Hi Scotty, another beautiful location. I would have definitely had a few casts where that little waterfall was dropping into the lake. It would have to be washing fish food into that area. Thanks for sharing mate.

Was thinking the same thing. And the noise of a lure or bait hitting the water would have blended with the sound of the water hitting from above.

Always interesting to hear people talk about "no bushcraft today" because they use a bic lighter. Bushcraft is being able to gather what you need for a fire, finding the dry wood, arranging the coals for cooking on. All the good stuff. That's not actually true, if he's where I think he is, it's controlled by WaterNSW and they generally have bans on solid fuel fires, $5500 fine. Shhh don't tell. Edit, I was only half right, the dams further out west only have bans on model aircraft and drones, it's the water way closer to the coast and big populations that have the bans on fires (like this one).

In 1996 my father went to the local canvas shop and paid $200 for a flat swag with a flap on the end. After a single use and being raged by mozzies all night that swag went on the fire in the morning. Since then I refuse to use a swag without fly screen and never had one fail on a trip. And with all the water laying around they will be insane this summer. Plus heading into summer a swag isn’t the best way to go unless you like sleeping in an oven lol.
But that vented great video man, would be interested to see if you could do the same thing inland, away from the sea. But then you’d probably have to trap or hunt a protein for the main meals

Nice glassy lake for a canoe trip. We're well into fall, my favorite time of year, here in the US, altho it's nice when spring comes after a long, cold, snowy winter. Your wraps looked so good. I've never heard of halumi (sp?) cheese. I'll have to look it up. Here in Wisconsin, we are the cheese state, so I better find out about halumi. The sand bar camping was indeed picturesque. I always marvel at the bird calls. Not familiar to me at all. Thanks for the video. Really enjoyed it. Can you put one up with you and your wife on a camping trip? HOO ROO!
