The violinist at the start always get a few bars of other songs into this Hornpipe ...one year it was Fawlty Towers!

I love it ! after a few glasses of wine on a afternoon so typically British but fun us brits are not always stiff upper lip we like to have fun too ! and pomp and ceremony don't get me started ! no -one has the ability to do it better ! we are probably more patriotic than the yanks but not as loud(or heavy!)
@@duncanmckechnie4468 Heard this song for years growing up in Toronto, but never knew what it was called until just recently: I was reminded of a clip I saw before HM QE2 passed, of her and the family bopping up and down to this during her 2012 Jubilee. I always wanted to learn this on 1st violin but never knew the title. The Brits do it Best.

Why are these clowns waving the Eu flag? It is a celebration of being BRITISH and we are not part of Europe. We have stopped the Europeans for 800 years and now we have blocked the 4th Reich with Brexit. Seeing the Eu flag is offensive
If you look closer, there are actually quite a few non-UK flags in the hall.
And if you look closely most of the non-UK flags are Commonwealth flags but I would ask, why would Europeans come to a celelbration of being British? We fought off the Europeans for 800 years and more and won and now, we have Brexit. The flame of Trafalgar still burns bright in the UK

Mattias, oh we are not Europeans, we are British. The only screwing is the Germans screwing everyone, juust like they have always done. And now what Germany has achieved, is exactly what Hitler wanted, he would be proud. We British however, dislike you Eupropeans intensly that is why we have resisted and defeated Europe for 900 years! We will be returning to our natural family, the Commonwealth and leaving the stupid and greedy Europe to itself. We are not now nor ever have been a part of Europe
