- Clock is my least favorite event. How fast could I get if I practiced it for a week?

Memo 2: U to C
Memo 3: L to U
Memo 4: R to D, x2, L to UL
Exec 1: Only UR pin down Memo 1 on ul pin and Memo 2 on UR pin
Exec 2: All right Pins Down (L) Memo 3 on ur Solve D to R
Exec 3: Only UL pin UP! make 2x2 in bottom right with UL and ur. Take note of U to C
Exec 4: FLIP (x2) Only UR pin down Memo 4 on UL then Temporary memo on ur
Exec 5: All right Pins Down (L) Solve U+C+L to D+R with UL, then solve UR corner to UL corner with ur pin

Exec 7: UL + DR pins up (\) Bring everything to Twelve with ur and UL pins
Lucky cases:
Line with edge clocks, keep it vertically

Disclaimer: I DO NOT KNOW 7-SIMUL FLIP (yet) I MADE THIS SHEET FOR ME TO LEARN IT
While base 7simul flip is fine, Jaidon Lin made a 6 number memo version that really helps with fludity (in case anyone wants to use this):
7simul flip (Bpaul version - revised)
(Keep in mind if letters are capitalized you do memo on the front, and if lowercase do memo on back by doing an x2 rotation)
M1: (R to D) + (l to ul)
M2: (u to c)
M3: (l to u)
M4: (r to d) + (L to UL)
M5: (U to C)
M6: (L to U)
Execution:
ur: With the UL execute M1, and with UR wheel execute M2
L: With the UL wheel match D to R, and with the UR wheel execute M3
UL: with the UL wheel match C to either D or R, and with the UR wheel match the dr corner with either D or R
Before x2, DR pin
ur : Now do an x2 rotation, with the UL wheel do M4, and with the UR wheel do M5
L: with the UL wheel match D To R, and with the UR wheel execute M6
UL: with the UL wheel match C to R or D, and with the UR wheel match DR to R or D
\ : now with both UL and UR wheels, match everything to 12

@@305_cuberdude thank you so much!!
Didn’t realize it was possible to improve so quickly! Maybe I’ll try out something similar soon
I've been doing clock for 8 years straight and I love how the event is getting popularity thanks to the new clocks and new methods, clock is a really fun event
Greetings from Mexico
Cool to see you getting into clock! I have a few extra tips. Once you get use to memorizing 4 letters. I recommend learning the 6 letters version. The six letters version allows you to avoid needing to look at the distance between U to C before the flip AND minimize eye movement on the second side for the UR to DL corner, this drop my global from sub 4.8~ to roughly sub 4.1 in 2ish weeks. Also that’s some of the best improvement I’ve seen in a week for a little-to no experience clocker.
Memo for letter 5 and 6 is both on the first/original side, U to C is memo for 5 and L to U is memo for 6th letter. Execute Num5 by replacing the current turn that you currently memorize before you flip. Execute number 6 for the peripheral vision corner, aka UR to DL corner in the second side.
Thanks for the tips, I'll look into it! Sometimes I glance at U to C but with audio I struggle with all the memo. Do you use all images for memo?
@@CubeMasterYT I still use audio. But since the good thing about this method is that the first 3 letters are all use on the first side, and the last 3 letters are all on the second side. (for both memo and execution) So I tend to audio it into two "pairs". But instead of forming a word I just do something like 1BC *pauses* 2DE. During execution I'm able to focus on 1BC (first audio "pair") and then after the flip i focus on 2DE (second audio "pair"). It's hard to explain but I'm sure you'll get it.
@@jaidonlin_cI0nKCould you make a video for this 6 letter version please?
@@Dagg361 yes I’ll be making a tutorial video soon
@@jaidonlin_cI0nKit's been 2 months, please 😢
For a faster clock, take out the screws and washers and put tape on the edges of the clock to hold it in place.
I'm really excited to see you getting into 6 letter version and see your improvement
Great breakdown of your progress
cool video! you should do videos like this for some other events. also I like the clock turn animation to show how many days left
Cool video! you could do skewb next
You have inspired me to practice clock.
Every time Cube Master uploads it’s like the cold side of the pillow
skewb is easy to improve fast once You learn how to do sledges and hedges and learn sarah intermidiate
Bruh ur content is so gooddddddd
Clock master
crazy improvement! next should be skewb
hey cubemaster, where did you learn this method from?
im trying to learn 7 simul flip but there are so many different memo patterns and it has me confused
My PB is 5.30 and it took me a few months. You improved fast!
This is a great video
as a french cuber, saying negative numbers is really fast. For -2, i would say 2 syllables (moins deux). I just wanted to point this out even tho i don't know 7-simul😅
You should do bld for 7 days. Also whats the comp overlay that u used at the end?
Question: what’s the virtual timer and scorecard thing at 12:26 where it shows BPA and WPA? Great video!
he coded it up himself iirc
Your videos are very good
Do bigbld next time! Would be fun to see
pyra next would be cool
Nice. I bought my first clock recently. Trying to get faster

as a flip user, im wondering if theres a tutorial or website you used the learn 7 simul flip, pls tell me ive been using flip all my life
If you follow the initial example solve in the video, that's pretty much what you do every time. Don't think there's any better video out there :(
@@CubeMasterYT dang thats sad, but while waiting for a reply, i learn optemized pochmann, which the first step can be done simultaneously(idk how to spell), and somehow got 6 sub 10s, with a 8.45pb single, i think you should try it, but uh dont mess up your first step, i did many times and wasted 2 seconds
so this is what sam has been doing
OH!
clock solvers:
ahhh its so much work to look
Have you seen all the clock drama on wca forum lol if so what is your opinion?
I love clock I'm trying get nail down Memorizon part I get to the half way point and then get dnf😅. I really wish clock was a bit more popular. It's a fun puzzle
do big bld, very fun event!
3bld next to do another collab with tommy
12:29 can you do mega pls
You should practice something else you currently don’t like for a week like Redi Cube. I know it’s still an unofficial event, but I’d be curious to see if you also gain a greater appreciation for it. (You mentioned in your video about which events should become official and unofficial WCA that you don’t think it’s got enough depth for an official event)
He should do fto
7:31 god damn it
You should practice 3x3 OH, i thnk it would be interesting
You could do skews next.
Skewb not skews (it happened because of auto correct.)
we have lost another one
If u ever do fto, i would love to collab with you!
7 Simul Flip is the best
I think next one should be megaminx or skewb
Please do Pyraminx
He says gets help from we holder three years later he has the wr
How about Skewb?
LEARN SKEWB NEXT
(You used to hate clock but now you love it, so the same might be for skewb)

Which 7 Simul flip tutorial did u use?
Now I know normal 7Simul :)
I know Tommy 7Simul now :)
How could i get better at 4x4?
Don't quit square 1!!!
Are you gonna become the god of side events? Lol
probably.
skewb might be next
@@adriangd5040 we will see!!!
Next challange 6x6 ;-)
Ayyy nice! Now grind Megaminx
square 1 with obl for 7 days
You should practice OH
Do 3 blind
If you can quit square 1, I think you could be the world champion for clock.😊
I want you to practice solving 5x5 with using yau method faster to get sub one minute 10 seconds.
Try practice 3x3 oh
Can you practice only blind events for 7 days?
Blind clock
Memorise
pliz praktis megaminkas
bro is NOT dylan baumbach
practise square 1 for 7 days
I really think you should do big cubes next 6x6 and 7x7 they are so fun because it is so easy and fun to improve a lot
I can't really see the fun on it
Do you like clock now, because of this vid or do you still hate it?
i paid one dollar for one solve and now i get a ton for free, i got scammed
