Ansur is Brutal on patch 6 Honour Mode ! He wiped my whole party, only thing that saved me was Being Half- Orc and Having Relentless Endurance, saved my Ass! And Noblestock!
There isn’t much to it. Helmet: horns of berserker for extra necrotic damage or pugilist. Armor: vest of soul rejuv. To bait opportunity attack and get 2 more attacks. Gloves: helldusk to soul catcher. Weapon: Phalar Aluve pretty much on anyone except Ansur. Then it’s Rapsody + blood thirst to bait another opportunity attack. Gloves for advantage: automaton vs. constructs or steeped in bliss + psychic passive vs everyone else because steep in bliss doesn’t work on constructs. Gameplay is a rotation of flurry and the push version actually knocks the steel watch into each other’s explosions. Resonance punch then blast. Do wholeness for extra bonus action. If you’re a daredevil - you can use helmet of grit for bonus action.
For necklace: something went wrong here because he had to use Jaheiras for the 20 wisdom. But I use the Harper magic shield or the amulet of greater health if you want tankiness. Other buff options are: enlarge + mirror image scroll. Rings are the +1 ac and callous glow or executioner. Bow is Hellrider or deadshot. Hellrider if you favor going first.
6:39 Does Infernal Fury even procs? It says there it'll proc if she's *raging or below 25% hp* but she's neither raging or below hp. But I see the combat log there has fire damage. Bugs or am I just high? Edit: Nvm its bug.
Is Karlach the character most respecced into Monk? I know I did on my first playthrough as a Paladin. I just wish I could get her sleight of hand proficiency. Urchin makes more sense for her background.
Too bad with the new update they won’t let you surprise him like this anymore. Kinda lame if you ask me because Ansur doesn’t have alert. Edit: actually you still can surprise - you have to come from the north entrance since the south entrance won’t do it for some reason.
generally, monks use staff as their weapon. Since you multiclass into rogue, you get more proficiencies. The fist of a monk does more damage, which is why he went level 9 and learned ki resonating strikes, which allow you to punch while getting the benefit of the weapon you're holding
Why that headpiece? Also I think the Horns of Berserker remain bugged and always does 2 necrotic damage for unarmed attacked, even when the monk is at full health (so it’s seemingly a better option)
Pugilist Circlet requirement is actually rather easy to trigger, it apply +2 Bludgeoning damage (Martial Bravery) as seen in the logs when punching Ansur. In this case, Ansur is resistant to Necrotic damage and on top of Greater Wyrm's Scale (-4 to all instances of damage), Horns of Berserker would end up dealing 0 damage to Ansur. There tend to be more enemies resistant to Necrotic damage compared to Bludgeoning as well, so Pugilist Circlet overall see more usage than Horns of Berserker.
Again invisible and surprised status abuse. For my point of view. This combat was the most difficult in honour mode as I was caught completety off guard…so good memories. Here the combat is a bit boring, without emotions
@@suleyman2768 it is simply the "game" portion exploited till rupture. It is not my taste. Important point : Sin Tee is brilliant like others speed runners. We are learning a lot of stuff from his content.
Not sure why you're fussed about the surprise round. Ansur could've had three surprise rounds on Karlach and the fight would still be incredibly easy to win with their setup.
@@Oddigan It is overall the combat. There is no surprise, everything was forecasted, no emotion in this combat. In my honor run, I was completely caught off guard by Ansur (immune to water status & breath retaliation). I finished the combat with 2 dead and the 2 survivors with 10 hp and less...that fight I will remember for a long time and it created huge emotion! The total opposite of this video..:)
@@MarcParisTV the fight being planned doesn't mean there is no emotion seeing your strategie work perfectly is extremely satisfying it is just a different way to play
3:15 mans so surprised even his limbs are surprised
Lmao that's so funny😂
How to punch your Dragon:)
Omg Karlach monk voice lines are too cute
Bro just surprised Ansur , LOL
When Ansur is charging his attack, you can just hide behind those rocks and receive no damage at all
Not true. I tested this and not always work.
i love monk and sin tee videos its a nice Tuesday
‼‼ NEW SIN TEE MONK SLAPPY VIDEO HOLY SHIT ‼‼
Huh I thought infernal fury didn't work unless raging or below 25% health guess that's a bug
That thing is scary. In my last run my entire team but my hunter got destroyed and my hunter had to solo it.

BG3 version of Tavern Brawler was meant for Karlach. I would like to see a full break-down of this build.

Soul coin.
@@EnterpriseFilms7Read again.
It’s currently bugged on respec’d karlach
I believe unarmed attacks always proc it, which is why it's used on Monk Karlach
Whether this is intended or not I do not know
Monk huh? Yeah I think I know what subclasses and feat you have.
Why is karlach like a super saiyan? what's that fire around her?
If she uses a soul coin she becomes a super saiyan.
a super saiyan that does a whopping 1d4 extra fire damage

The strongest would be astarion if he does the ascension, he gets an extra d10 necrotic damage on unarmed attacks.

Impressive.
I'm sure I"m just misunderstanding how it works since I'm new to BG3 and D&D, but isn't an OH Monk supposed to not using weapons?
At lvl 9, monks can use unarmored strikes even while holding weapons. So it’s best to hold weapons for extra stats/effects
Pretty sure they're just using them for the passive buffs they give. They're most unarmed striking for attacks and flurrying

He isn’t actually attacking with his weapons, he’s using his bonus actions on fists of flurry. The weapons are stat sticks, same with the bow.
they can't in D&D but in BG3 they can use any weapon as a monk weapon as long as they have proficiency
What amulet are you using? I know you showed it but it’s blurry on stupid phone.
Amulet is just a filler: Khalid's Gift provides the spell Aid (other effects only apply to Jaheira)
@@rhodan74 it also gives +1 wisdom and that applies to anyone
