I feel like with my current machine the power isn't good behind the steam. Do you feel like the steam from this machine is on the high end with good micro foam
you need to understand how a heat exchanger works. The brew chamber is housed within the steam boiler seperately and syphons hot water around the e61 to maintain temperature (but still overheats when not used hence the flushes)
No it is not, there are different versions of this machine, the original and this one has the joystick style steam and hot water wands. Internally and functionally the machines are the same.
@@julienb7600 This is just a different variation of the Pro 500 with the PID raised to the front of the machine that is brought in by a different importer. It does not replace other models.

Seconded! Love my Quicksteam Pro 500! This was my first machine (coming from Nespresso) and I don't regret my choice :D
If 500 was the the first than what you use now ? …. and how you reach 92 for the brew if the PID temperature from the boiler is 123 ?

How does this compare to the Profitec Pro 400?
Looks like you can move your steam wand further than the one on my machine. Is there anything I can change about that?
You might have a different steam wand, do you have the Quick Steam version or the original Pro 500 with Rotary Style knobs?

This is the older model, isn't it? A new model came out last year?

I have the Bezzera Magica that have similar valves, and they are always stuck. Overall, for me, these quick valves are now a turn-off.
How many grams do you put in?
It is hard to recall from a few months ago, we typically do 18g or 16g depending on the basket size.
