- Welcome to Weekly Used Gun Review. These videos are meant to by entirely educational. Nothing in the video is for sale. There are no fire demonstrations in this video. In this series I pick a small sample of guns that have been brought into our store for review. This is a good way to expose my viewers to a wide array of firearms that might not otherwise get their own dedicated review. Some of the recent interest in ten millimeter handgus must be due to the fact that it is relatively easy to find 10 mm compared to 9 or 45

The Remington was missing the rear site also. I picked one up at the end of September for $400 along with a pre 1964 Model 70 for $500. Use the Model 70 to take a deer this year.

I have a '64 remington model 760 in 30-06. Inherited from my dad. Remington does have replacement magazines for that model. Great gun.

The Remington 760 in 30.06 was the first rifle, I shot as a kid growing up... It's what I learned on. 30.06 with an iron buttplate... what a kick!!! I'd be sitting at the benchrest and dad would hand me the rifle. I didn't know if there was a round in it or not. If I flinched when there wasn't a round in it, it'd sometimes result in a backhand... learned really quickly to follow through with your shot and not flinch. I can't complain, I believe it made me the decent shot I am today??? Oh yeah, we thought the barrel was wiped from my uncle's hot reloads, cuz it wouldn't hold a group... turns out it was just the new Bushnell Banner scope. Back then they weren't that good!!! I shot my first buck with it... age 12!!! Before my brother ever got his. He was hunting for 2 years before me... Hehehe!!!

Can’t understand “Glock haters”.. it’s a firearm that is affordable, functional and durable... maybe the looks aren’t for everyone but to “ hate” a gun seems extremely juvenile.. I could see if they were super high priced and exclusive but they are one of the most popular pistols sold today.. sounds like people need to get over themselves!
Nuthin wrong with Glocks, they are fine tools, I prefer Sig Sauer, but a Glock is a good choice ...
@@crktritual agreed. I carried a sig for years In DAO and when we switched to MP’s we thought we went to heaven. Sigs are top notch guns. It’s training that makes a shot. Never the gun.
If Glock would make a comfortable grip I would be interested. Or at a bare minimum get rid of the plastic sights. Glock is like Colt living on its past and government contracts. Way to many better options out there now days at similar or lower cost.
7 reasons S&W M&P2.0 is better than Glock:
1. Owned and operated by Americans. Though some Glocks are assembled in America using American and Austrian parts.
2. Optional thumb safety
3. Just looks better
4. Grip: Texture, angle, contour
5. Steel, steel, and more steel: Magazine, sights, guide rod, controls
6. Pic rail instead of accessory rail
7. Fully supported chamber
3 reasons Glock is better:
1. Factory extendo mags
2. Commonality through decades of use
3. Many firearms that aren't Glock take Glock mags.
Many other pistols out there but this is copied and pasted.

2. On a defensive firearm a thumb safety is not a benefit. Especially under stress.

First, even though I am not a Glock fan, I do enjoy the education. Hearing the value on the 760 was quite a surprise! And lastly, learning that Colt is no longer actually building their own firearms was a stunner. These are a few reasons why your "Used Gun Review" is a must see for me every week.

Personally I think Glock could do a better job at making the 20/21 not feel like a 2x4...or just buy an xdm
I know. Have a 17,but the 21 feels clunky, bought the XDM. All good.

The 10mm is about to (again) explode in popularity. A good amount of shooters are getting bored with 9mm, and are yearning for more higher power options.

Can you shoot .40 cal. S&W out of a 10mm? I'm mostly a 9mm; .357 mag; .45 guy for pistols. Funny seeing the Glock cases. I just took my G-19 Gen5 and G48 cases and put them in my storage shed. Going to need the shed just for my firearm boxes. But don't to leave the new ATV outside and no room in the garage atm.

I love my Blackhawk 44 magnum. with a 7 and a half inch barrel , it is a real hand full too shoot with hot rounds but I usually shoot 44 special and it shoots nice . The barrel is ported to ease the muzzle flip with magnum rounds. Well worth the money.

Love to see the videos post! Off work in the morning and will make my weekly LGS run to see what is new, or what is left. Glock factory LE refurbished in 40 S&W are 465.00 in our area of NC. Wanted a 45ACP, wound up with a S&W MP full sized in same ball park. Great yellow box Ruger’s was the color boxes I was selling at Frankonia Jagd in Germany in the 90’s. Gold cup prefer the series 70, owned a 80 and was never totally happy with it. In SIG like the original PE90, shot competition with the Swiss military 89-98, doubt many made it to the US before the silly 94 ban. Wish SIG-sauer would get tooling here and make them, they were less bulky, and a sleek super shooter at 300+ meters. Would also like to hear more on the ATF ruling, was planning on building a small AR15 pistol.
The first pistol I ever shot was a Browning BDA in 1986. Nice shooter.

Just recently got a Springfield 1911 in 10mm. This round is awesome!!! I'm not a fan of Glock but I'm looking at a 20 or 29 for EDC. Highly considering the 29 not sure. I am certain it will be a Glock. This will be my first Glock and will replace my Sig p320 9mm. Looking to see what everyone else would choose G20 or G29???
I have a model 760 just like you reviewed (umm, before the boating accident that is). it is a handful to shoot, you definitely feel the recoil, that said, it is very accurate

1st ammo was gone 2nd guns are mostly gone 3rd will be mags get them b4 it’s 2 late !! I stocked up on plenty of mags already

I've owned all the handguns ( still have some like the 2 Glocks ) except for the HK's. I can see an HK in my future though. If I could have one back it would definitely be the older Gold Cup. I have to shed a small tear when I think what I sold it for.
