I just got my MA2 a week ago. Prior to its arrival, I spent HOURS watching instructive videos on UA-cam so I was ready to go. Yours are the best. You assume I know nothing (TRUE!). I take a few notes on an index card and head out. I just need to get back to NYC when this pandemic is over. Thanks for a great job!

Great video as always. I just purchased a Mavic Air 2 yesterday to add to my my Mini 2 and Smart Controller collection already. I had watched multiple videos before purchasing the Air 2 and not one of them showed the zoom. I love that on the Mini2. Great to have it on the Air 2. The DJI Fly app has changed in the over a year since this video. Wish the video resolution selection was like the old version instead of having to click at the bottom of the screen. Keep up the great work. Always enjoy your videos.

What an epic feature! I didn't even realize it was there. I also didn't realize how smooth the zoom feature would work using the gimbal controls. I only wish I had one of these for my phone. Consider me subscribed.
Great video tutorial with samples. It showed me features of the Mavic Air 2 I didn't know existed! Namely, the Fn+Scroll Wheel. +1! However, I'm big into post-processing my shots. The zoom capability in the drone is super cool! However, it doesn't offer anything you can't do in post-processing when shooing in 4K Wide. Plus, it adds a level of complication to the act of flying the drone. If you're trying to boost your flying skills and/or eliminate post-processing, go for it! This is all great advice. Thanks for sharing.

Damn bro! You are the man! I had no idea that this existed. This is my first drone. I bought the fly more combo with a Pelican case from a guy off Facebook for $700 cash. It only had 15 minutes on it. This is my first drone and I absolutely love love love love this thing. The one feature that I was wishing that it had was Zoom. And it had it the whole time! I'm going to like share and subscribe multiple times for you my man

I didn't know you could do continuous zoom! Thanks bro... went and tried it right away. :) I noticed the speed of the zoom when using the function button+gimbal wheel changes smoothly and is controllable, but not with the onscreen tap-hold very well at all (tends to jump in stages when trying to slow it), so that's another reason to use the function button+gimbal wheel.

GREAT VIDEO!! The only thing I don't understand is why you can't do the zoom with HDR. The hdr on the mavic air 2 is probably the best I've ever seen in a drone. It is so good that most of the time you don't even need to do post-processing if you don't want to.
Processing the HDR onboard the drone, utilizes a lot of processing power and DJI probably couldn't add the Zoom feature to this as well, as it might put too much load on the processor and compromise the safety of keeping the drone in flight, sensors in operation and camera functioning at the same time while flying. I anticipate the new Mavic 3 Pro having these features as it should have much more powerful processor onboard the drone. I hope this helps. Happy Flying 😃
