I've had a long hard week!! This is the sort of stuff I like too chill and relax too!! I can only dream of going camping and fishing at this point and time in my life!!
Another beauty of a vid Scotty. You’ve made quite an impact on my outdoors adventures, from AG tarp, groundsheet and air mattress, Akubra hat and good old Halloumi cheese fried up on the day hikes. Thanks for what you give all 108,000 of us Scotty. Cheers from Canada!
Hi Scotty, another beautiful location. I would have definitely had a few casts where that little waterfall was dropping into the lake. It would have to be washing fish food into that area. Thanks for sharing mate.
Thanks for the birthday present :D Always a pleasure watching your videos! Always get a bit home sick for Strya when watching your vids. Been living abroad for 22 years now, always makes me think about moving back to Australia. Done a few camping trips here in Germany, but the scenery is not comparable to the one you get in Australia
Wow Scotty you certainly do find some beautiful tranquil places. Always good to get home from work and sit back, relax and watch such awesome adventures. Nice work, cheers 🍻
Thanks for the memories scotty. No crocs that far south but the area does have some nasty snakes and the infamous funnel web spider in the Nowra /Jervis Bay area.
Another inspiring adventure, always love your natural way, your destinations are amazing, we are so very lucky to live here in Oz.... good on ya, Scotty!
Beautiful video, your camping videos are some of my favorites. I never thought to camp out of a canoe... And I don't know why! I love fishing and camping, and that solves both! Looks like I'm in the market now.
Lovely to see you again. Scenery was stunning. Shame you didn’t catch any fish but the water did look very murky. Weather was a bonus. Take care, be safe. Dorset, UK
Beam me up, Scotty! It's 1C here this morning and we've had our first snowfall! Love your vids, but mostly your summers in our winters!! Love the drone footage. Thank you!! 👍😎🇨🇦💪💘🏞⛺🛶
Don't ever change, you are so wholesome and genuine, we have watched so many videos and then they think they are comedians, you keep it real, thank you from central WI.
The combinations of food that you come up with are unique. Not sure I would eat half of them, mayo and kiwi fruit on a taco sounds horrible, but it is still nice to see something different then just fish and lemon.
Those tacos looking soo good. You are going to make me have to try kiwi fruit and Haloumi tacos now. What a location as well. This kind of spot is a dream of mine.
That's not actually true, if he's where I think he is, it's controlled by WaterNSW and they generally have bans on solid fuel fires, $5500 fine. Shhh don't tell. Edit, I was only half right, the dams further out west only have bans on model aircraft and drones, it's the water way closer to the coast and big populations that have the bans on fires (like this one).
Great video Scotty! Fishing is a great reason to get on the water. Doesn't matter if you don't catch anything. I love listening to the bird calls in the background - heaps of species in that area! Nice job with the audio balance.
We are so ready to go yak-packing out on the lake or river... You were so lucky to get a sunny w/end there. Thanks for sharing and taking us along. Love the meal ideas too. Cheers
Australia is entering it's summer, looking forward to seeing the future camp spots. Can't beat the open sandy area for an overnighter. I have to say all your meals look gourmet, delicious!
❤ watching what you cook, I’ve actually made some, and they all fantastic, easy and Delish. From someone in South Australia, this scenery is so so beautiful, I’ll never get there, but I get to see it through your lense. I also feel so relaxed watching. Thankyou so much.🙏🏼👍🇦🇺🦘🐾🦎
Nice overnighter mate! Once the cicadas start singing have another crack at the bass on surface lures of a late afternoon! Jitterbug poppers are great for bass! Thought you might have got one under that waterfall though hehe!
Good one. If it makes you feel any better I didn't have any luck that same weekend. Water might be on the cold side up there. Bass are biting well on the coastal rivers right now 👍
This channel makes me want to go to Australia so bad and not just a week or two like a whole month. Especially the Kimberly such a remote beautiful place.
Scotty, you've excelled again, mate. Immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of nature just 'doing its thing' was magic, thanks. BTW, properly crispy Haloumi is the way to go, I reckon. Cheers.
Hiya, have just discovered your channel and I'm really enjoying your videos! Such a different side of Australia than the beaches or the desert/outback areas. Loving it!
Scotty your vids keep getting better and better my man! I love watching them from here in the state of South Carolina US. Weird hearing you say it’s spring, but it’s October. Thanks for taking me to a place virtually I’ll never get to see physically!
Always interesting to hear people talk about "no bushcraft today" because they use a bic lighter. Bushcraft is being able to gather what you need for a fire, finding the dry wood, arranging the coals for cooking on. All the good stuff. Thanks for another great video, your country is just beautiful.
Nice glassy lake for a canoe trip. We're well into fall, my favorite time of year, here in the US, altho it's nice when spring comes after a long, cold, snowy winter. Your wraps looked so good. I've never heard of halumi (sp?) cheese. I'll have to look it up. Here in Wisconsin, we are the cheese state, so I better find out about halumi. The sand bar camping was indeed picturesque. I always marvel at the bird calls. Not familiar to me at all. Thanks for the video. Really enjoyed it. Can you put one up with you and your wife on a camping trip? HOO ROO!
Biggest bass i have caught in that area is in that arm in and around the trees about half way up . With all the water flowing in it will still be too cold for the fish to become really active . End of November they will start to fire up .
As always a fantastic video, thank you so much for bringing us all along. Never get tired of chilling out watch your adventures. I’m curious 🤔 can you see the southern cross star formation? If so can you get a night shot of the stars, love to see how bright it all is out in the bush land. Cheers mate, enjoy the spring! - Andy
Wow, looks like an amazing time outdoors Scotty! I would love to integrate canoeing into my hikes, but I think I need a little more experience in canoeing and filming at the same time. The food looks delicious and your camp looks super cozy too. Great video!
Hey brotha love the videos. When you’re fishing remember predator fish chase moving baits in wind and current . When it’s slow or slack water try a Texas rigged setup with a craw , or a Ned rig . You will have much more success. Cheers mate and thanks again for all you share.
You wanna get onto the gum smoked halloumi from Bodalla Dairy. Even better than Tilba. Not sure where you can get it except for Bodalla Dairy Shed. It is the only halloumi I eat now.
Would love to visit many of your trip destinations. Just a suggestion, I used a kayak paddle in my canoe and it is so much easier to do anything in a canoe. Cheer !
Scotty ,you should add some soft plastic worms to your gear. Fish them slowly in water like that .I can't imagine Aussie bass would be that much different our American species.
Hi Scotty. Great video as always. Your quality is amazing. Truly shows the beauty of our state. Are you able to say what lake it is or do you keep it quiet to protect it

Scotty, if you haven't heard of him yet, you should check out Jim Baird, he does these kayak adventures in and around Canada.
FYI mate your patreon link has a typo - remove the s on the end :)
know that place like the back of my hand....always beautiful, majestic and quiet. You just sneaked this one in between the deluges Scotty
I've had a long hard week!! This is the sort of stuff I like too chill and relax too!! I can only dream of going camping and fishing at this point and time in my life!!
Thank you for the great outdoor videos buddy. ❤️👍🏼
Beautiful filmed trip as usual, mate!
That got me so keen to get back out on the water. 🛶
Another pack raft is due, especially with the warmer weather
@@gd8612 Not wrong! I picked up one for myself a few weeks ago as well. Ready to go 💪💪

What bloody beautiful place! It's good to see that you have replaced your old leaky air mattress.
Hi Scotty, another beautiful location. I would have definitely had a few casts where that little waterfall was dropping into the lake. It would have to be washing fish food into that area. Thanks for sharing mate.
Was thinking the same thing. And the noise of a lure or bait hitting the water would have blended with the sound of the water hitting from above.
Yeah I did mate. No luck unfortunately
Thanks for the birthday present :D
Always a pleasure watching your videos!

Thanks for the memories scotty.

Thank you for taking us to such beautiful places Scotty, it's very much appreciated!
Some of those trips are just like that hey, no luck at getting a fish. But that little sand bank camp sure makes up for it. What a place to camp.
Thanks Scotty. Every video you share the scenery gets more beautiful. Thank you for taking us along.
Beautiful video, your camping videos are some of my favorites. I never thought to camp out of a canoe... And I don't know why! I love fishing and camping, and that solves both! Looks like I'm in the market now.
Mate that sounds awesome, hope you have a sweet time!
I just can’t get enough of your vids Scotty.

Hi Jan, I live near Green Bay. You?
That's my favourite canoe hike, beautiful area. Thanks Scotty, I'll have to get back down there.
Where is it?
It reminds me a bit of Kangaroo valley with the beautiful river .
THE MUSIC AND THE SCENERY ARE SO CALMING, IN THESE HARD DAYS. THANK YOU FOR A MOMENT OF TRANQUILITY.
Just loved this solo canoe adventure Scotty reminded me of my earlier years and lake canoeing in Canada

Another great one, Scotty!
What a sweet life! You have it figured out! Cheers from Arizona, USA!

Always enjoyed looks you set up the tarp 👍
Great video Scotty! Fishing is a great reason to get on the water. Doesn't matter if you don't catch anything. I love listening to the bird calls in the background - heaps of species in that area! Nice job with the audio balance.
You've done it again. Just a stunning collection of visuals you've gathered. Keep them coming.

Australia is entering it's summer, looking forward to seeing the future camp spots. Can't beat the open sandy area for an overnighter. I have to say all your meals look gourmet, delicious!
Nice scenery mate, some of those waterfalls and rock formations are similar to the area's in the upper Hawkesbury River. Thanks.
Thanks for the video…absolutely beautiful…the sand bar is a super awesome spot…stay safe and take care !!

Great vid Scotty. Beautiful tranquil area. Gee, bit extravagant having ice for the G&T🤣🤣
You found sand island!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO
Soon we'll have to book in to get a spot there lol

Another cracking video! Cheers Scotty atb mate, Matt 👍🏻
I have found that the fishing is always good, the catching maybe not so much. Good looking country.
Yup, beautiful.... are there aligators there? Thanks for all the awesome videos... makes me want to travel to Australia... 🌀💚🌀
No alligators in oz. Just crocodiles, they're much worse! And he's not far enough north for them.
Wonderful video, thanks for sharing. Hey, how is the puppy coming along for camping, that was a great video too.
Good stuff scotty..... You love your grub mate..... Looks good..... Fishing.... Use bait..... And leave it in
Taking bait on a canoe trip isn't practical.
@@Grievous- a little tin of worms won't kill anyone
beautiful place, friend, greeting
Thanx good vid

Cheese from Tilba cheese factory is awesome 👌, try the fire cracker. Great video as always.

So peaceful, nice relaxing journey, 🐾

It's probably off the Shoalhaven or Kangaroo rivers, I know he's made video's there before, the dams closer to Sydney don't allow access to the water.
