I might try and get one more out before I head to college but I've packed away most of my main cubes so not sure what I'll do. Expect maybe a 4x4 comparison between the SteVin and MGC.
Thank you for the vid, really enjoyed it! Its funny because I have four cubes on my table. My first two cubes, the tornado v3 flagship and the rs3m v5 ballcore and two new cubes, the wrm v10 maglev and gan 12 maglev. Usually I'm really a sucker for good marketing and I thought I would love the gan. And now a brutal honest and very unpopular opinion: I think its just marketing and higher prices which make us think these cubes are better. A friend of mine joined me and we blind tested these four cubes and we came to the same conclusion: rs3m v5 feels good and turns well and tornado v3 feels very premium. In comparison both, the v10 and the gan12 feel plasticy and sound horrible. Also the turning feel wasn't really better and I swear, we both said that in different blind tests without knowing the opinion from each other and which cube is which. We both got more hang ons on the v10 and on the gan12 than on the other two cubes. Im really disappointed, especially of the gan12 because it feels so wobbely even I tried the second tightest setting.
Amazing vid! Really helped me since i'm not caught up with new releases. Would you say the v10 is similar to the wrm2021 maglev by any chance? I haven't been able to try the v9 or v10 and the wrm2021 maglev is the latest reference i got
I've never tried the wrm2021 so I can't really comment on that. I'm sure you can probably find some comparisons online somewhere if you just look around for a bit though.
I dont know why but I miss the red logo on the Guhong so bad (I erased it and put a Gan logo on it) While I was commenting this, you said the Guhong has a dual adjustment system but in reality it doesnt, so yea
Ah my bad I must have just seen the gear and thought dual adjustment but it's just tension. Been a while since I set up my guhong so that's probably why.
@@ccubinglol I’ve honestly got no clue, I’d email the cube store you bought it from and ask about it. I’d guess that you most likely can’t, however the cubicle for example may be able to send you a replacement cap for a small fee.

@@UltimateRessie13 only for the pioneer uv, for non uv cubes, you can either use an eraser, soak the center cap in sugar water, or take sandpaper and lube and apply the lube to the center piece and use sandpaper and rub it for about 5 minutes(for a moyu cube)

From what I've heard, the pioneer is not too different from the flagship though so the comparison should still be relatively truthful.
This is true that the Tornado V3 has manufacturing issues. I have run into this myself with one of my corner magnets occasionally coming off and getting stuck to the core. I would avoid buying the TV3 right now as the Tornado V4 will be releasing within the next few months anyway.
@@TacoSnoz I do not compete at all. Just casual cubing. Buy these because the OG Rubik’s are bloody awful lol. I can solve about 40 seconds with 2 look
@@ravenwda007 Yeah the Rubik's brand cubes have historically been far behind speedcubing hardware. The new Rubik's Speed though is actually a great option for a viable Rubik's brand. It is a rebranded Swiftblock that genuinely is pretty decent.
Please do more of these style videos

I no longer have the v9 but from what I remember the v9 is slightly crispier than the 21. The v10 is a lot lighter and a bit more controllable
can you make a video showing how you set up at least some of these??
Once I move into my college dorm and finish orientation I'll try to get videos up on a few of the cubes. I left some of them at home though.

Where did you tornado logo go? 😀
You can buy replacement caps

I used the Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish found on a youtube video to remove the logo so that I could use it for blind solving.
I just rubbed the cap with eraser and the logo went for me pretty simple
Nice video
when i tried my friend's gan 12 maglev, i just didnt like it so should i consider the v5 or the wrm v10?
Both are great options. If you want a more stable cube with stronger magnets go for the WRM v10,. If you want more flexibility, go for the RS3M v5.
same tbh i bought the 12 before knowing what my turning style was and its kinda shiet compared to a WRM imop
