I remember how my dad would come home from work, after construction in 110f heat. He looked like he was coming home from battle. The other day I was coming home, beat down snd wore out. I seen my reflection and it reminded me of my dad, I was proud.
@J H lazy, no life experience, never amount to shit.
Bravo
You should be 👊 an honest hard days work feels good
@@ctdieselnut jh’s hands are probably softer than his grandmas
@J H GAY
Fuck yeah Bro..u should be proud! There's nothing more dignified than a man who gets up every morning and goes to work for his family.
"yeah i got a couple pounds of pot....... half the garage was full" lmao the way sammy says this sarcastically had me dying
He said "800 pounds in the back....".
It ain’t about what your parents leave For you, it’s all about what they leave In you that matters. Salute to you and your family Mr. Gravano!
Love it!👍
He ratted out his boss and family.....
You’re a real one.
@@Das_Ginge not the mob his real family are what they are talking about .
My father did 22 years in ny prisons. He taught me the best he Could. What he showed me was better than him handing me a bag of CA$H ......back then the GAME was sold not told so he was giving me free game,,,,the rest i learned myself.......one thing i know , beef is generational , it never dies. Be careful s.g.
That was literally the BEST story you ever told!
Remember in Bronx Tale when the father tells C about Sonny: He's wrong, it don't take much strength to pull a trigger but try getting up every morning day after day and work for a living, let's see him try that, then we'll see who the real tough guy is, the working man is the tough guy, your father's the tough guy!
HEY WAKING UP AS A GANGSTER IS NO WALK IN THE PARK EITHER🤑 THEY JUST HAD BETTER PERKS💯 BUT BELIEVE ME THE HARD WORK WAS GETTING DONE🤘🏽💯
@@bryanscarboddi1210 What about all those nickels his father stole from the bus lines?
@@bryanscarboddi1210 It’s a lot easier than waking up at 6am to go do labor work everyday and still struggling to pay the bills and put food on the table for your family and keeping your family together, I can guarantee that. Most “gangsters” I know are broke and don’t do anything all day except hangout and drink or smoke or whatever else. If you are talking about a wise guy when you say gangster then most of them are white collar criminals now and have regular businesses and jobs.
@@James_Edward59 yeah I get it I've been on both sides of the field alot of ppl think being in the life of crime is easy and that's just not true try selling a pound 1 gram at a time🤑 when you work you always know when and where you're money is coming from🤑 gets a bit mundane🤪 in that life you never know when you up⬆️ or down⬇️ just saying 🤘🏽pimpin ain't easy but somebody's gotta do it🤑🤘🏽💯
@@bryanscarboddi1210 for sure but in the end it don’t pay. You couldn’t pay me enough to miss my daughters’ birthdays, holidays, weddings etc. The life is good when everything is going smoothly but when the shit hits the fan it’s horrible.
After my grandmother died and my grandfather sold the house he moved to a retirement community. He had a stroke and moved to a assisted living facility in the same complex but not long after they recommended that we should put him in a nursing home. I was named after the man and wasn't going to let him get shelved. I quit my job and we moved into my Mother's house. Two years I bathed him, shaved him, cooked and spent every night in the hospital with him. He deserved it and I will always be grateful for his love and the time we spent together. Right or wrong, you always back your boys play!! You're the real thing sir! Thank you again for your honesty. 🦬💪🙋♂️❤
Love you brother. I did the same for my folks. I miss them so much.
I guess I'm blessed to do small things for my Grandma and grandpa! Thanks for reminding me
That also my brothers made you the Man’s Man.
May God bless everyone that loves and cares for their elders, just like the people in this thread! If we don’t take care of the very young and the very elderly, we are nothing.

Powerful and the truth. That's what it's all about, character. Excellent story Sammy.
Yeah, Sammy had a lot of character. Great guy to learn character from. Lmfao
You're very naive if you think he has "character". LMAO!!!
You know it’s getting real when Sammy takes a breath
Ha. Yep

Thanks for this story Sammy. I remember you when I was a kid and always respected you way before I found out how big you were. You carried yourself like a gentleman and it didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks again for this and all your stories.

That's actually pretty good.
That's good shit!

Sammy, it’s obvious you’ve lived a very Full Life and you’ve had to make life and death decisions. Now here you are, the old sage, full of wisdom and insights into what it takes to live an honorable life. It’s not the mistakes we make that define us, it’s how we come back from those mistakes that develops our character. I appreciate your sharing these incredible stories. Be well.
Well said.
Totally agree with you Charles. I feel if Sammy had taken over instead of John Gotti. Things would have turned out very differently. I love the way Sammy puts feeling into his stories & you get a tiny insight to his humour too. I truly would love to meet Sammy. He is a lovable character but don’t get on his wrong side!
Wisdom!!
He's literally the poster child for dishonorable 🤣
It was very "full" except those 25 yrs in prison
This story ranks among his best because it was a true test of character building.
"True test of character building."? LOL!!
I like Sammy. He’s a real one, he would rather get his own than rip off someone he was friends with. That’s how it should be.
Never took a dime off nobody! 🤪

Lucky for him Sammy liked his kids!!😎😊
Most nicknames in most cultures are pretty unimaginative. In Australasia we just put a 'y' on the end of your surname. "Smithy". It wouldn't work so well with Italians.
I think he was related to Bobby lupo
Man this needs to be put into a movie. With voice overs of his thoughts and reasonings. Have it slow and atmospheric like Scorescese films. It would be great.
I’d watch seasons of his show.
What about an LGBTQ+ romance drama like Brokeback Mountain? But instead of cowboys, base it on wiseguys. John Gotti and Sammy the Bull can slurp spaghetti like that scene in Lady and the Tramp.
You remind me of my father. Once upon a time, all men had morale. Morals were replaced by money, at least in a fool's mind. You're the epitome of a man's man as my father was to me. Salue.
I wish these were a few hours long . Cant get enough .
None of the videos are long enough, I could listen all day. I am grateful there is a time limit though because I fear listening to Sammy would affect my other duties. I've not exactly lived a dull life myself but it's fascinating to me to hear about how others kicked lifes arse in ways so alien to my own. I'm honestly shocked that more people haven't subscribed.
@2Socks StreetBrothers5: I Am Calm! I'm almost embarrassed to say that I've listened to Our Thing 5 full times . I drive a few hours a day for work and I listen to all of his videos, podcast, interviews, all of it . Hes just a fabulous story teller . Him and Charlie Murphy both are more entertaining than any talk show . One of the 21st century's biggest gangsters is a national treasure, as least in my book.

not acting on those temptations are what makes people different.
ThaT iz sumpthin, idnt it?

Take it easy! 👊

I've watched Sammy's videos for some time now but this story made me subscribe. It's good to know that for me being part of "this world" , and having the same moral standpoint as Sammy doesn't make me a full. Thanks Sammy. All the best to you.
What a man… every story you tell is a treasure Sammy. Thank you.
Yeah, what a honorable man he is for not murdering someone and stealing their money. Gimme a break
This video was very much worth the watch. For a man who has lived a colorful life (to say the least), you can feel the gravity and weight of introspection. His honesty and humor make it poetic. No matter what any say, Sammy is a great story teller and has the ability to paint a portrait of reality few can talk about, but somehow we understand innately.
Yeah, its stories we are lucky to hear.
Just stories.
Any analysis beyond that is pointless.
The smell was…enormous 😂😂
Honor your friends Sammy. When you do the right thing it comes back to you 10 fold in time. That was a great story. I also had to do the right thing when I couldve done the wrong thing. Great dads teach us great lessons when were young. Cheers bro.

Authentic & real as fuck OG Mafioso insight
cold blooded killer who still has a moral code Lol _No Country For Old Men_ came to mind
Moral code, except for murdering an innocent 16 year old. Blasted him in the chest then blew his fuckin head off. It was the wrong person in the end. He and his partner left an innocent 16 year old's brain splattered on the side walk. The clean up crew had to spray this kids brains and skull fragments into the gutter the next day.
Sorry to have to give you grizzly details, but you should know what you're dealing with here. Yeah maybe he's turned a new leaf, but this dude is a stone cold killer. Morals are forgotten by guys like this.

I've never seen so many people so impressed by something as basic as not murdering and robbing someone that trusted you and considered you a friend.
He put 30 mobsters in jail. Do you know how much devastation 30 mobsters can do? How many professional killers do you think are going to want to torture you and kill you for cooperating on 30 gangsters? You don't have balls like that. When have you ever put your life in jeapordy to help others? Sammy did some horrible shit, who hasn't? You've done horrible shit so how did you redeem yourself? Did you put an end to hundreds of crimes and prevent hudreds of murders? He is doing the best he can and has helped more people know whats going on, and what happened to their loved one's and all you will ever do is critisize everyone so go fuck yourself huh? I mean get the fuck outta heeere.
@@thebugalito what does that have to do with the topic at hand? I'm saying it's not impressive and doesn't make you a "man's man" to not betray, murder, and Rob a friend. I stand by that statement.
