1.Tyres.... 2.Slip on exhaust(minimum).... 3.öhlins/aftermarket suspension (standard suspension is far too slack for anyone above 100Ibs).... 4.Clutch upgrade.... 5.Re-gearing 🤘
+Jam53ice Yes I've used the R&G's on a previous bike too - they are very neat, work well and are surprisingly cheap - nothing not to like there! Thanks for stopping by - all the best - TMF
Hi TMF I have Yoshi system, EJK, air box mods, 13/42 sprockets. I agree the exhaust is my No 1 mod done alongside the above mods. A close 2nd for me is to change the stock clutch with CBR250RR plates and uprated springs from EBC. Get rid of that judder spring. For a couple of hours work and about £100 it's well worth it. Keep up the good work.
Thanks to you, I found out the place where I run out of gas last Saturday hahaha. Lovely people around there, a motorbiker give me a ride to the patrol station to get a fuel can and bike to my bike :)
I have one Triumph I know you don't and never will own: A 2011 Thunderbird Storm .... I saw your vid with a viewer's red Thunderbird 1600! When I bought all these bikes I mentioned, even though I had been watching your channel for years, It never entered my mind I was filling my stable with the same bikes as yours. Funny ol' world:) Stay well Yuval
Fair enough TMF, I expect your get a test ride on one though, be interesting to hear your thoughts, compared to your L. From what I've read, it's got more power, bigger fuel tank, bigger front brake, upgraded forks, more ground clearance (but this makes seat height higher), more comprehensive instrument panel and switchable rear ABS on/off. I'm considering one, but will test ride it first. I'm 5 11, so seat height won't be an issue for me. I like the added screen for road work and bigger tank, but I also really like the look of the bike.
I recently bought a triumph street triple , great bike came with quick shift , arrow exhaust etc only add on ive done are heated grips and ext the fly sceen . I agree with you on the top5 list I am looking for a second bike , like a CRF250Ls as its day/night road legal inc indicators. ideal winter and wet days (most days) , green lane mud fun bike and supposed to be good on road to , I heard that a after market exhaust is a must on the CRF250L.
Great video sir, I just bought a 2020 CRF250L and it's just fine as is it has a bigger exhaust the tyres are good on dirt and road it has ABS and the new twin-spark, I'm a happy camper no need to play around with it- so if I didn't see the reviews on youtube i was going to get the new Kawasaki and the Honda came out the winner.I'm watching from Australia, stay safe from this COVID-19 I'm trying to set up a camera on the bike try and do a review myself.
+TheFanaticalFan These are accessories - if you want CRF mods check out my other videos in this playlist ;0) ua-cam.com/play/PL_719tkJvufZW59HANCu2VtrACsEeQmK4.html Exciting times waiting for a new bike - enjoy!
Hey TMF, first off all, great vids (all of them). For me, a great add-on for the CRF250L, (and it would be my nr. 2 in a top 5) is a K&N airfilter. The powerboost is very noticable. Some small reprogramming in de EJK, and you'll gain an extra handfull of HP's. I did it on mine, in combination with FMF line (megabomb + Q4).
Funny you should mention that (see my latest video!) - What settings are you using on the EJK, did you make a note as I could do with adjusting mine (sounds like we have the same mods)???
When I'm able to add a second bike in my garage it will most likely be a duel sport like your Honda. Though I really want to have a BMW and Triumph as well.
the true is the stock tires are not that bad as they say, you just need to wear them out a bit and they start to behave much better on dirt. To that point better I kept them. It takes some time to get use though, definitely not a beginner off-road tires. Good comment on ejk module, I don't think it's needed as well. EFI should compensate for mods. I am surprised though you didn't notice much change from 13t front sprocket for off-road use as everybody are saying should help. I didn't do it yet myself so maybe I'll reconsider. Thanks for the video.
+Enduro Riders Thanks for the comment Enduro Riders - I imagine most of my issue with the stock tyres is that I'm a rubbish off-road rider!!! All the best - TMF
I have full yoshi and no air box mods and no EFI yet! Runs great, no issues but then I don’t use it that much but do give a good run now and again. I will do air box mod soon. It sounds raw!! Lol K&N will be ordered now!
Hi TMF, Well done. Another interesting and informative video - ever thought about a job with a motorcycle magazine!!?? Have fitted my GS radiator guards back on - no difference in temp readings, so leaving them on permanently now, rather than get a stone hit and have to fork out money on a new rad! Look forward to the next one. Kind regards, Jon.
+JLO Staff Hi again JLO Staff - thanks for your kind words....and no I haven't but would love one! ....thanks for letting me know about that, I might stick mine back on then if I get some spare time....cheers again for the kind words as ever - all the best, TMF
I have been watching your channel, here in Vancouver, for a few years now. A strange thing happened today.....AGAIN. I bought a CRF 250L. I went to check out some vids and guess who has one....you. This happened about a year ago when I bought my Triumph Tiger 1050. Two months before the Tiger, I purchased a 2012 Triumph Street Triple R. Noticing a pattern here? I'm not buying a Ducati!! I'm originally from Chester-le-Street, near Newcastle, so there must be some strange English thing going on here!!!! Anyway, thought it was funny. I really enjoy your channel. Say hello to Chops for me. I like his channel also. Cheers Yuval
Thanks for the video mate... I rode street bikes for years and now going to make my first steps on a dirt bike, and your video gave me lots of stuff to think about... Could you kindly tell me fhe full list of mods you made? Cheers!
Thanks MF! I am actually editing my "CRF250L accessories" video right now where I tell folks what I have done to my CRF so far and what I have planned! :D What a coincidence heheh! I may have to steal this idea and highlight my favorite accessories later when I put down more miles! And thank you for mentioning the tires, as a new rider I couldn't figure out why I was struggling so much in the muck and mud off road...I think the stock tires have been a hindrance to my off road learning for sure - time to switch them out! Cheers!
I’ve been riding since I was little and dirtbike tires wear out really quick. On my 230 no matter what tiRes I could see a difference after each day of riding and that was only off road. You don’t realize how much the rear spins off-road.
Hi, had a test ride on a crf yesterday and loved it but I would have to change that stock exhaust straight away. I love the look and sound of the fmf system you have on your bike, can you just bolt the system on without altering anything else or would you need to play with the fuelling or airbox?
...yes the FMF not only sounds great but really gives the bike a power boost too, transforms it....and yes the fuelling should be changed, I have a gadget (a jet something or other - it's in my videos) to do just that, like a power commander....
I'm 17 and looking to get a bike for college. I've never ridden a motorcycle but I've wanted to get one for a while. I want to have a cheap bike that can go on and off-road but also one I won't get bored with once my skills increase since I plan on using this bike all the way through college. I also plan on doing some performance mods such as an exhaust mod along with other minor mods. Would the crf250l be a good bike for me considering I am going to mod it?
Yes - the CRF HAS to be modded - see my modifications in this playlist >> ua-cam.com/play/PL_719tkJvufZW59HANCu2VtrACsEeQmK4.html otherwise it's very SSSLLLOOOWW - good luck and thanks for watching!
Hi TMF, now you've had this bike for 2 years, will you be looking at trading upto the new CRF250 Rally? Looks really interesting and some worthy upgrades to the CRF250L.
As far as I can see it's mainly cosmetic and a bit of ride height isn't it? I actually prefer the look of the L over the Rally and find it quite tall as it is!! So no, I'm sticking with the CRF 250L for now.....
+Vermont Dualsport Yes I used to suffer unexplained engine stopping but since the starter relay recall (that affected a number of the smaller Hondas) I don't seem to have had the problem again.....Thanks for stopping by, all the best - TMF
I may be a little late to comment on this video, but where did you get that bar pad? I can't seem to find the classic looking HONDA pad w/o the wing logo for my CRF250L. Thanks.
Hi Ryan, glad to see my back catalogue still getting an airing! I got that pad from E-Bay, it was a while ago so gawd knows if they're still available....
Hi, Just received my set of R&G heated grips but the instructions make no reference to how to install with an ignition feed. Can you advise where you spliced into your electrics to get them setup this way ? Cheers
I can't I'm afraid, I had my local motorcycle garage fit them for me (as I thought it may be tricky!)....sorry! They are worth it once you get them on though if that encourages you to keep at it! ;0)
No worries, may well do the same as even R&G themselves can offer no advice, so it's clearly a job for someone with a good electrical knowledge. Cheers ;-)
TheMissendenFlyer - Have enjoyed all your reviews, also the sharing of the various details of products. I thought you had better think about your video captures in future as you are very much over the legal speed limit in this video a number of times, 42 mph. In a 30 zone is not good eh?! Hopefully this is a private communication as I'm not computer media savvi... Please accept this observation as friendly advice... I'd hate to see you being convicted by your own admission. Keep up the good work..most enjoyable and informative. regards Tony
+Ianc C Yes it was mail order from the US - don't recall paying any import duty but it was a while ago and my memory is sketchy!! Thanks for the kind words - all the best - TMF
Sorry, I know this is an old vid but recently you’ve added a top box - did that fit onto the rack you have in this vid or did it require a new one? And did the box need a mounting plate? Cheers and thanks, as ever, for your great vids.
Silicon Radiator Hoses are designed to tolerate nearly double the heat capacity of the factory rubber hoses which can fail over time in the form of cracking, breaking or 'ballooning'. These hoses are made up of layers of silicon and a heat resistant fiber that is embedded in it which prevents the said failures. They are relatively cheap too, going for about 30 GBP on ebay (CRF250L). They are direct OEM replacement so they are already fitted for a specific bike. Cheers!
Oh by the way, because of constantly watching your videos I finally decided to get a CRF250L. I'm slowly working my way up the mods you put on it (especially the FMF Full Exhaust system). Keep the videos coming and more riding power to you TMF!
Hi Missendenflyer, great videos, did you do a video on fitting your hand guards to the CRF 250, I 've just bought a similar set and there are no destructions!! TIA
I know you also have the ad tek sump guard as I saw it on another install video but wondered if you bothered with a radiator guard, can only seem to find ones from America and not much talk about them?
+thommw The E-Bay item description was "Honda CRF250M CRF250 Rear Luggage Rack Carrier Cargo Rack 2013 2014 2015" but I just had a look and see it's no longer available.... :0(
+Peter Gunton Actually Peter it's surprisingly comfortable, and the narrowness means you can get your feet to the floor on what is a tall bike....having said that I've never ridden it on a very long journey....cheers for watching as ever - TMF
5300km - 2nd rear tire (1st was stock) is got about 1500km left on it - stock front tire - i ride hard tho and the rear is a maxxis crosspower tire i think
i havent used them - iv just got a maxxis on the back - good for around town and the bush except when its really really wet - then it can be hard to get traction and be a bit slidey lol
What are the stock tires (brand/model)? What are you replacing them with? How about the skid plate, figured that would make your list. Are you not loving it or just havent had a chance to run up against a big rock yet? ;)
+Jim Goddard The stock tyres are some weird OEM type things - not sure what I'll replace them with but there a lots of good options out there from the main manufacturers it seems. And yeah, forgot about the skid plate - that can be number 7 on my list!
+TheMissendenFlyer My WRR was fitted with Trial Wings which arent that great off-road. Im just now at the point where I can swap them out and have narrowed my choices to the Shinko 244 or Michelin T63. Like you I need good road handling to get me to my off-road 'adventures'.So having something that wears well on the road would be good but it must also handle wellish in the dirt. Would really like to know what you wind up replacing your OEM tires with and how you like them over time.
+Jim Goddard Im slow...so whats #6 if the skid plate is #7? :) I think your love for the skid plate will grow as you get into rockier venues. :) It only takes one good hit to fall in love with your skid plate. :)
+TheMissendenFlyer You're not slow - in a previous comment I mentioned the GPS holder at no 6 - so was just being consistent (I don't expect you to read all the comments AND watch my videos!!) :0)
TheMissendenFlyer thanks for the speedy reply. I couldn't see a UK site so was curios. Would you reccomend any other brands now that you've done it or stick with the FMF?
+such is life I have a rear rack, hand guards and a sump guard and went for the FMF exhaust as you know - but for me, despite all that stuff, the heated grips are what make me ride the CRF in winter - great accessory in my opinion....I do accept you may not agree!
Tyres are "dirt" cheap. Get 'em changed! 😀 Do you feel the heat from that fat megabomb? I was looking at the powerbomb, because most reviews I've read suggest the difference between low end and top end isn't actually that appreciable, but the big plus is that you can fit the stock heatguard to the powerbomb.
+Len Scapoff Very good Len.....and no I don't feel the heat off of the Megabomb but it does tend to melt your trousers! :0) Good to hear from you again, hope all is well?
Indeed, yes, thank you. Are you being serious about the trouser melting? I had read of it as a potential issue, but wasn't sure if in practice it remained "potential".
Your rear luggage rack you said you bought on ebay. How much weight do you think the rack can take; 50 Kgs? What make or is it a private guy making them?
hi m8, your vids are great, love them. I want to get a motorbike but knowhere to keep it. have steps going up to my house. would I get the crf up them? 10 steps roughly 45° angle(without riding it up them and through front door :)
Bike sounds lovely, mine sounds like a cross between a jackhammer and a box of spanners will have to see how much insurance company want if I fit an Akrapovic.
+TheMissendenFlyer KTM 690 Enduro R, standard exhaust, its not too bad really, my first single cylinder bike, I will get it run in properly then look at an exhaust.
+The Mad Scouse No such thing as a silly question - hand guards are all a standard size, you just need to make sure you get a set that fit your particular model of bike. If you can't get a specific one then you may be able to get a generic fit....good luck! - TMF
+fukthegoog I don't know where the crf250l speed is from every time I go up the gravel road I live on if you get on it hard the rear wheel will spin and speedo goes up
BASHPLATE?? ;) i had the Abramovich with powerbomb before...uninstalled and sold it...too noisy ... I ride a open chopper too but a 250 just dont sounds good only loud, just my 2 cents.. Bashplate is much more important, but ok where we live we dont need heated handgrips...so still 5 :D
TheMissendenFlyer ive modded the snot out of it, if you ride with anyone who has pretty much ANY other DS, you'll be playing chase your pals all day.. If I had to do it over again I'd have simply bought a Yamaha wr250
can you do without the EJK ? don't mind spending the money or even if the thing works or not, just concerned about engine damage or excessive wear. great vids and reviews
+Noel Lehane Thanks Noel, I was the same, if you run without the EJK I believe you could risk longer term damage to the engine due to incorrect stoichiometric mix. I'm no engineer but I didn't want to risk it....
+TheMissendenFlyer if that's the case it's a no brainer. loved the air box mod you did, very simple but very professional finish. I'm currently think of sizing down to a CRF250 M (black with gold wheels) from and 850cc as I believe there's great fun to be had on a smaller cc. only concern is the 7.7 l tank. keep up the excellent reviews & take care on the roads this summer.
1.Tyres.... 2.Slip on exhaust(minimum).... 3.öhlins/aftermarket suspension (standard suspension is far too slack for anyone above 100Ibs).... 4.Clutch upgrade.... 5.Re-gearing 🤘

I use the R&G Heated grips on my bike and they do make a hell of a difference, even with thicker gloves on.
+Jam53ice Yes I've used the R&G's on a previous bike too - they are very neat, work well and are surprisingly cheap - nothing not to like there! Thanks for stopping by - all the best - TMF
Hi TMF
I have Yoshi system, EJK, air box mods, 13/42 sprockets.
+Double Downies Thank you DD - I'd not heard of that clutch mod before, gets me thinking......
You‘re so right with the front tyre.. It‘s a nice tyre but for offroad there are better ones.. it loses grip very quickly.
Thanks to you, I found out the place where I run out of gas last Saturday hahaha. Lovely people around there, a motorbiker give me a ride to the patrol station to get a fuel can and bike to my bike :)
+Gerculy Robert Excellent - glad it all worked out for you!
I have one Triumph I know you don't and never will own: A 2011 Thunderbird Storm .... I saw your vid with a viewer's red Thunderbird 1600! Another great video, I've gone for a K&N filter as well. Only had the bike a week and loving it
+Epsom-Enthusiast Great stuff - they are a hoot aren't they :0) Ride safe.....

Fair enough TMF, I expect your get a test ride on one though, be interesting to hear your thoughts, compared to your L. I recently bought a triumph street triple , great bike

I am looking for a second bike , like a CRF250Ls as its day/night road legal inc indicators.
ideal winter and wet days (most days) , green lane mud fun bike and supposed to be good on road to , I heard that a after market exhaust is a must on the CRF250L.
Yes for sure - without the mods the CRF will feel very slooooow after the Street Triple (see my other vids for details!) - cheers, TMF

+Conner Wilson Cheers Conner - appreciate the kind words, go and get yourself one, they're great fun!
+TheMissendenFlyer thx
Great list, I'm thinking about buying one, good work!
+Victor Todea Glad you liked it Victor - I have plenty of other CRF videos if you're doing some research, have you seen those?
Yes, I've spent all night watching most of your videos, i really like the green lane trips!
+Victor Todea Aha! Good man :0) ...and well done for getting through 'em - more soon.....TMF

I would of said gps find some green lanes on the go! Although I'm not sure that's a CRF accessory more like a universal attachment
+itsthatguyagain98 Yes I agree - maybe no 6 on my list! :0)

Great review ! I want buy this bike and yours ideas for accessories are very good, you give trust in it...
See you soon from... France ! Bye
They are great bikes Oliver, it's never let me down and still going strong!
Great channel 😊I might have missed it but what handguards did you put on
They're actually KTM compatible ones from E-Bay - a generic type thing.....
Are we going to see anymore of the Panigale now it's starting to warm up? Keep up the good work!
+HarriR09 'Course you will HariR09, as soon as I get some time and decent weather the baby Duke will be firing up again....looking forward to it!

Hopefully this is a private communication as I'm not computer media savvi... Please accept this observation as friendly advice... I'd hate to see you being convicted by your own admission. Keep up the good work..most enjoyable and informative. regards Tony
7:03 That white vehicle scared me a bit. Good video.
Yes, he did look like he might pop out of that side road! Glad he didnt't!! Thanks for your kind words and for stopping by, all the best - TMF
very interesting, great video
+George Illing Thank you George - appreciate your kind comments as ever....TMF
Good vid again, thanks & keep em coming. Just put on a vid of first ride out on the new bike if your interested. Cheers Karl.
+k4rloGSer Thanks Karl - that new bike of yours looks gorgeous!
+TheMissendenFlyer thanks for that, yes agree bike looks great.... Real eye catcher 👍
nice one on the vids keep them comming, where did you get the fmf exhaust and megabomb header, was it from the us. if so what was the taxes ect
+Ianc C Yes it was mail order from the US - don't recall paying any import duty but it was a while ago and my memory is sketchy!! Thanks for the kind words - all the best - TMF
What camera are you using? Thanks for the video share. Spot on.
Just an old GoPro HD Hero 2.....glad you like it!
Sorry, I know this is an old vid but recently you’ve added a top box - did that fit onto the rack you have in this vid or did it require a new one? And did the box need a mounting plate? Cheers and thanks, as ever, for your great vids.
Yep fitted on this rack via a mounting plate that came via the "universal mounting top box"....
Do you have a link to the power bomb for the 2017 crf250l? I can’t seem to find the right one on google in the UK?
Hi TMF! A Merry Christmas to you! Have you ever considered replacing your radiator hoses with Silicon Type hoses?
No I haven't - what's the advantage? Merry Christmas to you too...
Cheers!
Thanks for the info - I'm not sure my CRF gets enough use to warrant them but I'll check 'em out none the less - cheers!
Oh by the way, because of constantly watching your videos I finally decided to get a CRF250L. I'm slowly working my way up the mods you put on it (especially the FMF Full Exhaust system). Keep the videos coming and more riding power to you TMF!
W'hey! The FMF is by far THE best mod, transforms the bike - enjoy and thanks for watching (sorry I cost you!!!)....
Hi Missendenflyer, great videos, did you do a video on fitting your hand guards to the CRF 250, I 've just bought a similar set and there are no destructions!! TIA
+Kim Brassington No I didn't, I had my local bike mechanic fit mine...sorry :0(
I know you also have the ad tek sump guard as I saw it on another install video but wondered if you bothered with a radiator guard, can only seem to find ones from America and not much talk about them?
I've not felt the need for a radiator guard hence why I haven't installed one....
Hi mate, get my CRF delivered next week, could u let me know the link to the rear rack if u get chance, cheers, GMAN
Congrats - and sorry don’t have a link :0( - eBay spesh...
Thanks for the nice video. Can you tell me the brand name of the luggage rack please, or even have the link to the eBay item? Cheers!
+thommw The E-Bay item description was "Honda CRF250M CRF250 Rear Luggage Rack Carrier Cargo Rack 2013 2014 2015" but I just had a look and see it's no longer available.... :0(
once again nice informative video, can't argue with your "hit parade" one question though how comfortable is the seat? looks a bit narrow. Bfn.
+Peter Gunton Actually Peter it's surprisingly comfortable, and the narrowness means you can get your feet to the floor on what is a tall bike....having said that I've never ridden it on a very long journey....cheers for watching as ever - TMF
5300km - 2nd rear tire (1st was stock)
is got about 1500km left on it - stock front tire - i ride hard tho and the rear is a maxxis crosspower tire i think
...any view on the Pirelli mt21's?? They seem to get good press....
i havent used them - iv just got a maxxis on the back - good for around town and the bush except when its really really wet - then it can be hard to get traction and be a bit slidey lol
...I guess eventually physics will take over whatever tyres you have on! Cheers - TMF
+TheMissendenFlyer yeah thanks - it seems good for now so ill stick to it for now - till its fully worn down lol
+TheMissendenFlyer
My WRR was fitted with Trial Wings which arent that great off-road.
+Jim Goddard ...the Michelin T63's are on my list of potential targets too - hear good things about them...
+TheMissendenFlyer You're not slow - in a previous comment I mentioned the GPS holder at no 6 - so was just being consistent (I don't expect you to read all the comments AND watch my videos!!) :0)
Did you add a fuel programmer to the bike with the fmf?
Yes I have the ejk jet controller....
Can I ask where you order your aftermarket parts from? Especially the exhaust system.
The exhaust was via FMF's website in the US direct....
TheMissendenFlyer thanks for the speedy reply. I couldn't see a UK site so was curios. Would you reccomend any other brands now that you've done it or stick with the FMF?
I'm very happy with the FMF......
how are heated grips are a top Accessory ? firstly get a yoshimura full system, get a rear rack, and hand guards, and a sump guard.....
+such is life I have a rear rack, hand guards and a sump guard and went for the FMF exhaust as you know - but for me, despite all that stuff, the heated grips are what make me ride the CRF in winter - great accessory in my opinion....I do accept you may not agree!
@@TheMissendenFlyer Heated vest keeps your central core warm.
TMF Barkbusters is brand of hand guards.
+Boodieman72 ....indeed it is.....
+Len Scapoff ..yes, it is a real issue - my megabomb has some black melted Dianese on it to prove it!
That won't have done your OCD any good (or the Dainese trousers). I think this is potential material for a further vid!
+Len Scapoff ...one for the lean winter period perhaps.....
Your rear luggage rack you said you bought on ebay.
How much weight do you think the rack can take; 50 Kgs?
What make or is it a private guy making them?
most rear racks are rated around 6 to 8 kilograms.
at 05:54 I want to install the heat protector, what is your recommendation. Thanks
Do it!
where are you driving, friend? The roads are scenic, so!
Buckinghamshire/Berkshire in the main - SE England....
cheers boss, ima still waiting for some cash to buy one of these. damn bills!!! anyway do you think a crf300l is coming?
+Jason C I doubt a CRF300L is coming but a kind of mini Africa Twin seems to be on the cards if the press is to be believed....
Thanks mate
Great little bike I am going to get on next year. I just wondered why you don't use this intro to your videos anymore ?
...because according to Google Analytics a third of my audience clicked away whilst it was running :0(
TheMissendenFlyer shame that I really enjoyed it. Never mind keep up with the videos.
hi m8, your vids are great, love them. I want to get a motorbike but knowhere to keep it. have steps going up to my house. would I get the crf up them? 10 steps roughly 45° angle(without riding it up them and through front door :)
That would be a pain - you could ride up but sounds dangerous to me....think you're stuck!!
:( I know, thanx for reply
Worth a try. video it.
Good video.
Thank you...
Bike sounds lovely, mine sounds like a cross between a jackhammer and a box of spanners will have to see how much insurance company want if I fit an Akrapovic.
+Martin What bike/can do you have Martin???
+TheMissendenFlyer KTM 690 Enduro R, standard exhaust, its not too bad really, my first single cylinder bike, I will get it run in properly then look at an exhaust.
Where did you get and what size hondah decals on your fork covers?
E-Bay, large...
you should really try a 13 tooth front sprocket for a bit more bottom end power and makes 6th gear viable. and its only 30 dollars Canadian
I have a 13 tooth sprocket on my CRF - can't say as I've really noticed it made any difference!
quick question guy. does anyone know if you can fit the plastic body kit of a crf250 to a crf250l? thanks
Dunno, I doubt it though...
im going to buy this bike??? is it powerful enough for motocross racing?????
Not seriously, but if you're a beginner (and by virtue of the fact you asked I'm assuming you are), then it's just fine....
Sann Dohmo no its a joke in the performance area
hello sorry if this is silly I have 125cc road legal supermoto what size hand gurads will I need I want a pair for the summer :)
+The Mad Scouse No such thing as a silly question - hand guards are all a standard size, you just need to make sure you get a set that fit your particular model of bike. If you can't get a specific one then you may be able to get a generic fit....good luck! - TMF
TheMissendenFlyer okay great thanks :) alot ill have a good look around and see what i can see great video again btw :)
# 6 : skid plate
+jeff ferguson Yes I forgot about that - would be indeed be number 6 on the list - cheers!
did the ejk fuel controller throw out you speedo?
Nope - the 13 tooth front sprocket did though....
+fukthegoog I don't know where the crf250l speed is from every time I go up the gravel road I live on if you get on it hard the rear wheel will spin and speedo goes up
Where are you riding in the uk
South Buckinghamshire - North West of London....
Your outro sound like when u get r about to land from holiday of a plane
+Adam Newton love for cars Hehe, is that god or bad I wonder (don't answer that!)......thanks for watching to the end! All the best - TMF
+TheMissendenFlyer I like it there's nothing wrong with it its like C2W Intro I was meant to put in it that I like it
can you have the hand warmers off
Yes of course - they have several heat settings (including off!)
i knew it was a stupid question but i had to ask :D
did you alter the gearing mate
+Mark Buchanan Yes - I have the 13 tooth front sprocket, but to be honest it was the last mod I did and haven't really noticed a huge difference....
Can these things wheelie? Looking to change my big 1200 commuter for something more fun.
+Mark Buchanan Apparently so - but it helps if you get the mods done (FMF, EJK, etc)....
Thanks mate great video BTW 🖒
+Mark Buchanan Thank you!
You really should convert your speedo to mph.
+Trevino Wieler Gob shite
...the speedo is in MPH but reads artificially high due to the 13 tooth front sprocket....so not a reliable indicator of accurate speed.....
Should try camel tank for more fuel
THE MMF! THE FMF!
???
That bike's not even road legal mate. Where's your front number plate....?
+TheAylesburyCyclist Hehe - very good ;0)
+TheAylesburyCyclist dont need one, only rear
+Trevino Wieler Really....?!!
yea, I also have a 2016 crf 250l and you only need a rear
+cheryl hutchinson A motorpike...? Oh no, that's a fish with an engine... I'm pretty sure you need a front number plate for one of those too...
More 899 vids please ;)
+aaron0288 Patience sir, patience!! The 899 will definitely be out again soon - too gorgeous a machine not to ride :0)
+TheMissendenFlyer I know. I think I'm just excited because.... I'm getting mine on Friday! Can't wait!
+aaron0288 You're going to love it - hope the weather holds for you....red or white?
+TheMissendenFlyer Red of course :)
+aaron0288 ...Just teasin' ya! Good man!
I own this bike 2014
no to fmf go full yoshimura system, more expensive but worth it ..
+such is life why do you prefer one over the other? thnxs
+such is life No thanks - I'm very happy with the FMF....
+Andrew Walsh yoshimura 100% quality, a lot better build quality than fmf..
I think I'd be happy with either, but do like my FMF full system.
BASHPLATE?? ;)
i had the Abramovich with powerbomb before...uninstalled and sold it...too noisy ... I ride a open chopper too but a 250 just dont sounds good only loud, just my 2 cents..
Bashplate is much more important, but ok where we live we dont need heated handgrips...so still 5 :D
Yes i did fit a heavy duty bash-plate to mine - never actually bashed it but nice to know it's there!
You misspelled “tires”.
Not in the UK writing in English I didn't.....
Wow! Another “zed” type of thing going on. When will you brits learn proper english? 😁 ..Love your channel. 👍
I think you'll find this is proper English...i.e. that used in England! ;0)
Hi, can anyone please identify the phone holder on the bike?? I like it very much
...it was just an E-Bay special for the iPhone 6plus...
I own one of these, underpowered, terrible accessory support, did I mention underpowered?
Huge buyer remorse
Did you do the mods? I take it not....??
TheMissendenFlyer ive modded the snot out of it, if you ride with anyone who has pretty much ANY other DS, you'll be playing chase your pals all day.. If I had to do it over again I'd have simply bought a Yamaha wr250
Fair enough....
Joshua James
i can't speak for the USA/UK, but in canada the wr250 is ~$2000 more. do you feel the crf is that much worse tha the yamaha?
can you do without the EJK ? don't mind spending the money or even if the thing works or not, just concerned about engine damage or excessive wear. great vids and reviews
ADD A KTM 450 6 day engine
nice adds
Cheers....
kids?? im 20.....
It's just a catch phrase, try not let it spoil your day!
haah i know i was just messin bud
lol your on the wrong side of the road ...ya I know u.k
camera is bad
.....in what way?
Hi TMF
Does your brother present the "motorcycle experience?" 😉
ua-cam.com/video/cF8W67Ao9Ms/v-deo.html
+Sconce Hill Err - why do you say that?
+TheMissendenFlyer
The likeness is uncanny!
+Sconce Hill
Just not as interesting!
+Sconce Hill Can't see the likeness myself but thanks for the kind words! All the best - TMF
