- Hey Phil Anselmo/Pantera fans!
I tried posting this video when it was recorded many months ago and it got blocked. Since then, I’ve learned a few tricks and I decided to make some edits and try posting it again! Phil sounded awesome in this recording. I re-worked this video for better audio than the original posting so I really hope this one sticks!

As I recall from this time, this song helped an album change the face of thrash metal. Pantera literally redefined (and saved) metal in the early 90's. Sure, other bands kept chugging out their brand and people still loved it all, but Pantera was fresh and exciting and would-be pioneers at a time when there was just the "usual" out there. Hair bands were declining, grunge was a bit different and not as "traditional"
Pantera created something that sticks to this day. Thank you Missy for checking this out, Thank you Pantera for helping us (confused) young adults through a weird time by giving us your best.

And 1 more add, someone please tell me (from experience) which mosh pits were worse than Pantera, I simply cannot recall anything more brutal starting in the late 80's in a Metallica pit up to Slayer, Korn, et al...
Pantera pits were so much fun and so brutal. 3 times I dove in at different Pantera shows and 3 times I left beaten, bloodied and smiling like a 2 year old with a piece of cake! 🤣
This was really enjoyable to watch her reactions to the ending was the same as mine!!! Truly surprised, taken aback, pleased if I can say that, and excited that the interplay between Phil and Dimebags guitar at the end made me smile and replay it, laughing in appreciation too! Every vocal coach that has reviewed this song has had the same surprised and delighted reaction to the unexpected ending.
R.I.P Dime and Vinnie hope you guys are shredding it up there as you have walked through the "Cemetery Gates"

If you want more high vocals, but a bit cleaner, try "That Time of Year" by Vinnie Vincent Invasion, "Never Let You Go" by Steelheart, or "Freight Train" by Nitro.

I wonder why the song intro is not in this music video. It really belongs to this song in my opinion.
Sadly it's the radio version. The first 20 seconds are cut and it's a shame because it really sets the tone of the song before your just hit hard by the rhythm guitar out of nowhere.
Have you done any Slaughter to Prevail or Lorna Shore yet? If not, I recommend "Demolisher" and "To the Hellfire", respectively.

Great video! The placement of the ads really sucked though! I really do wish content creators would be more mindful of where they place the ads in their videos and not put them in such annoying places.
