- I don’t hold any ill will towards the individual who made THAT video, yet I can’t help but feel the title and thumbnail are very misleading and overgeneralized, when the majority of the video was about one single person, rather than the “community”. I mean, it’s twitter, what else did you expect… you’ll find these people everywhere, in every fandom, as long as you’re on twitter. Does that mean the entire community is awful, and you shouldn’t be a part of it? I highly doubt that.
If the person who made that video is watching this: Hi, no hard feelings. I absolutely support you, and I wish you all the best.

I never really saw too much of the “bad side” of the Omori fandom(I think)
What I’ve seen from the community is that people are either really nice and wholesome, insanely amazing artists, silly chaotic people with a dark sense of humor, or combinations of the three :]

I can agree for the most part but I really hate the dark sense of humor stuff. I have one, and I frequently use dark humor
Problem is that similar to DDLC, so many jokes just are “lol Mari hang” and I really hate it. When ppl oversimplify and mock dark material rather than make jokes acknowledging how sad it is, then it’s no longer dark humor, it’s just edgy humor.
Basically it’s the difference been DDLC jokes vs Persona 3 jokes.

This is so touching... One of the main reasons I wanted to play omori is because I wanted to be a part of this wonderful community. Omori is really a life changing game. It played with my emotions and made me cry several times. I still explore new content in game and enjoy watching fan stuff. This community is really talented.

THIS IS REAL. THIS IS A PSA TO ALL COMMUNITIES HONESTLY.
Sorry if my video seemed overly bleak. I have had a lot of positive experiences in the fandom, and it's important to talk about that too, but I did want to bring attention to the parts that could be improved. Making a Twitter account doesn’t automatically mean you can’t make an account anywhere else though (in a perfect world it would) so I feel the "it's just Twitter" critism is overrated and undersells the problem.

Normalmente siempre pintan a un juego mal sin saber cómo es realmente, Omori tuvo que pasar por una ola de hate descomunal, la verdad es que no se lo merecen.
Omocat también tiene un aprecio muy grande a sus fans, para mí la historia y marketing (aunque no he podido comprar casi nada por no tener plata jsjsjs) son increíbles y también dentro de poco abra un Manga....¡la verdad que me alegra que aún la comunidad siga viva!

I've kinda been avoiding the fandom for a while for obvious reasons, but honestly, it's probably still one of the best things that ever happened in my life and I'm really glad that I discovered it.
To think that the only reason why I'm seeing the negative side is because of people bringing the blue bird app users to the spotlight 💀... This changed my recent views on the fandom, thanks for that. It's great to actually see some positivity about this.

At first I thought this would be a joke video about trashy fandoms (i never saw the bad side of this community, i'm new here) but after watching the video, I felt very warm and fuzzy inside and was thinking about what makes me truly happy and matter the most, my friends. The fact I've already seen most the videos and arts in this video, 7/10 VIDEOS I'VE WATCHED AND A BUNCHA ARTS FROM THIS. WHICH LOOK AT HOW MUCH OMORI CONTENT IS OUT THERE, THAT IS SAYING S0M3TH1NG. Seriously though, If your a fan of omori or you arent a fan of omori or you have a disliked opinion towards it for controversies, I really recommend you watch this. AND I RECCOMEND YOU WATCH ALL THE ORIGINAL VIDEOS SHOWN THEY ARE LITERALLY AMAZING AND IN THE DESCRIPTION!! This itself made me emotional of all the memories and just everything within the community, if you don't know what omori is then I highly recommend this to you! Trust me, the game is worth it. This video could give you a first good impression feel of the community and the game. OMORI is one of the best fandoms I’ve ever been in. even though I’ve never been in a lot, I can tell this is as good at it gets. I love this game and I love all the things that people make in appreciation to it. Of course there’s always going to be bad things in it, but there’s plenty of good things to! :D thank you OMORI! You really changed my view on myself and made me feel so utterly horrible in the best way possible T v T

while the happy go lucky stuff usually has terrible communities

Embrace the good side.', remember those words when you think about communities that're considered 'toxic' or 'bad'. Amazing, talented artists/animators, mod creators, and welcoming sub-communities are proof that the OMORI community isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. You never know what you'll stumble across unless you truly give it a chance.♥

Omori will always have a special place in my hearts. Fandoms will have up and downs it’s true you can’t stop people from being well human beings but besides that Omori is great and final duet hits differently after you finish the gam in my opinion
Oh man. Cinavee's animatic of hero's grief is what pushed me to really get into Omori. I pushed off liking Omori for too long because I knew I'd get too invested. Hero's relationship with his brother and Mari hit something deep in me emotionally.

I encourage people to interact with media they enjoy no matter the others in the fandom, I say we just stop being idiots and focus on the good stuff, the bad and toxic people can fade away into irrelevancy.

I remember crying really loudly for an hour after i finished the good ending. I can't listen to Final Duet without crying anymore. This game changed my life. For the better or for the worse. Maybe both. But the point is i wish i could play this game for the first time again.

i think i started playing this game sometime in 2022, im not really too active in the fandom but i gotta say its probably the best one i've ever come across. i know that every fandom has its bad apples but yet i barely see any of that kinda stuff on youtube. everyone is just showing off their creativity and appreciation for the game

Recently UA-cam and the rest of social media in general caters heavily towards negative/drama content. People are very gullible and make assumptions quickly and it sort of led people to really doubt the Omori community as a "nice" one even though it's been mostly positive since the game came out, I feel like eventually someone would cash in on making another "Insert community drama is insane" video. + it's been god knows how long since the last "omori community is nice" video which sadly got taken down bc of the hate it got. This is a breath of fresh air, and isn't one of Omori's messages about spreading a positivity instead of fueling hatred?

I think a lot of people like to focus on the bad side of every community and ignore the thousands, if not millions of people, who are passionate about whatever that fan base is for. It happened with Undertale, it happened with Omori, pretty much every game or show that I love, people focus on the bad parts of the fandom just to focus on a few idiots saying things on Twitter. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. The internet will be the internet. We can’t change that, but we can choose not to focus on it.
Or not. I’m just another dumb kid on the internet. I can’t change anything through this comment.

Random, but just seeing r/place on there reminded me that I was able to participate in that. Honestly, I think we were all proud of our ability to make so many cool art pieces during that event.
Maybe i'm just lucky but i am fortunate to not have seen anything from the bad side of the Omori Community, and the luck keeps on rolling cause i manage to find this well-made and beautiful video.
