I missed Pikes Peak Escudo, I was a child when I played Gran Turismo 1. This car was real deal in there. I made incredible money. After all these 20 years. Nothing changed. :) Quite fantastic memories when I put my hands on it. :)

My fastest lap at Sardegna 1:31.8 😁. Quickest race at Sardegna 25:15.6. Without a turbo at 778PP. Had a couple of incidents, so sub 25 minutes is doable. Gonna try again tomorrow. Maybe add the turbo. Great set up Chris. Glad that you're bringing regular content again. 👌
Yeah I think the high rpm turbo helps a lot 👍🏻

Yeah it really feels a bit broken. Especially with the escudo. It’s way over 1000bhp 😳🤷🏻♂️
It's probably the most broken pp in the game at the moment. It's a rocket ship around Tokyo express as well. PD are bound to fix it soon, too many player making quick bucks with it 😂

I have tuned this car exactly the way you are saying to in this video, but my pp sits at 800.73 for some reason. I had to drop the power restriction to 99 for it to work for me. It will still work, it's just strange that the numbers are different on my end.
Yeah I should have explained earlier in the video. At the very end of the video you need to change wheels to bring it under the 800pp 👍🏻

@@Doughtinator not sure if the update messed this up, just tried today with wide wheels and I'm at 800.1. Put the old tires back on and lowered power output to 99. Thanks for the guide !

Told you this car was mad 😆 I have adjusted the gears so the turbo is always lit and doesn't bog down on the slower corners. You have to make use of all the gears and manhandle it around the traconto maximise it. Pileople have got 1m24 with this car.
Nice, I might try and tune it a bit more, I was worried about tuning the gears too aggressive and being a bit short on fuel
This is a turbo animal. It has so much downforce and requires full attention in corners. Brilliant tune and settings, track times fly by comfortably.

Have to try this when they add Suzuki to the Legends. Been grinding Sardegna and Spa with the DTM Audi and with controller I can easily get low 25min/hi 24min with it. This looks bit more fun.

Was thinking ‘why can I only hit 1:33’s!?’ … changed to your settings BOOM 1:29’s 🤣 … car now handles like a drunken sailor that wants to power drift every time I touch the breaks I might add, but who cares! Have to break slightly earlier than yourself as it doesn’t seem to slow down as fast, so only managed a 1:28:5 but, I’ll take 4+ seconds just for a set up!
Dropping the lean to power drops the time considerably though, by 1+ seconds. So unsure how you managed to pump those times with that at a -4 😂

i just bought it, and Sorry but what a piece of wet newspaper it is, imo it's not worth tuning ect, just take the Audi slam the door pedal to the floor and have fun driving like you stole it
The Escudo is the fastest I’ve ever had at Sardegna. But it’s defo less fun to drive.
For some reason my pp maxes out at 782. I double checked everything and i have it exactly as shown. Regardless it's night and day to how i had my tuned before😂

Yep it's a monster round tokyo express. I've done it in 21.53. Getting frequent sub 22 minutes around there

Thanks for the video. I'm going to try you suspension settings out of curiosity for tokyo though I think I'm pretty close to best I can get. Different track with different limitations pp wise so might not work at all. Worth a go though thanks

@@Doughtinator I can do tokyo express 600pp in 22.03 in my setup. I only had 1 go in yours and did 22.31. So I tried mine and did 22.15. I think I was just way too tired when trying last night. But my wheel was juddering much more with your setting in the corners
Yeah I think it’s much stiffer/lower setup.
@@Doughtinator my setup is a total unrealistic glitch concocted just to make credits fast as possible and maximise bhp for traction under 600pp. I'm stuck with Aero at 200 front and 700 rear. Ideally would want much more downforce at tge front and a bit less at the rear but it sends it over 600 if I do that so I've tried just making the wheels have better contact with the track. I could send my screenhots but it's not the same track we're racing on so it's not like for like.
Alternatively if you go on skull Busters YT channel they're using one of my builds and the suspension is similar to what I'm using now. I've sence refined
it but its quite close. Since that upload I've less juddering and gone 1 second quicker. My new setup uses different tyres than in the skull Busters upload of tokyo as well

Play with the downforce on the front, I think that the magic area is between 242 and 248, move it in single digits and re measure, leave the wing alone, good luck 🤞
If you watch at the end of the video the wheel choice lowers it the final amount to match my setup 👍🏻

I really like my G29. Recently brake has been sticking on a little bit a bit of a clean will fix that 👍🏻
