I think the YS3M is the best looking cube of the bunch. Maybe I am biased but I really like the logo. I also really like that the internals of the center pieces are colored.
This is actually a very good video to see all the scenario about moyu cubes, I was a little bit lost and I didn't know the difference in the experience using all this cubes, your knowledge into performance, speed, magnet strengh and so on, it's so useful.
I just got an RS3M V5 for oh but I played around with it on two hands and dropped my average from low 8 to mid 7 immediately so I guess it's going to be my new main over the gan 12 lol
Use the new Dayan Guhong pro M for one handed. I just got it and damn it's amazing!! The only down side is the corner cutting is not so great and it doesn't have a dual adjustment system. But it is quite good. It's my current main right now for 1 handed and 2 handed both. I have the 55mm spring version u can use the 54mm version for one handed. Bro believe me your average will drop so muchh. I came from a 2 minute average to 1 minute average in one handed. Good luck.
i totally agree with your tierlist. i have every cube you mentioned including the super weilong. the super weilong is for me maybe the best but the price is just way to much and the v9 feels similar especially the Special edition. if you havent tried that one yet. you should.

Best way to adjust the rs3m is dnm and weight 5 for lube and 0 to 2 in tention it gives it a fast and stable feeling and to make Quite add lube in the springs
Cube master you could do what I did on my super rs3m where I put extra magnets on the corner feet to increase the strength and when I did it it actually auto aligned from 25 degrees
I used my asian powers, a lot of weight 5, and Moyu's antiquated dual adjustment system, and it's safe to say my rs v5 is VERY slow now. Cuts almost two pieces forward. A beautiful cube. Just a bit too catchy for 2 handed.
I used to main v9, and I still solve with it quite a bit. I actually went back to my tornado v3 however. Big reason for this because the plastic on the v9 feels cheap. And I know it somewhat cheap because I've had a corner break on one of them from dropping it on a solve mat too many times. Fortunately I got a replacement for free, but it still sucks that the cube is just not great build quality. If I could justify the price I'd probably use a Gan 12 as my main over the tornado (I own the Bluetooth gan 12 freeplay which I got for free) but the V3 is kind of perfect.

Why the robot (believe $16 by itself which means the cube would have been even cheaper) I have no idea. lol Fortunately, my old 2014 Rephael fits in it quite well (now it's my home cube; my v5 is now my work fidget toy; lol) so it still serves a purpose. Sadly, the two tape pads that came with the robot is the only thing really closing the plastic lid since it doesn't apparently have any hinges (only a light snap; why no hinges for a $16 robot case? My only real complaint.). lol No where near your speed and at my age, have no plans to be. lol Enjoyed the vid none the less. :)
@@ShiinaHiyori I like the ball core version because its snappy, although I know many people who like the 20 magnet ball core because the magnets are weaker. If you want the 20 magnet ball core version just get the V10 since it has the better adjustment system too.
going by the price bump between rs3m and rs3m v2 it'll be a small mortgage of ~400$ for the uv coated bc one. also gotta make sure to have a box with enough space for 100 standard size 3x3 cubes.
Would you recommend the Weilong V9 Ball-Core UV or the Special Edition? Some people say the nkrmal Bakk Core corner twists too much, and its too fast, but the Special Edition doesn't have MagLev or Repeling Core Edge magnets. I dont't know whcih one I should get.
I'm surprised you call the RS3M 2020 fast. Mine is sluggish after I broke it in. And the Super v2 is pretty slow too when broken in. Super v1 has stronger magnets in the basic version compared to the ball core. In my opinion, the v9 is pretty badly balanced. Too strong magnets. I like the speed but not the magnets, they just break the flow, make the cube not enjoyable at all for slow solves, and for fast solves, I feel like I have to use more effort that I'd like to. To balance it, I could compress the maglev or swap it for springs, but I don't want to increase the friction - I want to make magnets slower. So this one doesn't work for me. But I find the RS3M v5 really nice. In my opinion, it's the best Moyu's release from this year. Funny how different opinions are :)
I love the wrm v9 but hate the feeling of rs3m v5, it's like the magnets are non existent in the v5 but I perform way better with the v5 with the ao100 dropping from 19 to 17
Hello Samuel, great video. My main is still the Meilong 3M with extra magnets in the edges because it is much lighter than the RS3M 2020. The V9 (also with extra magnets in the edges) is my favorite from your list, but I had times in a competition between 17 and 38 seconds due to overshooting. So far I haven't managed to adjust it perfectly with lube. I have now ordered the version of the V9 from Picube, without Maglev and repelling edge magnets. I'm curious how it will perform. I searched on the internet and came across weird ways like using sugar/alcohol, sand paper, etc. But I'm afraid to use those because the fear of disqualification.
@@dakevinmg nah, they changed the plastic and now it’s super resistant to dye. Tried it with my tornado v3 and it looks exactly the same as before the dye. I used dye and acetone and it did nothing.
They're honestly the same thing the super is just more stable and v5 is faster the super has a tactile blocky feel compared to the v5 which is on the lighter side and feels more like a RS3M 2020 just with upgraded Speed and stability so conclusion: Super because of its stability but both are good for any skill level tbh.

Also corner cutting is not really superb, no matter the setting of the adjustment. I did not use the screw yet though. Don't know if that would help. Also, I think the magnets are of different strengths. For example if I pull the Pieces slightly away from each other it is always one side, that keeps sticking together and the other does not. Maybe I should have bought the Guhong Pro, but since I am a complete noob right now, it does not really matter in terms of performance. Still enjoy the cube though. I am a picky person, so there is that.

I would recommend the special edition. The normal ball core for me is too fast and uncontrollable.

You can just paint the pieces black and put stickers on it
You can use Rit dye to make the plastic black, but you have to be careful because it’s easy to mess up
