It's something about Super GT's tone overlaying the sounds of screaming engines and tires struggling for grip that creates the ultimate afternoon nap melatonin.
It really is something like a ritual for me as well. I always see your videos before I go to bed, then I watch about half of it and fall asleep and watch the rest the next morning while getting ready and it's such a wonderful way of enjoying a great night/morning. You have a fantastic voice and the sounds of the car accelerating and braking is so soothing. Can't help it mate

I always watch one of his videos while setting down for the night. The racing is good enough that you can watch the video and stay engaged but when you start to get tired you can also close your eyes and listen to the commentary until you're completely asleep.

So I found out that pov racing videos put me right to sleep. Finding this out, I now do it on purpose and honestly, these are S+ tier versions of that. A nice voice and cars going round a track. You should totally make an hour long video. I don't always fall asleep to your videos but when I do, it's always a good sleep.
He has some Forza endurance races that are 60+ minutes, but I definitely wouldn't mind more.

You got me! These videos are both educational and entertaining. At the same time when it's late at night and it's time to close my eyes, the sound of your voice, the beautiful sound of the high rev engines, and the hypnotic race lines are a good combination for making me fall asleep.

Falling asleep to your vids was never meant as an insult and Im glad you know. Im falling asleep because of the calm voice, engine sounds and how satisfying the races are. Usually using older vids or even livestreams so I can watch the new content when Im awake. :)

I find absolutely fascinating that people do fall sleep to racing videos. I use yours in particular to eat, because I can look away from the screen for the few miliseconds it takes me to take a bite without missing a lot (Your commentary is that good). It's great that you enunciate/foreshadow big events well in advance so I can rapidly regain focus to those

Aarava is very energetic, Jarno inhales his mic sometimes, etc. you're so calm in the heat of exhilerating racing, so it's a perfect mix. I've been falling asleep to your videos since 2018. Sometimes I put it on while im cooking or brushing my teeth because I just love your content. I've seen every single video probably as far back as 2016 and even if i do miss a few weeks, i just get excited to binge all of them.
I'm one of the people who watches your videos to fall asleep.
I have pretty bad tinnitus so a constant low noise is really helpful for falling asleep and the GT videos are perfect for that combined with your voice.
That also means I watch most videos twice, once while falling asleep and once the next day because I forgot what happened 😂

You are like a perfect content creator. the content and commentary by itself are engaging and good to watch as your normal day routine. But it also works really well as a sleep aid since the engine sounds have the perfect sound and loudness combined with the calm and collected way you talk is really soothing
I admitedly also fall asleep listening to SuperGT. Have been since the Forza days. Still here, subscribed. And I always finish the video the next day. It's just that good

There is three things that contribute to make you sleep:
Your voice is steady, you don't scream, dont talk too fast or slow, nor vary in the middle of the video
Car noise is really calming for a lot of people
You have a nice balance of voice and game sound on editing and some nice editing skills...

I’m glad you don’t take the sleep thing as a negative. Sometimes I will put your videos on my tv as I’m laying on my couch and just pass out after a few. Definitely a relaxing voice, and racing sounds are great white noise
i’m having an absolute blast with this game. I just bought it last week, and haven’t played any GT games since sometime when I had a PS3 years ago. I gave it a go at the lap time challenge and managed to get within 4.3 sec. I’ve learned quite a bit from your channel in a short time, cheers 🤝

And I wouldn’t just say that its your voice thats nice to listen to , its the manner of speaking! People tend to listen carefully to what u say as your calm and very clear about everything! Its a really good quality to have! I had a professor in college like that, in his class no one interrupted him ever nt bcz he was strict or anything. Students were just very respectful and listened to his explanations
