    bought my hi point 995 for cheap, sold for double during the gun rush a few years ago, it shot great , miss it, but replaced with a CX4 Storm, maybe the most underrated PCC made.

    Great video, as always.
    One slight correction, the British used the Lanchester submachine gun (not the Lancaster SMG)... the Lancaster was a heavy bomber.

      Yes good catch! Freudian slip. Thanks for the correction and thanks for watching!

    I discovered the cz82 about 4 months ago when my friend bought one and I had to buy one. next thing you know a cz83 found it's way into my holster pushing the old Walther pps gen 1 out. what a phenomenal little gun

    The Sig P245 seems similar to the Beretta 8045 MiniCougar. Heavy, 6 rd mag (+ an 8 rd extended mag with additional grip length). I have the Beretta, I’d like to put it next to the Sig for fun.

    VERY informative! Great video! ....ps. The people that badmouth Hi-Point have never owned a Hi-Point. I have a few of their pistols, and they are flawless in firing. People like to "parrot" negative things about these guns because they have no experience of their own. -- For the money, Hi-Point is the BEST pistol on the planet. If you don't trust it to function or last; BUY TWO!! Yu'll be able to afford them!

    Awesome stuff as always!! Love the history,you almost did it in this video but you should do a video or series on the history of sub-guns or PCC’s seeing as there so popular today.think you could do that video really well the way you do the history storyline of guns.any way keep up the awesome!

    I'd think by now hi point has made enough money that they could come out with a new, updated, or redesigned product. I'm not necessarily interested in buying, but I'd like to see it happen.

    In late 2019 my favorite gun store had a 1st gen Hi-Point 995. I though on it that night and went back the next day to buy it. I was told it sold at closing time the day before. I'm pretty sure the salesman I educated about the gun bought it, but, the store wouldn't confirm or deny that.

    • @DoubleOddJosh

      What's so great about the first generation 995?

    • @brianshuler6951
      @brianshuler6951 2 роки тому +1

      @@DoubleOddJosh The action, trigger, and barrel are functionally the same in both models. The furniture on the first gen is "retro" and the gen 2 is more "tactical". The weight is a little different, butt and forestock have a different feel. The first gen is more rare these days, if that matters to anyone. For the most part, it is just style and fit preference.

    The Hi-Point carbines are horribly underrated. They get a lot more grief than they should and the only people that seem to hate on them are those that can afford a Kriss Vector or three without batting an eye. Not everyone can spend $2,000 on a gun like its picking up a gallon of milk from the grocery store.
