Just watched Justine video and popped over to see what your ideas were like. I'm sure glad I did! so far the first two I've never seen before, and they're amazing. I'm so glad she posted the link. Great job, and thanks so much for sharing! 💕👍
** Edit**(I should have waited to comment until I watched all of the video! They just keep getting better and better!)
The mono printing with packing tape is my favourite, it's also a new one for me, or rather the packing tape part.
OMG....I have gel plates that I've never used because I couldn't figure out how. You have ROCKED MY WORLD with that technique. Also never wound have thought to use the stamps on torn paper. This is gonna be a GREAT weekend of play for me. Glad to met you.
I have been crafting and making cards for over 20 years and I’ve noticed that as we learn new techniques or new styles of cards we forget the older ones, I have literally started redoing my old techniques and styles and modernising them a bit and having great fun. Love this video.😍😍
Wow!! The tape on the jelly plate trick is incredible!! Turns out so beautiful!!
Thanks! What fun getting to visit with you again!
You are a genius, my friend! Thanks for collaborating with me. Love you! I adore that faux torn paper. I've never done that! Your camera angles are also awesome! I Well I love all the techniques to be honest. I forgot about them all and now I have new video ideas!
I love the tape on gel plate, kissing technique, and the torn paper technique!
After watching several videos and seeing see brushes, I found some at a local store and have gone crazy with my brass, metal and plastic stencils....oh my what fun and to get to use my hundreds of tiny brass stencils again after so many years. Love your technique reminders...thanks for sharing!!!
Kathlene, do you adhere your stencils to the paper so they don't bleed under? If so, what do you use? (I see Y.T. vids of people using Distress Ink blending through stencils and am astounded that that technique seems NOT to bleed under!) Thanks for your input.
thank you for showing us how you 'fixed' a mistake :) i often just throw away and start again! this helps me save a project
This really got my creative juices going!!! Loved the kiss technique and your wonderful use of stensils! Will be needing more of those!!!
Love the faux torn paper technique! Quick & no mess!
This is the most fun! I had to stop the video and try the kissing technique right away. I had that exact heart stamp and Doodle Garden Background by Catherine Pooler. It was amazing! Thank you!

You're so right! I've tried all of these techniques before and while I loved them at the time, I forget to go back and try them again. Thanks for helping me get creatively unblocked!
I love seeing you use the stencils and the gelli plates, I have both but rarely pull them out! Also the heat embossing tips!
Lol before I actually watched either video I saw Justines title too and was so bewildered that 2 people would be doing the same topic the same day... within hours of each other... and then I watched the video and it was all explained... I'm a dork sometimes lol. Great tips and I learned something new which is always excellent time spent. Thanks for sharing.

Wow Ingrid, I loved all the techniques but I think my favourite was the one with the gel plate and the strips of tape. That was so effective on the card xx

Love this, will try...
This is my first time visiting your channel from Justine Hovey's channel and I'm about to nose dive into your videos as a new subscriber as well. I really liked everything! I didn't know that the Versamark could just be left alone on colored cardstock and dry with a deeper shade. I thought that it would just dry clear. Lol And I really liked the multiple ways you showed how to use stencils/stamps. Thank you and have a blessed, crafty day!
Thank you for all the great tips for those of us who make cards.
I loved the faux teared paper technique

I have never done any of these! They're all new to me! I always wondered what a gelly plate was for! 😁
@@IngridBlackburn oh I love them! I'm filling an eBay basket as we speak... 😁😁😁
@@IngridBlackburn unfortunately I can't get things you've linked... I am in England and the postage alone would be enough for me to buy a small studio!!! 😂😂😂 I have tons of acrylic paint anyway, and the wide tape; as I bought a tape gun offer at Christmas and still have 8 rolls left! Just needed the brayer, a gelly plate and some more stencils really... And a few other bits that caught my eye lol! Xxxxx
I love the tip about heating embossing powder from the back first. I've been scrapbooking for almost 25 years and that's one I've never heard! New subscriber, thanks so much! I'm teaching a card making class to our homeschool co-op kids this semester.
Love these techniques. Thank you!
I am going to have to watch this video over and over. So love the gel press mono printing - I have so many stamps I want to use to create mono prints on the tape... and thanks for the tips to save a project when versa mark ink hits the wrong spot on the paper!

Great ideas Ingrid! My favourite, only because I need knew this title tip, and it will save me so much wasted everything is.... the tip that you gave us with honour snowman,. I never knew that tip about only inking up the part of the stamp that you missed. It's like duh! I should have known that because it makes perfect sense, but I did not. Thanks! And I loved the idea with the gel plate and the tape. So neat!
Great video - my faves are the "kissing" and the geli plate prints!
