@@mikelsarobe3934 Sportwagen TDI mk7. I also tweked the diferencial in VCDS, and now it behaves like a limited slip, it comes out of the corners like if it was on rails. Super sporty!

I used racechip for a while but in the end unplugged it because of dsg massive jerking on upshifts on full throttle. Not so healthy for mechatronics i guess ( Cupra 300 4x4 )

Honestly being in 2021 with all the cars locked boost controllers are all we have no remaps available on cars manufacture after July 2020

The boxes are absolute crap. But a remap is only safer if done by someone who actually knows what they're doing. I've done it in all of my cars, not one complaint.

@@lmomente Chips or secondary ECUs only have access to a limited amount of values they can change. Like Boost pressure and fuel pressure. With a remap you can modify even further values like ignition timing. But you can fuck up a lot more as well.

I have a Racechip on my 2016 Subaru Levorg and it works. 0-100kmh its 7.5s.

Nice to see that racechip can actually deliver as it was sometimes critcized in the past. Still would make more sense to buy the clubsport at that price difference. Would be interesting to see how much more power they could get out of that slightly modified ea888 engine

@@sophiawoods6748 the gts with the bluetooth is 550 ish. if the chip damages you engine directly they will pay to replace it.

1000 km later! Engine lights on & Dsg problems like Internal high pressure hydraulic leaks etc 😀
Surprisingly VAG madr car handles Stage 2 quite well.

There aren't any reputable folks in my area that would tear apart the transmission and Audi wanted $6500 for a refurbished unit. The inner bearings were shot and it needed clutch packs and a new mechatronics.

Racechip is a German Chip Tuning Company.
The 'Racechip' fitted to this car is an ECU remap device fitted to the car that can be activated for now performance or deactivated when you want the vehicle to be returned to factory stock.

Is it only me or is the speedo less accurate with the Racechip "ON" when compared to the gps speed

The GPS device would have a slight lag in the refresh rate due to it processing the speed data via satellite triangulation.
So if the the car is accelerating at a higher rate, the delay in the refresh rate would be more noticeable.
That being said, the Racechip doesn't have anything to do with the speedo reading.
The ECU reads the values from the gearbox speed sensor directly.

Something wrong in about 5000 RPM on race mode..
Happens a lot on the highest settings. At least from all the information I gathered added to my own. My BMW F22 220d does vibrate a lot around 2500rpm. Thats why i keep it on 4/6 on my Racechip GTS

Would I fuck fit one of these boxes to my car. The only way to go is a custom map. What makes it hilarious is the fact that a custom map in many occasions is cheaper than tuning boxes
Without 4wd is pointless to give it more hp. Frontwheeldrive works till about 200 hp.

Ich nutze einen und bin sehr begeistert. Hatte auch schon vorher Boxen in meinen Fahrzeugen verbaut. Nie Probleme gehabt auch wenn viele hier wiedermal Phrasen dreschen... klar ist eine richtige Software besser. Aber nicht immer kommt Software in Frage, beispielsweise Leasing Fahrzeuge oder Fahrzeuge innerhalb der Hersteller Garantie.
@@Sierra-hk8jw sehe ich genauso. Bin seit Jahren bestens zufrieden und habe schon mehrere Boxen verbaut. Einwandfrei!
Ob Software oder Chip / Box man kann es auslesen das eine Box installiert war .
Ergebnis sieht gut aus , bin mir nur nie sicher weil da werte vor gegaukelt werden die nicht sind .
@@chrischerofficel1696 hmh. Ich kann nur für mich sprechen und sagen, dass Mercedes beim Service keine Racechip erkannt hat, nachdem ich diesen ausgebaut und den Fehlerspeicher gelöscht habe. Wenn man allerdings ein automatikgetriebe hat, speichert dies wohl auch die übersteigerten Parameter und NM, sodass man dies im CPC nachweisen kann.
Ein großer Nachteil der Software Optimierung ist auch, dass die Optimierung nach einen Motor Update wieder weg ist und wieder erneut aufgespielt werden muss. Bei mir wäre dies bereits zwei mal der Fall gewesen, da es bei MB öfters ein Motorupdate gibt.
@@KolumbusGamer richtig, ich baue die Box auch vorher immer aus... war noch nie ein Problem. Die würden die Nutzung einer Box nur erkennen, wenn sie gezielt danach in den Werten suchen würden. Tuen Sie aber nicht. Seit mehreren Jahren schon so... und das bei mehreren Marken... bei meinem letzten Wagen, ein a6 aus 2016 habe ich mal beim TÜV machen sogar die Box drin gelassen und es hat keinen gejuckt... 1. Guckt der Prüfer nicht unter die Haube, und 2. Aktiviert sich sie Box nicht im Stand. Somit war auch die AU kein Problem.

When I used the term "standard" I meant a regular Gti... you should try and safe money and buy that and then modify it..
I love my gti’s but the new ones sound like shit. Maybe I’m spoiled by my Mk4 vr6. Either way, they aren’t one of the few 4 cylinders out there that sound good

It is a lot better to get your car tuned on a DYNO than using RaceChip. There's a reason they only provide warranty for cars

Ganz normal da erstens 10% +4km/h laut EU Richtlinie erlaubt sind und zweitens minimale Reifenprofilveränderungen dies beeinflussen.War noch immer so und wird auch immer so sein. Da gibt es noch wesentlich grössere Abweichungen als hier
@@dill8498 mag ja sein, dass es so sein DARF. Wenn ein Megane RS aufm Tacho 256 sagt, dann ist er genau so schnell, wie der GTI im Video. Weil der Tacho hier aber deutlich optimistischer ist, denkt der Großteil, dass der Megane langsamer ist..
@@MrEdellas Ist bei meiner B-Klasse genauso. Wenn der Tacho 245 zeigt, dann fahre ich auch 245kmh. (Selbst per GPS nachgemessen). Habe schon einige schmollende 7er Gti Gesichter im Rückspiegel gesehen ;)

Wait a minute 300hp and 6.2 seconds 0-100? That's crap isn't it? A BMW 520d with 190hp and about 350NM i think does that time and it weights in at about 2 tons
Front wheel drive, cant put power down haha. My standard MK7.5 GTI with 230BHP struggles not to spin on launch in first and second gears but does it in same time as this near enough. 300Bhp just too much, it’s got more power than a golf R with 4wd. It’s fast once it’s moving though!
a 520d does is it 7.5 seconds. Fwd cars are traction limited, if you want to get below 6 seconds you need really sticky tires. In a fwd car you won't gain any real improvement in 0-100 above 230 hp ish.
The 6.2 is the time annouced by the brand, for the stock engine, so 245hp, the time of the 0-100 for the 300hp improve doesn't appear in the video

He?. Dies hier ist der normale GTi. Er leistet durch den Racechip nun 300PS unf ist fast genauso schnell wie der Clubsport mit regulären 300ps.

RACE CHIP is junk! Stay well and clear away from it! Yes you get increased performance but NOT smooth performance! It is not made for you car specifically! All engines are different! Very unsmooth and twitchy engine from this junk! And noone else can go into the box and fix it!

The engine it's getting really hot at 110 degree oil temp .. Damn, new engines are so unreliable :D
Dude, 110 celsius is still operating temperature for engine oil and it is normal for it to get hot when the engine is at so high rpm´s for so long, but oh well the youtube mechanics know better

its even low actually. gen2 2.0tsi (210-211hp) easily goes to 120+ at hot env.
All fine if under 120 degrees.
Reading people's comments like 🤡.
1. Oil getting over 100+ degree, often it looses its lube properties, it gets very thin.
2. The engine gets very hot, due then oil getting thin, friction (meta to metal) in the engine might happend.
3. Engine reliability gets worse
4. To have that engine reliable of you use it in a racing application or on autobahn like that for top speed, you need to change the oil at max 5k km.
5. My 2.0 Tfsi 600 hp golf mk5 doesn't get past 100 degree oil temp after 5 runs 100-300kmh. And it's very healthy.
