At 13 mum was obviously being abused. She was a mere baby. My granddaughter turned 13 yesterday. This brought me to tears. I hope he his mum and grandmother can spend many wonderful years together.
Absolutely 😊❤ truly said. He got a whole lot more to be thankful for. When he has his first child he will realize how much he owe his mom for taking care of him until he was 9months. For his mom to do that, she must have been going through and wanted to spare him from it. That's the only way she could do at the time.

Don’t cut ties they want you in your life
In a situation like this you have to get down to the basics. I have a pretty negligent mother. She let my siblings get abused by our father, sexually, emotionally, etc(God separated me from the family early so I didn’t go through the abuse).
As a young adult I struggled to accept my parents especially my mother coz she’s always been very detached from us but I remember finding one important thing in all that which was that THEY GAVE ME LIFE and I decided to honor them for that. May God help this man find the beauty in his mother coz am sure it’s haunted her all her life.
Steve always get it in the right prospective, the young man has a lot to be thankful for no matter what his past or whom his biological mother is or not have been for him. God has blessed him enormously. Show her some love, you're here.
Honestly this made me cry must learn to live and forgive bless him and his family may he find closure for him and his life

Pray they will be able to develop a great relationship. This young man is a credit to his adoptive and biological families. Even though his life began with a tragedy, it is clear that God protected him, ordered his steps and has now blessed him with his own beautiful family. Wish them all the best!♥️
Thank you, Steve. I always look at what is Wrong and I never look at what's right. I am looking at life just like this young man. My husband died but the good I do to compensate for his loss is not important to me. I still pity myself.

Some people like to throw stones at Steve Harvey because he’s not led a perfect personal life especially in his past. But I think it’s exactly what makes him qualified to give good advice.
No one is perfect. And we can’t change our past. But when we can reach out and help to lift up, and advise others in a positive way it can make a world of difference.
God moves in mysterious ways. And He chooses us to do His will. Lord knows that none of us are perfect. But God chooses the one among who is perfect for the job.

I have watched Madea on several movies, and was glad that you "unretired" her. I don't like to call myself a fan, because some define that word differently. However, I appreciate great talent and creativity!!! I love and need to laugh every chance I get. I spend most of my time focusing on growing in my relationship with my Heavenly Father.

I don't care what they say or don't say about Steve. He's got more common sense than 30 ppl put together.
Steve is the best. Steve just demonstrated the importance of father's and father figures in a man's life. I don't know if this man had a father in his life, but a true father would have walked him through what Steve gave him in five minutes. This is more difficult on the soul than it seems, and whereas Steve gave him the best advice ever, in just in a few minutes, situations like these requires more than a 5 minute therapeutic session to fix.

The woman (your adopted mother) who found you; was placed there to find you by God; because he knew your real mom was too young for the responsibility of a baby; coupled with what was going on in her young life. Look upon it as a blessing; that God placed you back in her life; to find out the truth. That was God's way of healing you. God bless you! 🙏🏾

It wasn’t ideal what happened to him, but it seems like he had a better upbringing than many. And much to be grateful for. I’m guessing if his adoptive mother was still with him, she would also encourage him to forgive his biological mother as she must have been loving and compassionate.
His biological mother was a scared child, and it looks like God provided him with a better life than he would have had with that child. Continued Blessings to all.

It's really solid advice to sooth the soul Steve is giving. However I can't help but feel the young fella a little bit. Letting go of the very deep feeling the questions he has is work of a lifetime. You gonna live with that for your entire life. "Why did she have me at 13?" "Why did she abandon me?" Ain't nothing gonna silence those questions. You gotta make peace with them. Don't go down the rabbit hole and speculate. Accept it as is and live in the present.

I’m sorry to be the one to say this, but it’s very likely a 12-13 year old child was taken advantage of by an adult. Many people gloss over the statistics that most pregnancies of preteens and teens happen with adult men. His mom was a baby that probably was being abused.

What the hell? Don't even say the word "dad" because the "dad" could've been the rapist. Also, naturally, she's the mother. SHE had him. So, it only makes sense to ask her these questions because she HAD him AND abandoned him. He might not know his "father" but he sure as hell knows his mother.
