I had mp1. Today was my 1st flight with air2. It is so relief to have so easy accessible the active track that anyone can make cinematic shots with ease. If they just had available the gimbal pitch speed setting like mp1 then it would be fantastic.
Hey. I just got a MA2 and havnt flown it yet. I found your videos and must say you do a great job explaining everything. Quick informative and to the point and easy to understand and follow along. Great job.
This is good info, thank you! Funny... @ 7:20 ... Your car is going so slow, you have a trail of like 6 cars wondering why you are going so slow... Lol...
POI mode is a great alternative to active track, where you want to be able to adjust the angle and distance of the subject on the fly. For videoing eFOIL,,windsurfers etc, select the subject, select POI mode and adjust the speed arrow on the screen to exactly match the speed of the subject. As the subject speeds up or slows down you can drag the speed arrow to either fall behind, move in front,or stay alongside, while still keeping the subject in frame. You can adjust your distance, and height as you go..
Thru your videos I learned the basics of what it takes to fly a DJI mavic Air 2. I registered the drone with the FAA, for $5 got my recreational flyer number and official registration. I am an rc flyer helicopters and fixed wing. Had quadcopters years ago wo cameras. Read thru the DJI manual things like, not to take off from anywhere else except at sea level. No balconies or from high rises like in NYC or Jersey City where I am close by. Supposedly, it would distort the RTH due to difference in elevation. I have not even unboxed my drone more so charger the batteries in the fly more kit. Have seen you operating your drones from inside of your car, take if from your hands or roof it your car...all against the manual???? Right now, I'm more concentrated in flying the drone and the photography will come later in time for fall season. Haven't been flying my helicopters since the pandemic except for a smaller scale model to keep me up to date on my flying skills specially the aircraft orientation. Am a senior retiree and the pandemic has placed a toll on my passion for aviation. Your videos among many I have watched is the most informational stuff. Learned a lot but want to ensure that assisted flying unlike my conventional rc knowledge over the years would complement my aging reflexes. Thanks.
Hello! New to the channel, new to droning, and just received my Mavic Air 2 about three weeks ago! Due to work, have only flown it three times. You’re videos are great and make me feel more comfortable trying all these features! Great Job!
Hey man. Been looking at a few channels for drone tips. came across yours. looking forward to using your tips in my videos! keep up the great work. Your videos are great.
Great video, doing our first POI shots for our business this afternoon, filming our truck and trailer leaving our yard. I’ll let you know how that goes. Keep up the good work!
Excellent video. If you have seen the Moment variable ND filter for the Mavic Air 2, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Only having to carry and put on one filter would be nice.
Mate- your videos kill me😂.. love it how you do them from the comfort of Your car! 😂😂💪brilliant!! I’m from the UK so find it hard to comprehend given your climate? Great video though pal..
Awesome tutorial! 2 questions. 1, where is that? The building with all the graffiti looks great. Wonderful vid. I love the shot where you almost hit the trees! 2, I noticed some of the video was a bit choppy. Why is that? I saw some videos complaining about this.
Hi my friend lovely vid and would love to get this going on my MA2(with smart controller). But no matter what I do I can't get the green box to appear and highlight the subject. I've done it in the quickshots so I know it can work. Ive got close to te subject waved my arms etc but no luck. I am filming in 1080 24/25 fps it must being something simple I am missing I am pulling my hair out.
As always great teaching videos. When you are in POI and orbiting how fast can you drive and have the drone keep up? While it’s circling can you control the speed as in spotlight?
You have any tips for how I can make decent video up here in the arctic clima in north of Norway? It is almost completely dark every hour of the day now, and the sun won't show up again until late january, midt february, so I need some tips for lightning. And forget obstacle avoidance this time of year with original setup. Any flashlight that are bright enough and mavic air 2 compatible to get the obstacle avoidance working, and filming at least 10-20 meters ahead? Btw, great video and tutorial of the different tracking modes 👍
I agree with the great comments, you explain these settings well enough to take the nervous that i would feel flying my £900 mavic with these settings and options 👍👍👍
Congratulations Corbin I'm loving MA2 I hope you enjoy Will do 👍 Thanks for sharing Happy Flying 😎 #TellOthersAboutDroneXfactor & #HitNotifcationBellForMoreVideos
thanks, very helpfull video! question: in all these focus track modes is the drone with forward sensor allways pointed to the object, why that? but it must use the camera also to trace the object? I saw you moving the gimbal up and down. the ma2 has also wide sideways gimbal movability. have you used that too? br from Switzerland
Mate, great work! thanks for all the info bro, easy to follow, I have been mad crazy for drones after getting the Air 2 last year, I have been Droning up a storm, its a great way to explore and create, cheers, take care dude.
I've not got one yet but would like one. Quick question, when you push forward on the stick does the drone in these modes always fly towards where the camera is facing? Ie how do you know the camera is not facing to the side or does it not do that? Hope that's no a stupid question.
Excellent information friend, I completely ignored the potential of the spotlight mode. I just have a question Even with spotlight mode activated, the drone can dodge obstacles so that it continues to follow you (like active track mode) as you keep only pressing the right stick. (example, a tree was crossed in front of the drone) Regard my friend!!
It will continue to dodge obstacles in p mode, not sports mode! Remember, it will only dodge obstacles in the front and the rear of the drone, not the sides. Only reason I didn't hit the trees at the side of me when following the car, was because I knew how high the trees were compared to my height. #safetyfirst Happy Flying 😎
Good, clear explanation of the feature. You also showed some additional things you can do while it is tracking. Without knowing you can change things, I would be reluctant to do while flying. Now, I'm not.
Thank you for the awesome videos, as a fellow New Yorker, where did you film in LI? I would like buy the Air 2, but I need advice. Should I but it from DJI or Amazon? I'm concerned that if I get a defective drone it may be harder to get a replacement from DJI. I understand DJI gives discounts on future purchases but I rather know I will have a smoother return, if it has to be returned, hopefully not!
If you get a defective drone, DJI will replace it or fix it. If you buy from a outside distributor like Amazon, if it's defective you can return yours to Amazon and get your money back within 30 days. If anything happens after that 30 days, that's between you and DJI. I ordered direct from DJI because I save tax and shipping and I know if there's anything defective, they will replace it because I purchased it from them. A lot of those stories you're hearing about when DJI discounts, it's mostly because of an accident / crash and owners are trying to get them replaced for free. Thanks for sharing Happy Flying 😎 #TellOthersAboutDroneXfactor & #HitNotifcationBellForMoreVideos
droneXfactor Happy Father’s Day! I want you to know that before buying the Air 2 yesterday I spent over two months checking out UA-camrs who fly drones. You were the last one that I discovered and seriously the most professionally done videos I have seen. You have a natural talent for teaching. As a Harlem born brother, I’m glad to see the representation. BLM! Siempre Pa’Lante!
“Orbits the crap out of it”? I’m not sure that was necessary. Lol Regardless, nicely done. You’ve convinced me to make the Air 2 my next drone, in addition to flying a Mini 2. Questions for you. Where do you get your music? And which editing software? Thanks!
Thanks for this bud, im very new to the drone world and i got this drone as my 1st drone. this is a fun new tip. Im looking forward for your future videos
Can’t thank you enough for all your informative videos. I’m a drone newb and I’m learning a tremendous amount of information and tips thanks to you! Sincerely, New Subscriber 👊🏻😎
Question for droneXfactor - what video editing software do you use/recommend? I’m want to buy, not subscribe monthly, a software good for beginners but also robust to edit drone videos.
Great video! Cool options! I will try them as soon as posible. :-) Is the PGYTECH ND Filter better than that from DJI of the fly more combo? Or is that good enough?
did you customize the top right display? i dont remember mine saying RC next to the bars, also the sensors icon is to the left of the bars... am i wrong?

Best video about using the point of interest I've seen!
You are the the first person I’ve come across to explain this in a way that makes sense! 👍🇦🇺
Congratulations you're the only person I've seen who is able to make the active tracking work correctly following a vehicle
This video just answered the questions on my mind since the release of this drone! Thanks!
Your videos are right to the point. You’ve earned a subscriber. Be safe there in NY. Great shots of pilgrim state!!
Thank you I do my my best.

This is the best video with the demo of these features. Great work. Subscribed to your channel to see more of Mavic Air 2 videos. Thank you.

Pretty cool. Very nice editing. Did my very conservative maiden fight this morning with my new MA2. Looking forward to using the advanced features.
Awwwwesome Video, my friend!
This has driven new life to me & my Mav’Air2!
Please keep ‘em’ coming!
Great video, right to the point without telling the history of the drone.
Your videos are always so well explained, detailed and precise! You have NO IDEA how helpful that is. Thanks for your time, bro!
Thanks for sticking to the topic and fully explaining it!

A question, how to access flight log at DJI cloud... where it is synced and stored.
You have a nice demeanor, and a pleasant, listenable voice which adds to the instruction. Yes, i subscribed!
Great vidéo as usual,, question,, can you POI any moving object ? like a skier, a windsurfer ?
You are my favourite drone channel!!! Greetings from germany. Here its cold and rainy. I envy you. Thanks to your wife too, who drove the car :-)
