Please don't ever stop the Weekly Used Gun Reviews... they are awesome!
Very nice. 4 of those are prohibited to own in Canada unless you have that on your permit, Sad because criminals can have them.
Still kicking myself for not buying crates of mosins back in the 90s. I guess we all thought it was going to last forever.
Considering the political situation with Russia; we may not see imports again?
Ikr, when I was a teen in the 90s a guy I worked for during the summers remodeling tried to get me to go in on a crate of SKSs for $300 and I declined being a dumb kid. Now you can't touch a SKS for less than $800 or more.
Thank you sir always enjoy learning new history of weapons.
I'm Australian, so I can't even have a Daisy air rifle,(hard to get airsoft, in my state)So .I love seeing and hearing about all the cool firearms that I will never ever touch, let alone shoot.Thank you,Chris, for such entertaining and informative videos. And say "G'day" to Randy for me.
Hey mate it's called a collectors licence u can own anything here in Australia u just need the right licence

Some really interesting firearms this week. Never heard of the P4 before!
the price of mosin-nagants nowadays is absolutely insane! I got my first one just 11 years ago for a single c-note, and it'd came with the oil can, bayonette, a sling, a belt pouch to carry spare ammunition and 440 rounds in a spam can. just a few years before that, one could get it for $75 or even less, along with SKS or old AK's.
Supply and demand... 🤷🏽♂️
@@WALTERBROADDUS not just. 91-30s are still plentiful; they [along with many other European guns from the early 20th century] are having a resurgence in popularity, so it seems. additionally, prices are up across the board.
@@teiwaztim1482 plentiful? But will they be imported? Between Ukrainians eating up every weapon system they can get their hands on. And embargoes on Russian everything, time will tell.
@@WALTERBROADDUS there are many other foreign platforms. some of the coolest are the old century arms ar-15's from late Korea/early Vietnam. 91-30s are still being made by modern companies; polymer and plastic. i feel like there are plenty of leftover surplus items.
as an aside, you really think our government gave ukraine 8+billion usd for them to use 5 round magazine intervals from a 100-year-old platform with no optics? or the russians are still using them?
I know
As always, great history and presentation
The HK P7 is my dream gun!! Gorgeous!! I also appreciate that Smith 24.
Have been subbed for awhile now and enjoying your videos. If you’re thinking of culling some of your UA-cam efforts i will say this is my favourite of your formats. These episodes provide really interesting concise historical background to a wide variety of firearms and they provide a glimpse of the used gun market in the United States. These plus your occasional vlog discussing your your analysis of various market influences on the firearms industry are what keeps me coming back.
I think I have seen all your episodes and this is the first time I have not been intimate with at least one of your review subjects.
Mosin Crate just dropped a big batch of Finnish 28-30. He gave a nod to the M39.
Wow that p7 m8 is awesome.
Another great Sunday morning start .
Thank you for the information and not loading up with commercials
Thank you for your presentation.
Fantastic episode for a cold Sunday morning!!!
As someone who has worked in the industry, your channel is a rare gem. Very professional, informative and well-researched. Your videos helped me to become much more knowledgable, especially when doing customer appraisals. We need more no-bullshit guys like you working the counter!
Keep up the great work, love all the videos that you put out!
Great review Chris love the history
👍 Thank you for the constant infusion of knowledge...👍👍
Always interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Great stuff as always,my favorite was the Fin! It’s true in rally cars and Mosin’s “If you want too win get a FINN!”M39 sweet!
I've seen those colts with scratch marks through the numbers on the slide. That's a cool smith model 24 , just saw one at a gun show the other day. Always good information and history
Thanks for sharing
I know you are not doing this to sell anything but, I would love to see more stuff on your storefront. Typically I check a few times a week but don't see a lot of movement on new listings.
We usually post about 20 or so a week but they typically sell very fast. We're also juggling our inventory across our storefront in Indiana as well as our GB account. We're growing, but we're still a small operation. Thanks for checking in with us!
@@MarksmanTV sounds good! A fun improvement to the website could be a alert sign up when inventory is posted.
Nothing mandatory, but an optional sign up alert system.
You can get the gallant built on James river armory (jra) reciever and barrels, still using the original parts kits. From classic for 1000$-1250$ I got one two years ago, but I see them pop up all the time on classic even yesterday.
Damn! I want that Navy Luger.
Chris, I bought my PPK/S new in 1975, well before you were born, I suspect. It was an Interarms import, manufactured by Walther in Ohlm, West Germany, and is so marked. It is stamped “9mm Kurtz” on the slide, and was called a “Polizei Pistol Kurtz” (PPK). Have never heard it referred to as the “Police Pistol Kriminal”. It is chambered in .380 cal, which in Europe was called a 9mm Kurtz (short). I believe the Walther PP is a slightly larger pistol chambered in the standard size 9mm cartridge. I’d be curious to know where you learned it was called a “Kriminal”.
9mm Kurz on the slide is referring to the cartridge of .380 (known in Germany as 9mm Kurz), not the model. According to Marshall, Hogg and Still, leading authorities in German sidearms of the era (PP and PPK specifically), the "K" in "PPK" stands for Kriminalmodell. This is apparent of you look at print ads from the 1930's (my email address is in the "about me" section of my UA-cam channel -send me an email and I'll be happy to send you copies of the early ads). In Walther advertising of the era, it is always referred to as the "Kriminalmodell" or "Polizei Pistole Kriminalmodell" and never referred to as "Kurzmodell" or "Polizei Pistole Kurz". In the 1960's there were a couple Walther ads that mentioned the word "kurz" (unclear if they were referring to the model or the caliber), which is likely where the assumption of "K" for "kurz" originated. I also own a non-import marked 1960's era blued PPK made at Ulm chambered in 9mm Kurz. They're excellent pistols!
I have a Ranger version (not an S) that I bought new in the 80's. It appears to be of comparable quality to the Walther. In the past I have heard them referred to as both the Kurtz and the Kriminal. Now I know which is correct. Several of those handguns made me drool. Alas none are for sale on the website.
Yes, it is Kriminal, not Kurtz. The implication of the name was that it was geared towards detectives and police investigators as a small, concealable carry option. Marketed the same as the American "Detectives Special" from Colt that was carried by a TON of cops back in the 50's and 60's.
Awesome
FYI I have the same Finish Mosin but the barrel is still chambered for the Finish 7.62x54R which needs the narrower .308 bullets and can sometimes chamber standard Russian surplus but is tight or won’t close the bolt completely and will damage the barrel or worse. Even if the arsenal markings indicate that it was rechambered for the Russian ammo be careful and hopefully the retailer selling will know if that is the case.
Some beautiful examples in this week's episode. It's probably a good thing for my bank account your shop is far away.
I’m always hoping to find an M45A1 with the Marine Corps markings. Someday
Always makes for a better day. That’s high praise from my miserable old ass.
Is there any chance you could do a side by side comparison of the ATI Galeo and the JRA Gallant?
Just put a P4 on layaway some guy inherited a bunch of guns and is anti-gun and then consigned them at the gun sho. i am getting a P4 for 400 bucks let’s just say I am happy!!
loss for him gain for me
Any plans on posting the m8 on your used gun website?
For those who still say two thousand twenty-two instead of twenty twenty-two... I was born in one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
Will the Galeo be for sale and if so how much?
Is it just me or did that PPK have a 90⁰ safety,?
Will all of these be offered online?
The HK M8 is so ugly that I want one😁
Check your UA-cam reply. I just got a scam from you saying I been selected for a prize.
Sweeeeet
3rd!
Why use that term ASSAULT RIFLE let's not feed the animals,,We've been saying for years that the AR is NOT A assault rifle,,.Nice Video these are much better.than unboxing. Not FDE,,it's tactical peanut butter
"Assault rifle" is an accepted technical term when discussing select-fire, shoulder fired rifles chambered in an intermediate cartridge. The media uses it incorrectly when discussing semi-auto rifles. I did incorrectly let the SKS in with the AKM in this video when using the term... So you got me there lol. Thanks for watching and I am glad you enjoy the videos!
Idc what they call it. The 2A is absolute. They can all kiss my ass till their lips fall off.
Playing word games never really solves anything.
The AR-15 is an assault rifle. The AR-15 is a weapon of war. That's the whole point. Sic Semper Tyrannis!
@@caedmonnoeske3931 technically an assault rifle is a select fire weapon. AR stands for ArmaLite the original rifle maker.
👍🏻👍🏻☕️☕️🇺🇸🇺🇸💯
Polizei Pistole Kriminal...that translates into Detective Special. Not literally of course. Plainclothes cops aka detectives aka Kriminalpolizei would get this. Not uniformed police aka Ordnungspolizei.
