Porsche Taycan Turbo S. It's a proper car by a proper car enthusiast company. She may not have an engine or rather a conventional voice but she gets you with her handling and right in the feels. Just her existence is more powerful or truly impactful than any Tesla or EV another company can throw at the consumer.
Taycan appeals to the heart with its stylistic design and quality and brand heritage. Plaid appeals to the mind and is more logical with its value, power/performance advantage, it's practicality, usability, tech and the supercharger network. Me, I'd take function over form (plaid) having driven both cars but there are people who prefer otherwise. No choice is the wrong choice as long as you're happy!
Taycan is also low-styled. Doesn't really stand out among other cars in flow. Instead of Lamborghini and other supercars, hypercars and most of "just sportcars" too
As much as I love the Plaid, I cannot deny that the Taycan is gorgeous, I am going Taycan Turbo/S after a couple more years in my M3P, I just hope they get down to used Plaid prices.
Taycan for sure. The only thing that might sway it the other way would be supercharging, but because I prefer the Taycan so much more, it probably wouldn't impact my choice. I don't particularly care that the Taycan is "slower" to 60, in my experience everything under 3 seconds is not super noticeable and I would prefer the better looks, interior, steering feel, and suspension of the Porsche over the Tesla.

For one, having the speedo in the center screen instead of in front of the driver view could be dangerous. Also, companies like Mercedes and Rimac have most definitely outdone them. Just because Teslas have Netflix and a movable fart sound doesn’t make them better.
@@bunsenn5064 I wasn’t even talking about the infotainment system at all it really stems From the fact that a Tesla is like a smart car. With the over the air up dates for the operating system which no other company seems to be able to pull off the way Tesla has. I was also thinking of sentry mode and plenty of other things but it’s based on the fact that it’s a smart car it’s a computer on wheels which is far superior to the vehicles that other manufacturers are making right now even most of the other electric cars that have came out or not on that level they are just electric vehicles not smart cars in my opinion.
