Got a 2020 cupra 290 i leased from brand new and considering slapping one on for the last year of lease now and probably they have tweeked the boxes for more by now. The guy with the saw and 2x4 looking to tune shit old style was hilarious. Interesting video guy’s 👍🏻🏴

A decent stage1 will make more power. I’m 383 with same mods stage1..
Torque, after running box and a stage 1.... demote in the map...
But, almost double the cost of the box...
But, that does include a dsg box remap to..
Boxes are good for xyz, like mentioned in video...
Also, if manual, and have clutch issues, you can remove box/turn it down/off... map you can’t

Definitely more torque in remap over box... but.. is a high torque stage1. I’m running.

Boys, you’ve changed the exhaust and air intake - if warranty becomes an issue you might have some explaining to do. Also, the ECU is still recording fault codes. If there is a problem and it shows above standard boost levels it doesn’t take a detective to work out you’ve been using a bolt on chip…

I tried one and for me anyway made no difference…..they accepted the return. BUT: There throttle map box 100% worked and is ace…!

Joshua Minke yeah from an unknown independent that does copy paste generic maps! We dont like them 😏
@@yashofficial___ I had mine independently done, gave me an extra 49hp. Cost £270. Went onto the website for the company you used in this video. And it claims I will only 26hp extra. Been running it for 2 years now, no issues 👍

AFR??? I'm interested to see original AFR and the AFR after installing the Racechip. And how affect the ignition timing, can the ecu correct or no??? That's the real questions.

Hey, I still have warranty on my golf 7.5 r non opf, what about stage 1 does it void my warranty and is there an option to keep the warranty but still have stage 1, maybe this racechip tuningbox a good option for that?

Numpty question here. I'm trying to fit a GTS Black to my 2019 Skoda 272 engine (Golf R). Racechip are closed for the weekend, just when everyone's installing their stuff :-( Did your GTS Black come with 2 sets of connectors or 3? My instructions only talk about connectors A and B. What about connector C? Does yours have that? Thanks in advance.

Mine too - 3 connectors, but instructions only talk about A and B. Any chance you could find out where C connects to, please?

Some are almost fakes (10€ resistor in a soap box) and some seem to work pretty well. I am not making a Rally Sport Car but need some boost to my old Volvo D5 engine. I believe it has been very mildly tuned as stock.

What tune setting with the gts did you feel the most power? I've tried race mode in my 2016 VT and sport maxed settings and feel absolutely zero difference.

I don't understand the language well, so what has been the difference between the S chip vs the black gts chip? I have the S chip and I don't know if it is convenient to buy the black gts. Thank you.
The S is the low entry option and the GTS black is the best option
