- I haven't seen a duet remixed of the beautiful song covers of Chiika and Ashe. I just did a quick remix of it on Audacity and voila.
By no means am I stealing anything. I just really wanted a beautiful duet of the two. The song originally belongs to YASU and none of this is making me profitable anyhow. If the two mentioned artist wants me to take this down then I will do so.

Just a question but I don't precisely remember in the game stating that Gary has a feminine "voice". I know that he's suppose to speak and say stuff in a less manly way (such as using more feminine nouns like 私 instead of 僕 or 俺 ) but I don't think or remember it being feminine "voice" per say. Which means from my understanding, that Gary can technically have a deep, Cry-ish voice but still speak in a feminine way.
Or tl;dr: voice is NOT speech mannerism ergo Gary's voice can be super deep but still girly.
//please correct me if I'm wrong though??? Or maybe kouri decided to answer that somewhere in their website that I didn't know of?

That's true I always liked to imagine what the anime voice cast would be like if it ever happened. For the Dub fans like me.
If you wanted I could see someone Yuri Lowenthal in English the same guy who voices Sasuke Uchiha, Ben Tennison, Mercury from Rwby and many others.
Since in anime often the trend with characters with a design like Gary's they tend to have have surprisingly smooth voices.
Keith Silverstein who voices Makoto from K project, Stark from Bleach and Yagari Toga from Vampire Knight would also be a good choice.
For Ib maybe someone like Stephanie Sheh who voices characters such as Hinata Hyuga, and Rin from Naruto. Moka Akashiya's human form in Rosario + Vampire, and Usagi / Sailor Moon from Sailor Moon Crystal. She's known for her soft childlike,and timid voice but, also has the ability to show range when she needs to.
For Mary maybe someone known for the yandere roles.
Leah Clark who voices Himiko Toga from My Hero Academia, Mayu from Noragami, and Rubi from Rosario + Vampire could be a good choice plus she and Stephanie have been enemies in other anime so hearing them work off each other could be fun.
I remember the part and it was Ib that asked Garry "Why do you talk like a girl?" Which I think means that he speaks more gently and uses different words, but I don't think it was specifically talking about the pitch of his voice

I'm confused as to why people are talking about Garry's voice? I personally think this voice matches him. I never imagined his voice as super deep but also not super high pitched either. He's still a grown man after all.

i still can't listen to garry's fighting for you and mary's puppet ,whether singing or instrumental,without feeling extremely melancholic and empty and both of these songs just hit me like a truck whenever i listen to them..

I personally think if Ib became a dubbed anime either Ashe, Cry, Todd Haberkon (voice actor for Death the Kid in Soul Eater and Italy in Hetalia) or Johnny Yong Bosch (voice actor for Akasuna no Sasori from Naruto and Ichigo from Bleach) would be perfect for Garry :)
actually the game was made in japan and Garry "took" to speaking in their feminine ways not masculine so it wouldn't mean that he has a girly voice he speaks girly

Since we're discussing headcanon voices...
The first time I read a line of Garry's, I'll admit that Vic Mignogna was my first thought. Like his serious Tamaki voice, but just slightly lower. You know, that exact 'make women and men orgasm on the floor until they die' tone.
This duet is really cool. This voice matches Garry, but so does the voice for him the the Voiced Drama
Ashe's voice sounds a bit silent here compared to Chiika's...
Maybe boost his voice up a bit?
Ib is 9 and Garry is somewhere around 30 because Mary said he was old enough to be her dad.
lol the wiki said that hes about 18-21 the only reason mary thought he was her dad because he was being so protective with Ib

dude, when i first saw someone play Ib(it was PewDiePie... sadly, i dont think i can play it for a while:P) the way i imagined Garrys voice(im usually very good at coming up with voices~) this guy has EXACTLY the same voice as the Garry of my imagination did...

People did a PV for Ib and Nipah ended up voicing as Gary. It was a bit high pitched for my taste but he did an excellent job. ^^'

I'm pretty sure he's in his 20's - also, that makes it possible for him to be Mary's father, as she is a paining, and just because she is portrayed in the paining as being around Ib's age (or whatever) doesn't mean she actually is that age. She could be portrayed as a 10 year old and still be only 4 years old, as that is the age of the physical painting itself. She just looks that age.

I agree too... when I played it through for my own channel, I couldn't help but substitute Garry's voice with Cry's in my mind.

I think the perfect voice for Garry's would be 96Neko's voice for him in this video: /watch?v=p269QArJpeA Garry talks like a girl, so I think having a slightly feminine voice would suit him. Romi Paku would also do a great job.

I agree. I have always thought that, judging by his appearance, his voice should sound VERY far from boyish or awkward. It should sound at least something like how ChaoticMonki makes him sound.

But at some point during the game (I believe it is in the saferoom) Ib gets the option to ask Garry 'Why do you talk like a lady?' so I've always imagined him with quite a feminine voice. Much higher pitched than Crys. But that's just an opinion :)

I really like Cry's voice, and it's nice, sort of, for Garry, but, you know? I just think Garry has a more feminine voice, and I thought the one in the anime drama for Ib was nice. Look up NipahDUBS. Yeah. His voice, and Ashe's. (sang Fighting for You) Cry sounds more masculine and I don't know, I just feel like the other two voice Garry better. I watched the whole Cry playthrough, too. Remember that scene where Ib talks about how feminine Garry's way of talking is?

court honermann Ib is supposed to resemble a young girl between 9 & 10 years old. Gary is 18-21 years old. Thus, their relationship is entirely platonic.
Though I agree Cry as a perfect voice (in every case) but people seem to say that Garry has in reality a more... womanish voice. Kinda strange, but, well. I don't know.

though if he wasnt explained with that voice, Id picture cry as him,too. ^^
