I am 56 and have been in a real funk. I stopped liking what I see in the mirror a couple of years ago. Having trouble accepting my age started to get me down. After seeing this video( I trust Nikki a lot) I splurged on several of these items. I have to say I haven't been this excited about looking in the mirror and putting on makeup in a very long time. I even put a touch up bag in my purse. I feel like I made a small invested in my self esteem.
@@Emma-qo7bs I love the Westman Atelier blushes and the Tom Ford bronzer and highlighter. The Tom Ford highlighter is amazing for mature skin. Also, the super loaded Peau de rose tinted highlighter from Westman Atelier. It is subtle with a beautiful glow. See, I am still excited! I have been wearing makeup everyday...it is fun again.

I love the Dior palette. I’m 74 and still love playing with makeup. I am so impressed with the quality difference of my few high end products - Tom Ford cream blush palette, Natasha Denona mini palette. Great video. Thanks! 💕🇨🇦
I’m so impressed with your videos; every question or comparison I thought of was addressed. I agree with almost all of your points. Yes Pixie, I agree… excellent work!! Keep up the good work!!!
Ikr! She explains things to well. Even though her sentence doesn't sound like a script but she manages to articulate sentences well and put all pointers across. Love her channel ❤
I have used Charlotte Tilbury powder, Huda Beauty Powder, Laura Marcier powder, drugstore powders etc and nothing comes even close to IT cosmetics bye bye powder. I am extremely oily and IT cosmetics is the only one that can control my oil, set my under eyes without looking crepy, blend everything together and give that flawless filter look. I am NC 30 and it just melts into my skin without a white cast. Absolute HG just like my Mac fix plus ❤️.
Wow. I have to try this. I am also very oily. Lately, I purchased the Huda Beauty Cherry Blossom powder and I love it for my under eye area. But, I still haven't found a powder for all over that will really help control my disco ball situation.
Hi Nikki, you do the BEST videos as you really explain why each product has the high price tag. You go far a beyond for all of us out here and thank you so so much. Your stunning in your black blouse and your beautiful without makeup, but, your makeup looks flawless and stunning. Can’t wait for your next video/tutorial
Normally don’t buy luxury makeup but I loveeee my hourglass powder and tend to get more compliments on my makeup when I use it as a finisher *chef’s kiss*
@cathychipman4680 i am using a concealer and a setting powder and i believe it's called ambient glow blush ....all wear beautiful and don't dry my already dry skin out and it doesn't settle into my fine forhead lines....hope this helps :)
I bought a LV bag at *suluxy* a few years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.
I absolutely love the hourglass ambient palette, as much as expensive as they are I find it’s a lifesaver. I find if I’m having a bad makeup day and the foundation isn’t working this palette seems to save the day
Wow Nikki subscribers are ticking over! Tick, tick 100,000 around the corner, what a milestone and achievement for both you and Mitch! Congratulations 🎉
I love that you're praising the highlighter in the TF contour duo. It makes fine lines disappear and creates the creamiest look on the cheeks. I always hear people saying it's useless so I get nervous that TF will get rid of it. That can't happen!! :)
Love the Cle de Peau enhancer - it gives a natural glow from within look!! (the beauty equivalent to quiet luxury). One can buy refills once finished which means it's more sustainable and there is no need to pay for the packaging again. An incredibly underrated product
You are absolutely stunning❗️ I am almost 70, and I’m not interested in glam, but an overall natural finish/look, but I still love watching/learning from you, Nikki 😍 Thank you for all of your expertise tips and tricks 😉
Pausing video at 4 seconds to say how beautiful you look, Nikki! Hair, makeup, the lace blouse-all perfect. I feel so lucky to have a product from almost all of these brands. Except for the Hourglass Veil setting spray, which I already had, all are brand new purchases. In the last week I can see that they are truly worth the extra expense. There is no comparison to other lines I tried over the last year while searching for holy grail products on mature skin. ❤️❤️❤️ ALSO! 🙏🏼 Nikki, the Hourglass concealers are so good, that I almost don’t even need other makeup besides lipstick after applying to my under eyes. Would you consider making a video about how use more than one of their colors to brighten and color correct? I experimented last night with this and was “kind of” able to create the illusion of almost no puffiness, concealing, and brightening. Would love to see your professional techniques to do this! 🙏🏼 blessings! 💞
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the *suluxy* book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I love this video. The Westman atelier highlighters are glorious! I've also spent crazy amounts on Hourglass powders and don't have a regret with any of them. Hourglass loose powder, I love, but Givenchy powder is next (because of you). Thanks for sharing. ❤
Throughout the years, the Chanel ultra le Teint compact foundation, and the YSL all hours foundation worked best for me personally, but I still wholeheartedly agree on the list here because it’s nothing but amazing products
I avoided Westman Atelier for a long time but the products are unique and just work so well for me. There are some lemons as well in the line, but the Lit Up and Super Loaded and Biscuit contour are just amazing (and I don’t contour at all). I like the Peau de Peche and Peau de Sante. The Peau de Rose is too glittery for me at my age.
Ooh I almost purchased the Peau de peche tonight after watching this! But instead I purchased the westman atelier contour in biscuit and the Clé de Peau Luminizing Face Enhancer instead:) And a few other items as well lol..😬🤣 So is the Peau de peche more like a Luminizing blush rather than a highlighter? All three colors looked so much more intense- color wise- rather than typical highlighters. Not that I necessarily don’t like that that but I just thought they were going to be more like highlighters rather than metallicy looking blush.. I’m still on the fence..
I agree on the urban decay setting spray. Every time I used it, it would make my makeup either separate or just melt off.. I tried all of the different styles of it and they all did the same.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. I personally own 6 of the items mentioned. I wholeheartedly agree ( Dior Foundation and highlighter, Hourglass pallette, CT powder, Givenchy powder, Hourglass setting spray) they are all soo good! Love Love Love the HG setting spray. It's worth every penny. These other brands ( coughs) CT and Dior need to upgrade they spray nozzel game 😂. I would love your thoughts on mascara. I personally love Diors. I guess I have more luxury makeup than I thought.
I love your videos, thank you! Would you consider doing a video on what techniques and products you would change for more mature dry skin (50). Thanks!
Yes yes yes on the Giorgio Armani foundation and Charlotte Tilbury powders! So good! The foundation is not only a good formula, but one of the very few olive shade matches I have found. The powder you could put five layers of that powder on, and it still would not look cakey!
Omg you’re spot on regarding the Urban Decay setting sprays. I thought I was the only one w sprayer issues. Totally gonna take you up on trying the Hourglass setting spray. ❤️🙋🏽♀️
You are the best in your trade! I unfollowed many self proclaimed make up gurus due to drama and pushing products of dub par quality. I learned so much from you, planning to buy some of these during the upcoming Sephora rouge sale.
The only product I have from this video is the Hourglass palette and it is incredible. If you want to look like an angel, lit by candlelight, it is worth it. I love putting it on lightly for day and a little more for date night. It doesn’t look make-upy, but is very noticeable if that makes sense? You look lit perfectly from within but with a little touch of magic. I don’t know how else to describe it!
Totally agree with you, the Cle de Peau face enhancers are stunning. I also think Westman Atelier highlighter stick in Nectar is gorgeous. Now I need to try the Givenchy powder and Hourglass veil setting spray.
Nikki darling…because of your fabulous videos coupled with your wealth of knowledge I have invested in some luxury products and although these products are expensive their performance is worth every penny. So thank you so much for these informative videos. ❤
Thank you for this video! So helpful. There is so much noise surrounding luxury makeup, that it’s hard to know which products work best. It’s super helpful to hear from someone that uses these in a professional capacity!! Thank you!!!
I too am a BIG fan of Armani Luminous Silk in shade 6. I have an olive (green) undertone and it is one of the only shades of foundation that matches me right out of the bottle with no mixing of blue pigment needing. I do also really love the Koh Gen Doh Aqua foundation in 213 - however, that foundation is $96!!! I will forever repurchase it because I love the way it looks on my skin and I feel like I get my moneys worth. I also love the Charlotte Tilbury powder - I have one in the shade fair for under eye and the shade medium for the rest of my face. I recently picked up their new powder highlight and would LOVE to see a video with your thoughts if you’ve picked them up! Love your content!! ❤
So the only product from the lineup that I don’t have the same love for is the Armani LS foundation. It makes my skin look so flat and matte no matter how I prep my skin. I could be a glazed donut and it just completely sucks the life from my face :( I even bought multiple shades because i looked dead every time I applied it. I’m the shade 6 (olive) in the Neo Nude Foundation but it’s not the same in the luminous silk color range :( I have a majority of every product you’ve mentioned and I love the rest of them lol! A couple of products worth it to me: Tom Ford Sundrunk blush (bought that per your blush video), Cle de Peau radiant cream foundation, and chantecaille mascara. Love the video Nikki!
Absolutely Dior forever glow, Armani, Givenchy, worth the price, oh! CT powder make a difference in a stunning make up, thank you for your tip on ELF brown brow gel!!! It works so well you take care of all your viewers pocket 🥰
I agree the hourglass setting spray is superior especially if your makeup isn’t looking great. It will transform your makeup instantly. Worth every penny.
I have most of the product you mentioned and love them all, except very velantino foundation and hourglass setting spray. going to try both of them. I have worked for Cle de pau and products are stunning. you will never regret. Also my now fav is westman Atelier, have her full line and every product is beautiful. Thank you for validation. I am happy to know my judgement of choosing high end worth products. Also other line which is missing here is Hindash, love each and every products from the line. Must for any makeup artitist. Thank you Nikki, love your makeup style.
Damn! You look fantastic 💚 You are so well spoken and you definitely know your makeup. I completely trust your recommandations even tho it's getting kinda hard for my wallet 🛍💸 Happy Easter 💛🐣😘
I love everything and just subscribed with notifications on ❤❤ I love the HourGlass and Tom Fords highlighters as well…You have me thinking hmmm that I need to try to branch out to Givenchy ❤❤
I am beyond grateful for all this info, SO helpful! My biggest 2 take aways...learning about Hourglass setting spray & learning that I'm not alone w/ the globs that emit from All Nighter!
I just recently started to buy some dior products, and getting the Forever Nude is really life changing. I used to buy tons of other foundations but they just never seem to stay long or whatever… but the FN is amazing. Then i branched to lipticks, gloss, highlighter and next will be bronzer 😅 good thing I don’t use other makeup products 😊
Nikki, I want you to know that I don’t use Chanel because I don’t really see them a lot in your videos. Lol. Thank you for making videos for us it helps ua save a lot of money! 😘😘😘😊
Hi Nikki! I’ve recently discovered your channel and I am LOVING it! I love how well spoken you are and your thorough explanations! I’d love to see more videos like this and also techniques! Thanks so much! ❤
Please, don't feel bad or afraid to show us your favorite luxury products because of their price. You didn't set the price, lol, and you can't help what you really love. If anyone gives you a hard time, that's their problem, not yours. Loved the video, btw! Is the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate palette on the warmer or more neutral side?
i love ur videos ur complexion looks so good i very much enjoy the charlotte tilbury powder nd also armany foundation to me that veil setting spray its the best no body talks about it
Rediscovering makeup over the last year. At a certain age you can’t just use anything. And I’ve spent a ton on this journey. But it’s worth having quality over quantity. I’ve tried most of the products here. Only Gucci products have been a let down except for the lip products
I 💯 agree with you dear , as a make up artist and make up lover, I have all shades of the givenchy powders , I purchased and felt in love with the formula
I'm the one that bought most of this stuff & I love to watch the video & follow along with you by grabbing mine and admiring it lol. I have been using everything and practicing & I'm doing so many things I thought I would never do or needed it. I've always used nothing but the best, but it's been a minute for me. So I'm having fun & taking really good care of myself, finally I'm back!! Thanks to you!! I appreciate you and trust your opinions and judgement. I relate cuz I love pretty makeup! Again, thank you so much Nikki! I'm so grateful that I have found you!!!🫶🫶🫶
Argh.. Australian dollar sucks at the moment. $105 for the givenchy prisme libre loose powder at sephora over here, will be on my wish list when they have a sale. Love your channel nikki! great advice with such a nice calming voice
The absolute best help for me, Kristie Amadore (this is my husbands no ad account) is when you’ve had an issue such as very dry and mature skin and haven’t been able to use a setting powder bc ‘all’ the reasonable priced ones were horrible on my skin. Now I know it is worth spending a little more on the CT setting powder. I’m very grateful for this video. 🙏🏼
Nikki, love your videos and your vibe. You are so calm. I’m a 1000% sure your recommendations are on point but I cannot justify the price point for any of them 😂 I love your opinions/thoughts/advice on makeup products either way! I always learn so much from you. Sooo thank you for all the work you do!! ❤❤
100% best beauty content on the web, the most real, you are so genuine in your advice, tips and tricks, my makeup application has improved since watching your videos. THANK YOU!!! Question can you please do a video all things TOM FORD or a video explaining properly how to use the shade and illuminate from TOM FORD, I have it and don't know really how to use it and like you said I tried to dig for tutorials but everyone is only using the contour part and not the highlight part. thank you xox
I only watched a few videos from you so I never heard until now that you like the givenchy powders, I'm pretty happy now and confident for my choice because I bought it a few weeks ago. 😊
I’m addicted to your videos and makeup teachings! You’re stunningly gorgeous and I buy different beauty items that you suggest…..(hence why I’m watching this specific video!!)
Hiiii! I absolutely love your channel! I’ve seen you previously from Susan Yara’s channel and didn’t realize you had your own channel 😊 I also love the givenchy prism libre foundation! Worth a try as well!
Ok, firstly - you look STUNNING! That top!! Your hair - drop dead gorgeous 🤩 Thank you for this video, this is really helpful as a non MUA because I can afford to splurge on makeup that’s worth it sometimes. I have both Westman Atelier products and I agree. They’re gorgeous and it’s the full experience. I have another colour in the highlighter and I use it on eyes and cheeks but I’m excited to try under foundation like you mentioned. I’m tempted to get the Tom Ford now. And I’ll definitely get the Givenchy powder once I’ve run out of my others. I can skip the powder highlighters because I wear glasses and I feel it’s wasted. I’ve got the Elephant Hourglass palette which has 6 beautiful glowy powders I can use. I will definitely buy the Hourglass Veil but I’ll wait til I’ve finished the CT one. I have the CT finishing powder and I keep it in my bag to touch up. It looks beautiful and never builds up or looks cakey. I agree it’s not for oil control though. When I have a hot flash I use blotting paper first and then powder. Love you - happy Easter to you and Mitch xox

The Valentino foundation IS amazing!!
Absolutely Dior forever glow, Armani, Givenchy, worth the price, oh! CT powder make a difference in a stunning make up, thank you for your tip on ELF brown brow gel!!! It works so well you take care of all your viewers pocket 🥰
Your whole look in this video is stunning! That top and your hair girl slay
I’ve been dying to try the prisme libre loose powder and I saw that Sephora has it online in a mini for $40 so I’m getting it. 🎉❤
I agree the hourglass setting spray is superior especially if your makeup isn’t looking great. It will transform your makeup instantly. Worth every penny.
I bought the Ambient Lighting palette for touch ups for my wedding!
Love all your videos and you nikki!! Thank you for the 30days of lipstick combos..!!
I love everything and just subscribed with notifications on ❤❤ I love the HourGlass and Tom Fords highlighters as well…You have me thinking hmmm that I need to try to branch out to Givenchy ❤❤
Dear Nikki! Thank you very very much! Please make a second part of this video ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You got it!!!
Don’t apologize for choosing this products! We trust you and love luxury make up either, and need to now what worth it.
Nikki, I want you to know that I don’t use Chanel because I don’t really see them a lot in your videos. Lol. Thank you for making videos for us it helps ua save a lot of money! 😘😘😘😊
Cle de Peau face enhancer is so pretty.
Hourglass has a sale going on! 20% off. Also the Sephora sale is coming up so I’ll be adding your recommendations to my cart. Great video!
i love ur videos ur complexion looks so good i very much enjoy the charlotte tilbury powder nd also armany foundation to me that veil setting spray its the best no body talks about it
This is great. It’s overwhelming what we’ve been seeing around ❤❤❤
Rediscovering makeup over the last year. At a certain age you can’t just use anything. And I’ve spent a ton on this journey. But it’s worth having quality over quantity. I’ve tried most of the products here. Only Gucci products have been a let down except for the lip products
I am binging your videos now!!!! I love your detail on what you think about formula, cost, use, everything…Thankyou…
I'm so grateful that I have found you!!!🫶🫶🫶
I love your honesty! I love your tips and tricks! Btw your top is too cute!
Argh.. Australian dollar sucks at the moment. $105 for the givenchy prisme libre loose powder at sephora over here, will be on my wish list when they have a sale. Love your channel nikki! great advice with such a nice calming voice
Thanks nikki, so professional and creative ❤ love from London UK x
I LOVE your videos, I'd love to see a VIB sale recommendations video and maybe like a top 5 blushes, top 5 Bronzer, etc.
Congratulations Nikki for hitting the 100K. I've been watching and I'm just so excited for you and Mitch!
Your videos are wonderful! I love your thorough reviews and helpful descriptions. I look forward to all your videos! ❤
Such great detailed information!!! Thank you SO much for spotlighting these luxury products to splurge on!! Your videos are a MUST SEE!!!
My roommate used to buy bags off *suluxy* . I think she ended up spending almost the price of the bag she wanted . They were real leather .
I don’t know about the other ones! But That Armani foundation is omg 😍a dream come true! 💯 worth the pennies
Love your videos. Totally agree with the Givenchy powder, the Dior quad.
I’m so excited I found your channel. You’re so knowledgeable and talented. 💛🌻💛🌻
The pink highlighter❤loved it!
The cle de peau highlighters are so iconic in Japan!! Super popular. For a reason 😊
i LOVE your content! You are so knowledgeable and also concise. :)
Hiiii! I absolutely love your channel! I’ve seen you previously from Susan Yara’s channel and didn’t realize you had your own channel 😊 I also love the givenchy prism libre foundation! Worth a try as well!
Ok, firstly - you look STUNNING! That top!! Your hair - drop dead gorgeous 🤩
Thank you for this video, this is really helpful as a non MUA because I can afford to splurge on makeup that’s worth it sometimes.
Agree with your picks lovely!! And that top....❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!!
Refreshing to hear from a makeup artist’s perspective, thank you!
