I am so HERE for this. I thought it would be sped up to the point of me mumbling. OH MY GRACIOUS...instead, I was treated to a class I should have to pay for...(Now, don't go getting any ideas.) Thank you so very much. This will keep me busy for... at least the weekend. Okay, who am I kidding...the rest of the year!
It's never too late to review all of the types of folds. This video was one of the most clear and succinct in my many years of crafting cards. Thank you so much from a veteran card maker!
Z fold was my favorite. I've made them before, but I always start from scratch. How much easier to start with an accurate card blank! Love that you get 2 for 1 also.
Thank you for this tutorial, simply for the measurements! Even though I have been crafting cards for many years it doesn’t hurt to be reminded of all of the ‘fun’ card shapes we can create with a little imagination - and of course remembering 😂. Thanks again Sandy 🌸
This is an amazing vid on card types for beginners; Amy was so calm as she explained them,WoW!! Thank you, #TeamAltenew!! 💜🥰🤩👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 My fav: Z-Fold Tri-fold cards, as you get 2 scored cards out of the process!❤
I really liked the aperture card. It's great to be able to hide something cute on the inside. Thank you for putting all the different ways to fold cards in one place!
There is just something about a Z-fold trifold card that I really like. I think it is all the layers compared to more traditional cardfolds. So that is my favorite😊
I have always been partial to card styles that have movement. Whether it be an aperture, spinner or shaker. I must say that I am now going to try the tri-fold book style. Thank you. 😊
Thank you for this video! I'm new to card making and this really helped me with some projects I'm working. I'm using the gate fold to make wedding invitations for my friends.💙 I've hand made brochures and a few other things in college, but it's ben a while and I couldn't remember all the fold techniques.
Great tutorial! I have made many of these folded cards but I usually create a top fold. Thank you for detailing so many options in one concise video. This is an excellent source of instruction & inspiration. 💙
My favorite is the gate card. But to be truthful there are so many I haven’t tried and with this detailed “class” video I will be trying all of them. Thank you for providing all of us such an amazing tutorial.
Great tips! I love and use all of these folds when card making, but I love a beautifully decorated gatefold card all the time! But a good slimline card is a lot of fun too! Thank you!
This is hard.... I love all the fun folds.... but if I had to choose, I think I would have to choose the "Simple Stepper Card" and the "Gatefold" ... Thank you so much for sharing this.... I have to save in my Card Fun Folds folder....
I'm a pretty basic card maker and rely on the standard side fold cards most of the time, but I'd like to try the easel card. Great quick guide for card folds, thanks!
This is a great tutorial for beginners and a good reminder for those who have been crafting awhile. I did like the Aperature, spinner card, as have not done one of those.
Great and informative video!! Thank you! My go to is usually a side fold or top fold, but I really love making gate fold cards. The possibilities are endless for ways to close them. I've been playing with die cuts that will allow interlocking pieces to make them close. It's been fun learning what will work and what won't!
Very well done. I need to be reminded of all the great options out there. I love the surprise of an aperture card, but your gatefold options were terrific. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Wow! What a fantastic video, thank you SO much 😊! I enjoyed that you took your time and explained everything step by step without rushing. This is a great reminder of all the fun folds that there is to make!
Great tutorial! It’s a good reminder how easy it is to change up a basic card. I liked the z-fold tri fold card. I want to do one of those with a scene. Thanks for the great explanations with measurements.
Hello from Clifton Park, NY. I really only make the basic card folds. Now with this video, I will try the rest. I like the Aperture card. Wow, you make that one so easy. I will give it a try.
I normally make tags, and for cards, I make 3”x3” note cards. I really like the Z-fold Tri-fold card version. I’d like to try it as it makes double use out of the paper like the 3” notecards, and I think it would be a bit more challenging when it comes to coordinating the embellishments and paper on the different sides.
I love watching your videos. I'm new to card making and have learned so many things from your channel. It is so hard for me to pick my favorite. Since I'm new and all. But thank you for the education love your channel ❤❤❤❤
There are many nice cards in this video, but if I have to choose I'd pick either the gatefold one or the z-fold card. Will be saving this for future use 👍
What a great video! I started stamping/card-making in 1995 and have never tried some of these folds. My favorite fold is still the Top-fold; it’s just so versatile. Thank you!
Hi!, my favourite type of card to make is the Z fold card! Your video and instructions are so easy to follow, I wrote everything down for a reference for me to follow, and I will refer back to watch the video again for all your decorating ideas! Thanks, Joan
Love them all, but interactive and fun fold cards make my heart happy, so the shaker, shaped, die cut window stepper, trifold, the gate fold and spinner, easel, etc… are my favorites! 🫣I am warming up to slim cards…Thank you Amy and Lydia for sharing!
Thank you SO much for this video!! I tend you just make the same style of card over & over.Tgid opens up a whole new world of card making fun for me❤❤ Have subscribed, thanks again!
This is such a cool video. Thank you for sharing. It would also be great to see a “technique series”of videos that could be saved in one place. Thank you for listening! 😊
I think the Z-Fold Trifold card is so cool looking, but I feel like it would be hard for me to come up with a way to decorate it lol! I usually only make A2 side folding or top folding, but I may have to give a couple of these others a try!
I loved the last card. So simple and there's a lot of things that you as a maker can do to enhance the card. I'll definitely be making this card today 😀! ❤
I love making easel cards. My grandma loves them because she likes to display her cards and she finds them to be the best for that.
It's never too late to review all of the types of folds. This video was one of the most clear and succinct in my many years of crafting cards. Thank you so much from a veteran card maker!
Great demonstration! I love that you took the time to really explain what to do! 😊😊😊
Z fold was my favorite. I've made them before, but I always start from scratch. How much easier to start with an accurate card blank! Love that you get 2 for 1 also.
Was explained so well it made it easy to understand. Voice was also soothing.
I love the Slimline Card because it has more room for your creativity. 🦄
Thank you for this tutorial, simply for the measurements! Even though I have been crafting cards for many years it doesn’t hurt to be reminded of all of the ‘fun’ card shapes we can create with a little imagination - and of course remembering 😂. Thanks again Sandy 🌸
Watching the replay from Palm Bay FL. This is a fantastic video. My favorite is the tri fold z fold card. So fun. TFS😊
Thank you so very much for the step by step instructions on making the different card shapes.
To make a traditional card base I score the whole length at 4 1/4 and then rotate to cut at 5 1/2. Score once, cut once and done ❤
I really liked how you had all the folds in one place. My favorite is the appetite card.
I love easel cards. Always wanted to try a z fold card. Will be trying that. Thanks
This is an amazing vid on card types for beginners; Amy was so calm as she explained them,WoW!! Thank you, #TeamAltenew!! 💜🥰🤩👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I wish I had seen this video 10 years ago so I would know how to do all these cards! Fantastic tutorial! Thank you! ❤

I have always been partial to card styles that have movement. Whether it be an aperture, spinner or shaker. I must say that I am now going to try the tri-fold book style. Thank you. 😊
I tend to make top and side folding the most but love a gatefold with belly band!
I love a good trifold with a window on the front. I like the way a z-fold looks, but I’ve never actually made one. I think I’ll try it!
Loved that y’all did this! So very helpful. Thanks 😊 Hard to say which one is my favorite but I do kinda like the spinner! 😊
I am new to cardmaking. I love all the ways you have shown to make cards in this video. Thanks so much!!

Thanks for the tutorial with clear measurements for cutting and scoring! Time to utilize different folds to “shape” up my cards!
Thanks for doing this great summary of different card folds and shapes! My favorites are shaped and aperture, but I really want to try the Z-fold.
Great tips! I love and use all of these folds when card making, but I love a beautifully decorated gatefold card all the time! But a good slimline card is a lot of fun too! Thank you!

I've only done a few, but I do like the look of the slimline cards. So simple!
I mainly make five by sevens cards, but I really like the alternatives . I like the Z card you made the most.
Great and informative video!! Thank you! My go to is usually a side fold or top fold, but I really love making gate fold cards. The possibilities are endless for ways to close them. My favorite card fold is #5 Aperture card...I will definitely be trying to make one. Thanks for the video.
The cards that I do the most are the standard cards, but my favorite are the slimline or the easel cards.
Love this video so much! I often forget about all of the different shaped cards to make. Thank you! ❤
