With the MLB postseason wrapping up and the offseason looming, there's one last thing baseball fans can look forward to before the long offseason. And that's awards season! In this video, I go over numerous team and individual player accolades given out for the MLB during the month of November. Those awards include the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, the Cy Young Award, the Rookie of the Year (RotY), the Manager of the Year, the Team Gold Glove, the Team Silver Slugger, and the Hank Aaron Award. We've got classics and we've got some newcomers here with awards week rolling in that will announce the MVP, Cy Young, RotY, and Manager of the Year for both the National and American League. So, who's the most likely to take home Major League Baseball's most coveted awards, and which players look like they'll take it unanimously?

Hey everyone. So, I do address this at the end of the video, but I thought I’d mention again that I know that the finalists, Team Gold Glove, and Team Silver Slugger were announced the other day, but I didn’t change any of my predictions and just decided to stick with my original thoughts from when I wrote my script a month ago.
As for what’s next, I expect the next video to be shorter than this one and you might be able to see a hint for what it’s about from this one as well. I also wanted to take this time to say I appreciate everyone who’s watched, liked, subscribed, commented, or engaged in any way. It means a ton. I worked a lot to get this one out in time so I hope you all enjoy!
Pls keep posting the videos are so good
I've liked your channel for a while. Keep it up and you'll eventually blow up! The quality of your videos are so good for such an under the radar creator. Your time will come.
Thank you for sticking around!
Excellent video mate!
Very quality video. Keep up the good work!
It just makes me so sad about josh jung not even qualifying he’s going to age out as a rookie but because he missed almost a month he won’t be considered in the AL he would’ve won it hands down also think he should’ve been nominated for a gold glove but I think Jose still should’ve won it
Jung’s injury was really unfortunate, I thought he had the RotY in the bag back in June. But, he’s got plenty of years ahead of him with a really good team.
@@ABrandNewBallGame yeah but it’s been his game since he was drafted injury issues or else he would’ve been starting since 2021
@@randompolishguy6476 The thumb fracture was a freak injury at least so I'm hoping for the best for him!
what a great video! just found your channel, keep it up man
First time watching your channel great video
I’m obviously biased because I’m an Orioles fan, but I don’t see how Bradish isn’t even top 4 for the Cy Young with how well he performed in the second half of the season (2.2x ERA, ~10 K/9) and the sheer fact that he has a sub-3 ERA.
I'm a lifelong O's fan myself. I really hope Bradish returns to form when he comes back from TJ surgery this season. We really need Grayson to make a big step forward too.
First of all, this was a fantastic breakdown, I really enjoyed it and subscribed.
HOWEVER, AS AN OBNOXIOUS RANGERS FAN:
Rangers had FIVE all star starters, you missed Jung. In fact, Adolis only started since Judge was hurt, but Jung was a true starter. I know he absolutely should not and will not place highly for ROTY, but I felt that it might have been worth mentioning that he was the front runner for the award (or at least tied with Gunnar) prior to the injury. He and Carroll were the first rookies to start an all-star game since Judge did it in 2017.
Such a stupid nitpick, and ultimately not relevant to the conclusions of who will win the award, but Jung is one of my favorite Rangers on this team, and I felt compelled to whine a little bit lol.
as another OBNOXIOUS RANGERS FAN i could not agree more with everything you just said lol
No, you're right. Mentioning the all-star starters was a late addition and I must've not double checked to see if I had it fully correct. That's my bad, I'm seriously not sure how I forgot to mention him.

20:10 "Orioles just achieved so many major milestones"
The Rangers won the WORLD SERIES
This is an award based on the regular season and was voted on before the playoffs began. They can’t predict the future my friend.
@@ABrandNewBallGame and Josh Jung started the all star game as a rookie, and led all categories (including fielding), until he got hurt in mid august and missed 4 weeks...and all of a sudden everyone forgot about him. He easily should have been a gold glove finalist as well, if not winner. I find it comical that you have him at 5th....He only had 4 less HR than Henderson, 12 Rbi, .010 points less OBP, but had a better batting average, all in 30 less games. id also bet the farm that he has a monster '24 and blows these other guys out of the water.
-side note- Its just insane to me how little credit everyone is giving the rangers across national media and youtubers alike (not saying you btw), all saying the same "they werent that good this year" narrative.... while they led every statistical category on offense all year, and were on pace to eclipse the Murderer's Row Yankees of the 30's...had 6 guys on the field at once during the all star game, had a cy young candidate till he got hurt in August, and had the best starter's ERA until then as well.. They had a bad August where everyone got hurt, and all of a sudden it was like everyone just thought they were that bad all year, and thus, that was literally the narrative that all the 'pundits', 'experts', and youtubers pushed lol. Oh well, they got the last laugh and are now the champs. I no longer care what narrative anyone else is trying to push lol. As someone who literally watched all 162 games this year for them, i KNEW how special of a team it was this year. Now it will forever live on.
I totally hear ya! I think Bochy deserves it just as much as Hyde and he very well could win it, I was just trying to think in the mind of the average MLB voter. As for Jung, I thought he was great, but the month hurt just hurts his RotY chances significantly. I hope I gave the Rangers enough credit though throughout the video. I really enjoyed watching them this year and I think they’re going to be even better next year.
