Phil Mikelson knows how to make a good useful golf teaching video. He eliminates all of the extraneous and unnecessary talk that is confusing that you can't remember anyhow, and gets right to what you need to know to do a particular technique. Most teaching videos turn out to be all about a particular teacher getting to endlessly expound on a bunch of prereferral chatter that makes most viewers lose concentration and move on to another video. Mickelson doesn't do that. Bravo! I want more.

I was always taught the most crucial part of golf was played from 120 yards and in. Everything from Driver to 4 Iron I learned from Jack. Everything 5 Iron to full PW I learned from Tiger. But everything 120 yards and in I learned from Phil, and it has always been the strongest and most reliable part of my game.

Last year I went crazy with short game. I would take 3 balls and try and up and down 1 of them from a spot on the apron. Then from the rough. Then lastly from the bunker. I called it crazy eights because it should be 8 strokes. I would try and do all of this and keep pace on course. It’s a lock.

This is gold but I don't agree with the logic about bunker practice improving driving. This a correlation vs causation thing. It's just as likely that long drivers are good in bunkers because they are more likely to end up in them. Long drives make good bunker play necessary, not good bunker play makes for longer drives.
