Hey friends! I hope you enjoyed the video...
Leave a comment letting me know how you store your inks and if you might check this unit out. :)

I store ink pads in empty, clear plastic Ferrero Rocher candy boxes! (LOL!! You can guess where the candy went!) They are only 1 1/2 inches tall and I can see each ink pad name and color right through them. They also stack easily. I label each box on the side as to the ink company and/or kind of ink. This works well for my small storage space. Thanks for another great storage idea.
Sure like that holder. I use wood Cassette holders. That i was lucky to get the first one free and the other for $5 apiece. They work wonderful for stamp ink pads
I started 22years ago making cards and still going. It warms my heart to see a young gentleman like you really get into all of the cardmaking skills. Thank-you
That's a pretty cool little set-up. My dad was a carpenter & I use his old nail boxes to store my ink pads. He made them out of wood, with dividers for the different size nails probably about 70 years ago. They are hanging on the wall over my work table. Really cool.
This unit is perfect for the full size distress pads which are a very unique size and hard to fit in other organizers without a spacer. That's why I purchased it. So cool that you are featuring it so others know too!
I purchased a Sanfurney 36 Slot Cell Phone/Ink Pad storage from Amazon to put my old & new SU inkpads in & they all fit great!!
Loved it so much I ordered another one for myself & 2 more as a gift.
Here's the info from Amazon. Sanfurney 36 Slots Cell Phone Storage Box for Classroom Calculator Holder Class Cell Phone Organizer White
$30.86. It is a different brand than what Simon reviewed but it is made with the same hard, sturdy, durable material. The brand Simon reviewed shows on Amazon as, "Not Available & not sure when or if we'll get anymore in". Just an FYI.
You are too sweet to do this kind of vid for us! (Although, I’d probably turn the scissors point side down, lol). I like the display look as well. Also, if you’re able to cut the cross section of the extra slots, you could probably have room to store your blenders all on one row (if that makes sense?)! Just a thought... thx again, Simon! 🤗
I have four of these, they are great, i proudly display all my Simon Hurley Create inks and Tim Holtz distress and oxide inks in them, with my refills on the top. So the opposite way to you, takes up less desk space, and you have an extra shelf on the top, could keep your blending tools in a small long basket on top.
Yay! Glad you found these and have been loving them too. :)
Melissa Spencer, could you please show a picture how these units are sitting on your shelf? Thank you.
I have this storage unit and like it a lot. It has held up great especially for the price point. Great for beginner too Now I’m looking for a bigger one.
If you choose to use the 2nd orientation , consider putting some cabinet door bumpers or strips of foam along the edge to keep your pads from sliding out. It will tip the holder back just a little bit🥰
I could also put my cassette tapes in it 😜 kidding. Thanks for the review!
Thanks Simon! My after-work, throbbing head appreciates the how-to for putting this together ;)
I have used less costly and more costly versions in my years of stamping. My favorite was an old cassette holder for very cheap but later the footprint (space it took up) as with the one you are demoing was problematic so my preferred has been the Portaink. It holds most types of ink pads and has adding for matching markers, although I don’t use that feature. It is nice to have options. Thanks Simon for sharing this product 😃
I have had that ink pad organizer for a while. I love it. Mine is used upright.
I had purchased one of these and I really love it! Very easy assembly and it works perfect for Tim Holtz and of course Simon Hurley size ink pads 😉
I just ordered it. Thank you so much for sharing, Susan
Cool! Thanks for demonstrating the construction and giving your opinion of the quality. I currently have my inkpads in a plastic drawer unit but they are not a perfect fit. I might just have to checks these units out.
Thanks, Simon! I go to a stamping retreat a couple of times per year and was searching for a more portable ink pad storage to take with me. (I have the StampnStorage units at home in my craft room, but wanted a light-weight solution for crops and retreats). This looks perfect!
I just got one these based on your video. THANK YOU! Works perfectly…. So economical
I saw this recently and was thinking about getting one. I need to display my ink pads so I use them more often! Thank you!
This might be s game changer for crafters who don’t have the means to purchase stamp n storage units. I think u can use them on a desk as well will consider them giving them a try tks for the update
Ordered it and will spray paint the organize teal to match my crafting room. Thanks Simon!
Yes Simon it's nice and affordable. Thank you.
I have 3 of them. I originally got them because they were cheaper than others. I keep my distress inks in them. I have mine standing so my pads will be horizontal. I ended gluing where the screws go. It will come apart if moved a lot. Great product for the cost.
Awesome storage option and inexpensive too...love that!!!
Thanks Simon! I already ordered mine! Yay! The perfect solution! I love your new intro- very cute!!
Thanks sooo much for the review!!! I have been looking at that unit on amazon and wondering how sturdy it would be!!
Love this idea! Thanks for sharing an inexpensive way to store ink pads!😍💕
Great product. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I was trying to find a affordable solution!
I bought one a few months ago and I love it.
I bought one these a few weeks ago and I love it!
Wow. Sold out already! Great videos, Simon. Keep it up!
Followed your link right over to shop! Thanks for the review!
Thanks Simon! That’s awesome! Now to corral my mini’s from Gina K and Altenew
I have one of these but it was sold under a different brand. And didn’t come with even the basic instructions! So my “one hour later” moment was putting it together 😊
I purchased this in 48 slots ($28). It was advertised for the distress oxides. The only thing I can suggest (which someone on Amazon suggested) was to purchase the #4 screws in 1/2” size since the 1/4” weren’t long enough. So that was an added cost but it is much sturdier now. I love it and face it so that i have a shelf on top and keep my blender brushes on top.
Best ink storage unit i love it sad they dont have them anymore
Nice! I love my Organize More units because I can wall mount them, but $20 is great for a small ink collection. Just FYI, Pixiss also makes nice storage cases for alcohol inks and any other “Ranger-sized” bottles. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Simon, l love the collection. My favourite would be the candles. Will be getting them as soon as they arrive in Australia. Your cards were amazing.
I have 8 of the 48 pad holder from same seller. Those sold out fast. They were 22.99 each. I use wood glue on mine so they would hold up longer. I hope they get more.
I just ordered one. Thanks for the video. But it's now $ 46.00 in Canadian funds. But free shipping. I'll order another if I like it. Great video!
Hi it is a very nice unit. I store all my ink in bins by type. When I need one I rummage thru the pile LOL. As I rummage I get ideas ~ thinking about it now maybe it is superstitious like if I change the system I will be less creative. This shelter at home is really getting to me. Take care ~ Toni
I so wish the store had them but they are currently unavailable but I do have Foam board and I have made a 12x12 stacking shelf so I may try my hand at this for ink pad storage too! Thanks for this amazing video and I am now a new subscriber! Yay, stay safe and enjoy.
I got mine today and I love it. 😍😍😍 I plan to get more
That’s perfect! Thank you!😃
So cool. Thanks for sharing
That is a nice unit. I however use the old radio shack cassette tape holders to hold my large stamp pads. My small pads are in draws of a Chest.
These fit ink pads Really well. I have memento, lawn fawn, stazon and versafine full pads in mine. You can also store other things like long skinny bottles (the ones I have are from the diy sharpie alcohol ink tutorial). So excited to see if others use them. I've had this storage for over a year and the inks don't leak, are fine when stored vertically like that as long as you close them slightly tightly. Thanks for sharing this Simon!!!
Thanks for sharing your experience with it! Great to hear that it has held up and works great for lots of inks. :)
Love your new intro! I have stamp’n storage but I love this idea!
Thanks!!
What are the dimensions? Also. I’d put the scissors sharp end down!
Thanks for the review.
Love it--great find Simon. Now if I can just find a place to put it....
You always make me laugh. In a very good way. You do a wonderful job with your videos.
I plan to use this in the position where the ink pads are stored flat, and just put a small support on the bottom front edge to make the ink pads more secure. Thanks for showing this-it will solve my storage problem.
Yay! Glad you are giving it a try... it is gonna be awesome in your space. :)
Simon thank you so much for sharing this video and product, I’ve ordered one to try and will probably grab more.. cell phone, Schmell phone this is way more useful for ink pads lol... ❤️❤️👍🏻
thank you for this video, I will certainly look the ink holder up on Amazon....thanks again
I was wondering if you know of anything similar for those mini inks thanks in advance.
I’m dying, 😂😂😂. One hour later....
This is great! Thanks for sharing! I have checked on Amazon Spain but no luck 😞. I store my inks stacked up in my Alex drawer, a temporary solution, until I find an economic system
This great! Thank you for sharing this. Also, ...of course I respect your opinions, but I do think the cell phone storage unit is a good idea. I'm a retired teacher. And especially for tests, teachers can collect all student cell phones for the duration. Anyway, I loved this video!!
Thank you so much
wow that is nice and very reasonably priced
Amazing and nice inkpad collection boy
I have that and I like it!!
I have those for my oxides! They work out really well! Mine is flipped the other way that you showed after.
Yay! Yes, I believe oxides are best stored on their sides because of the different formula. :)
Simon Hurley ugh! I have mine flat in a stamp n storage up on the wall! I guess I could rehang it sideways 🧐
Can't find these any more. They are currently unavailable on the link you shared. But it would of been great to get at least two of them for my craft space. Thank you for sharing. :)
Just saw this & you cracked me up! Maybe if I see these ink pads (YOUR ink pads--lol) I may use them more.
This storage unit looks really nice, but space on my desk is really limited. Do you know if this would fit in the IKEA Kallax cubbies? Also, would a reinker fit next to the ink pad, where the blending tool wouldn’t fit? Thanks for the review!! 😊❤️
I'm going to order one, but I'm wondering about the re-inkers for your ink pads, hoping maybe they'll fit in the front slots or something?
You could shave one side of your blender tool to make it fit in the unit...nice little unit 👍
Stay safe 🙏🤗
Hi Simon 2 questions?? can you remove a slot and it still stay together like every other to fit your blending tools?? curious.. And What is the ink dobber stand you use behind you by the paper storage on MY left looking at you........ tyia Have an Amazing Artistic Day!
Would stamp in up pads fit? Thx you are funny 😄 ❤️❤️❤️
Loved the Sponge Bob reference! I totally laughed out loud! This unit is great! I have one of the wood ones, but to be honest, I don’t like it. And it was like $70. Yes they are great quality, but not practical. This one is definitely on my list to buy. Thanks for sharing! Stay safe! 😷
Could you put your blending tools in the 2 front rows?
Maybe you can put the ink pad refill in with the ink pad.
I'd like to see what the Ranger Distress would look like in it. I use an acrylic nail polish holder to store my distress inks, it's colorful and very easy to use. They stack. Check it out.
Unfortunately, it's not available in Canada now. :P May have to resort to making my own from other UA-cam videos. Thanks for sharing.
I will send pics of the ink pad storage system my husband made.
Just received mine in the mail... I thought you was showing how to put this ink pad together...😆😳
I just ordered six more of your dye inks off of Ranger Inks.. Can't wait for them to get here..
Yay! You are going to love them. :)
@@simon.hurley I already love the Prom queen so that is why I ordered six more different colors.. I can't wait to try my alcohol inks that I bought a while ago too..
Could store re inkers next to each pad?
They are out on Amazon and don't know if they will be available again :(
Yay for being almost $60 in Canada. :( I might turn a cardboard box into one. :P
Just subscribed for future organization tips!
Awesome tutorial, Simon, and a great alternative solution! Thanks for sharing this info! Stay Safe!
Can you paint the material?
Its a nice box but I build my own storage. Can they be hung on a wall?
I’m looking for something that allows me to store distress oxides flat in a shallow Alex drawer. Do u know of something like my description above?
Great review, but I would store those scissors point side down!
I have this ❤❤
I'm sure going to get some of those
Awesome storage idea! What type of adhesive are those pink ones?
Therm O Web XL Tape Runner :)
@@simon.hurley Thanks for letting me know. And thanks for your videos. I'm loving them!
Funnily enough, in my country those are sold as phone organizers where people confiscate gadgets like a workroom floor
One hour later!!! 🤣😂🤣😂
Simon, I watched this even tho I don’t need an ink pad holder. You made me laugh when you were counting the slots...3 X8 = 24.
And "...one hour later..." LOL
Maybe if you took out one divider, you could have room for your blenders.
So weird but I can't add it to my cart and it doesn't show as sold out. I will wait a day to see if it continues
I linked to some other wooden units on Amazon here: ldli.co/e/x0j5go
Note: I haven’t tested them, but they seem to have good reviews and the slots are the same size. Just a bit more expensive. :)
Aw nuts! Doesn’t ship to Canada and not available on Amazon.ca 😭
ndsturg , what else is new? 😩
Yes it is....if you want to pay $88 Cdn.
It is currently unavailable on Amazon.
Great idea!! But now it’s sold out. 😜😄
Unfortunately, they are not available on Amazon at this time. :(

You did a good job of selling them. They are out of stock now.

The screws do not stay in
