Considering the prices where Google's certificate would cost your around 500USD and the other one's costs about a whopping 9000 freaking Dollars , The Google Certificate wins by a massive margin.

I am doing the google one, but it lacks mentorship and career advice. I am thinking of switching to the CF one to be honest.

These courses can be expensive for a developing country due to the difference in monthly salary income, the average is under $300 per month

      It is :(
Google certificate may be a better choice given that there's free audit and financial aid.

I found the course good, I would have preferred some more blended learning with videos, but I think by having it as text it makes the content much easier for them to update the course which they do regularly.
I managed to land a job around a month after completing the job preparation course and the content around preparing your CV and for interviews was really helpful.
One other thing to mention is that you can also ask for access to their other paid courses, so I asked for access to their full UI immersion course. It is read only in the sense that you can't submit your work for assessment but it is nice to have all that reading material available and the tasks should you want to pracitce.

very nice thoughts about this Bootcamp. Just attened a webinar today with CF. They do offer a $1300 discount at the point. Also My first opion was exactly the same like yours: Seriously ?! you took my cash and let me do some readings in PDF. Finally not even guarenteed a background check/ project reference support ... This is just a study bubby pushes me to do readings... lol

Hello! Thanks for the great review :) would you be planning to review the CareerFoundry UI program as well? I’m thinking of joining that program but there hasn’t been much reviews about it :( primarily i’m wondering how rigorous is the course able to train a ‘design eye’ for those without a design background at all. Would definitely love to hear your thoughts on that if you ever do such a review!

I completed the CareerFoundry UX Design program a few months ago and I had an amazing experience there. Now I'm in the job search, which has been difficult at times but I have some opportunities waiting for me in the following days.
May I also ask how a junior can land a job in the current market?
As of recent, I also redesigned my resume using Google document as suggested in one of your videos, I'm hoping to see the results with my job application.

@@AlienaCai Thank you, the only real-life work I have is from a potential employer who asked to redesign a screen or two so they can determine if they would like to continue this partnership.
Those projects do help in the resume, however, I don't have metrics to prove how effective my work can be.
The one thing I haven't done is submit 15-20 applications a day. This is something I need to try!!
      Thank you once again!

Iam interested in UX design so now Iam doing the Google course for UX design. Actually Iam doing it for free since company which recommend this course, encouraged us to take this course , brought us free licence to attend .
I even searched for colleges which provide UX design course in my city , but the fees structure for 1 year is very high like they asked 2 lakhs in INR . I know design courses can be expensive but that Diploma course for a year and 2 Lakhs is very very expensive .
I checked out career foundry and its look very promising and I really wnated to take a course in career foundry and the fees also okay in my opinion compared to that 2 L .

Is CareerFoundry or NNG or something better than google? Absolutely. Does it also cost 20x more? Absolutely. I hope to do NNG someday but for now I can't afford that type of investment in a job that's so difficult to break into. So google+ADPList is going to have to cut it for now
