I took my daughter 15 year old iPhone for good until she can show respect and shows some moral values. It was on and off and then I decided she’s not learning anything . It’s been 4 months without her phone . Deleted all social media platform and only a certain numbers she can and accept calls .

Cell phones were just starting to make the seen when my girls started high school. We didn't have them at that point we had a house phone in the dining room. I didn't care about the phone much... but between 4PM & 5PM don't pick up that phone! don't even flinch that's dinner time the one time of day we sit as a family talk about how everyone's day went. this is what happen when my daughter reached out for the phone first thing out of my mouth was No you did not. I pulled it right out of the wall If it had been a cell phone, I would have asked for it and walked to the front door and pitched it in to the street. to this day when at my dinner table all phones are off.

My dad took my phone and cut the service off until i earned it or its been awhile with no incident
