- I haven't done one of these for a while so I thought it was about time I did the next in the series. Today is the turn of Blush...and as you all know...I'm a huge fan and never wear makeup without it. The smallest amount of blush can lift and bring together any makeup look. I LOVE IT and look so much healthier when it's on my skin.

CONTACT LENSES

I don't use bronzer very much, but I LOVE blush! It makes such a big difference in bringing color and life to the face.

Yes! Hourglass is amazing and a week ago that would’ve been top of my list too, along with Nars liquid blush... but at the weekend I got the Rituel de Fille cream blush and I’ve been floored! It’s jaw-droppingly beautiful. Recommend it!

Agreed!! The hourglass powders are the one place where I go for the higher price because they just plain perform.
Great tip about the lipsticks I've been doing that for a couple of years now and it helps use up the lipsticks I don't wear that much

Thanks for the blusher tip. I'd gone off powder blush because I'd a tendency to be a little heavy handed. I will try this.

I have that Hourglass blush and it is beautiful. I love their powders and like you said while expensive they last and last. I use dim light every day and have done for ages, still looks like it’s barely used. Interested to try the NYX one though as the colour looks full on. Suspect I may have to waft a bit with that one though until I got used to it!

I've bought the Hour Glass blush in the mini size. More affordable for me to do that. It too as become my favorite. I've got the Ghost pallet on my Christmas list. I think I'll try the NYX, i've never tried their blushes.

Hourglass is normally far more than I’m prepared to spend, however with some Christmas money to spend I have treated myself and ordered the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Quad, can’t wait to try it, eek! And I can see the palette also winging its way to me very soon thanks to your review too.

Just want to say that you look amazing and by following your channel I become more interested in blushes. Usually I use a bit of bronzer instead of blush because my cheeks tend to be reddish already.

I’m a blush junkie but I’ve never tried the NYX. I’m eager to give them a go! The Hourglass blushes are absolutely sublime and quite a good value considering the quantity and quality. I love a good cream blush and feel that they are less sticky than lipstick. My favorites are from Flower beauty and Glossier.

Got to agree with you regarding HourGlass blushes. I've got Euphoric Fusion as a single and I also have the Luminous Flush in my Ambient Lighting Edit palette. Both are stunning.
Using a lipstick as a blush is something I've done quite often, it's a great way to marry up the lips with the cheeks. Great tip Gemma. 😊💗😊💗😊
Gemma, you're absolutely right, I knew it would be the Hourglass and who can fault you for that. I like the alternative too, so might check that out before I splurge and treat myself to the Hourglass palettes.
I own a few blushes but the one that I use the most is (surprisingly) Sephora Matte Blush in color True Kiss #18. I’m a light medium and this color works great to mimic a natural blush, especially during winter. It gives a lovely subtle sun kissed look if used softly.
Becca blushes are really nice as well.... 🙂
I agreed about the hourglass, I recently went to sephora earlier today & I did saw it. Makes me want to go back again and re-purchase because I dropped and shattered my hourglass palette that has 6 pans. If I'll get new qua ghost or a single blush, I will be overjoy! thx for courage me on that one!

I bought my first hourglass blush early this year and I was so bowled over, I have never had a blush like it. Really easy to apply and as you say , it really does lift your face . Well with the money and I have used a lot of blushes in my time (soon to be 60 )

I bought the Nars amour blush and expected to be in love but I applied it with a natural Bare Minerals brush so it looked v clown like. Haha. Now I have a nice brush and it works well for me. Now I’m wondering about the Orgasm liquid blush too. Thanks for reviewing makeup for us

Looks like I will definitely be buying something from Hourglass. I knew you were going to say it but now I know what colour is your favourite, I might look at that rather than the Ghost palette as I am a similar colour tone hair and skin tone to you, although I have blue eyes. I have a Tarte blush I love, that came in a mini as I have never purchased an expensive blush. That Nip and Fab palette you have I struggle with getting any colour payoff. That NYX blush was also a favourite of Emily Noel I think and she like you loves a good blush. Although I think she went for the satin finish one.
I think the dupe for the hourglass one would be the maxfactor baked blushers. I have that one though and like it very much and also one from Asda, believe it or not, out of the hundreds I own x

Hourglass does make their powders and blushes in mini sizes (at least for Sephora). If you really lust after one (like I did for the Dim powder from the Ghost palette) you can try a mini. They last a long time.
One of the things that I really struggle with is I have no knowledge on brushes drugs to brushes would be nice also I don’t know if you already have done a video on this but thank you for your time

I didn’t think Hourglass blushes could be that great until I tried one - LOVE Mood Exposure for cheeks and in my crease - brightens my blue eyes. I’ve been using lipsticks as cream blushes - one of my favorites is Neutragena MoisturizerSmooth Color stick in bright berry. I’m eyeing a cream blush called Pale Pink from Bobbi Brown right now but know I’ll never use the whole thing before I want to try another color. I was also eyeing Bareminerals Bounce blush in pale pink - do you think it’s too bright for someone with Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder shade 3? I can wear cool or warm blushes. Can you do a video on choosing the perfect shade if you don’t know if you should pick warm or cool? I can’t decide half the time. Thanks!!

yeah the Milani baked blushes came in a really good variety of shades. I mean realistically, they are not as good as Hourglass - this is one case where the quality really does go with the high price. BUT, because they are baked they are really great and not powdery. Also if you want an Hourglass blush but dont' want to pay full price, they do sell mini versions of the big blushes. They are half the price. Yes they are pricey but they do last you a long, long time.
The Max Factor "Puff Blush baked Blush" is a dupe for the Hourglass one, and way more affordable! I think I payed about 8 Euros for it, and I wear the "Nude mauve"-color, it is so natural looking that even I can make it look nice😊

We have the same favourites but my mum prefers the pinker blush from NYX in that brand. The one I like is too peachy coloured for her skin tone xxx
