Hey mate I know this is 3y old but wanted to comment. I know low block is typically more narrow and compact, while a high press is often more wide. Can I stay wide in a low or even mid block to maximize the space for when I do end up winning the ball? Want to isolate one of my strikers/wingers since I think I’m favorable in the 1 on 1, just wondering if this really contradicts my stand back approach from a low/mid block to be so wide

Hey man, any follow up on the attacking part of 4 4 2?
I can make one!
That would be Awesome man!
You would be a good manager
As a right midfielder, do I defend their left back or leftwing back at all times? Or do I go against their winger too?
Typically the midfielders naturally press the full backs but can change based on offensive movements and priorities
@@ModernFootballAnalyst thank you!
bro can u reupload your everton vs tottenham analysis it was a really good game
Yeah I’ll check to make sure I still have it!
Could you defend in a mid block 442 and then press in a 433 when the opposite team are in their half
Yeah!
What about defending with 4-4-2 against a false 9?
I'll have to mention it in my videos , but principles will be the same
How do you beat this kind of defense with a 433 false 9
I’ll make a video on it
