I did our bathroom in Down Pipe with pretty standard white subway tiles and it's wonderful. They really balance each other and plants (greens) or wood just POPS.
It’s really dawning on me lately how invaluable this channel is becoming for me. The combination of color theory combined with the actual paint colors available to us is just brilliant! Thanks, keep em coming! After F&B (which I’m loving); can we do Portola paints? So interested in the Roman Clay options they offer!

I just painted my formal dining room this colour. I have mid tone oak trim and burgandy window dressings. I got to say it is a 10 out of 10 for me! The right amount of drama for this 30' x16' room.

I currently have this in my bedroom and I really do like it - A LOT! But, I’ve had it for about 5 years and my new bedroom is getting Lucy Blue from Valspar, for a change. Yes, Please! Hi there, so Benjamin Moore's Kendall Charcoal is close but tends to read less cool even though it's grey because of its undertones. For something warmer, have a look as Ashwood Moss although it's a tad darker. :)
Hi there! Love a dark blue cabinet with gold handles. Nice to have the white uppers also, so it's not too overwhelming. A popular choice is: Benjamin Moore Hale Navy HC-154, but if that's too moody for you, you can also have a look at, Benjamin Moore Van Deusen Blue HC 156, which is a bit brighter with a gray undertone. Good for a smaller space. Sherwin-Williams Naval SW 6244 looks awesome with white, but it is quite dark, so works best in a kitchen with some natural light. Hope that helps get you started! Have fun, it's going to look great!
