For the first technique you showed - I’ve actually done the opposite. I have a ton of watercolors, but relatively few ink pad colors. So I’ve brushed on some watercolor paint over my stamps and stamped them. Turned out pretty decent!
Your water stamping hello card was absolutely amazing! 👏👏 Lining up the hello with the second ombré impression was brilliant. I also loved the shadow stamping card! Loved everything about it - the colors, the cardstock, the sentiment - LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Congrats on 100 videos! I've been a subscriber for awhile now and really enjoy all your videos!! 😘💖 Cheers from Canada! 🇨🇦
Oldie but goodie techniques that we seem to forget because there are always new ones out there that want to be experimented with...these are awesome and I LOVE the off set stamping!! Easy peasy and can mass produce in no time...you could even do several cards with the same stamp set and do all five techniques. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for this lovely tutorial this collaboration is seems like it is a magical treat for the viewer. I get the feeling that if the two of you would meet and pool that divine creativity together the outcome would be beyond majestic.. each one of you are richly gifted and very talented but sometimes two creative people can trigger each other and reach heights no one even knew existed,
GREAT techniques chickie!!! LOVED LOVED LOVED your projects. That flip top lid annoys me too, but not enough to switch...lol. CONGRATS on your 100th video!!! BIG milestone. 😘😍🎨🖌
At 17:00 ... W O W !!! That was a TOTALLY A M A Z I N G effect!!! (that the stamped image on the "hello" so perfectly aligned with the stamped image below!!) My heart just sinks when I let rise the thought that these very special works of ART / E N G I N E E R I N G (!!!) will some day end up in a landfill. Although my endeavors don't EVEN compare to most examples on these vids, I have ceased signing my cards in any permanent way; instead I enclose a note telling the recipient it WAS made especially for them, but that they should feel free to "gift it on" so as to keep from "contributing to a landfill".
Hi Jenny, just found your channel. I love your ideas. I have subscribed and rang the bell !!!! Looking forward to more videos. these cards are stunning xx
Thank you. Loved your ideas and yes, that flip lid on the Versafine is totally annoying. I get so much ink on my fingers and it almost adds an extra step.
I'm a devil for making a card, then thinking, why didn't I do this technique or that technique. So easy to forget them. I love shadow stamping 😊 I loved Justine's video collaboration last year & am thrilled she has done it again. 😊❤
Gah, Jenny! I looooove your videos!! You always share the best ideas, and there are definitely some favorites here that I must get back to using again! Thanks so much for being such an inspiring, wonderful person. Sending you a million hugs xoxo
for yrs. i did web design, im only explaining not for customers for supplies donations for offline crafts like urs and others, i have bought alot but it adds up after a while, i started the offline scrapbook for my grandbaby not for commercial. thanks
Great cards ! I had forgotten some of these! I tend to get in a rut.... ya relate? Thank you for sharing. Congrats on #100! I always enjoy your videos so much! Blessings to you and stay well! 💕🙋♀️
I can't say it any better than Lane (comment directly below). The hello card was my fav of the bunch. I love 2 for 1 cards anyway, but that one was just spectacular! Its funny how these techniques have been around *forever* but we all continuously forget them!!! 🙄I need to spend a day making backgrounds. Although whenever I do that I have trouble figuring out how to make them into cards. If you have any ideas, I'd love a video explaining your design ideas for when to add just a sentiment strip, when to die cut it, when to use a large sentiment die, etc. I have a ton of stenciled and ink blended backgrounds that never seem to work with images I've stamped!
I've JUST found the Altenew over sized word stamp n dies. I'm Very hopeful, I csn budget a few in. As well as a couple background stamps, and sentiment set from LDRS... is Rather cute... this video, 100! I've become a subscriber. Thank you for sharing
thanks for the techniques we do often forget, please forgive me I can't find the sentiments you referenced using? I was fortunate enough to get the ORNATE BACKGROUND stamp and I love it ...
OMG this is the first time I heard someone complain about the versafine lid, I FIND IT MEGA ANOYING TOO!! Tried to separate the lid, but that makes it even harder, cause it doesn't close properly now 😫🤬🙈 ANOYING!! But it makes me feel better, now that i'm not the only one, thx!

Start off the paper when blending your inks to avoid getting a dark spot!
