"With some added restrictions" Oh god... I already know what you're talking about... I went through Proud Mode with all Pro Codes except 0 def, 30 ap limit, and no healing activated... It was absolutely hellish
I don’t think it’s a hot take to say KH3 is your favorite because it truly is a beautiful gem of a game. There’s a lot of love and thought that went into this game that some people discard because it wasn’t they imagined it to be. But for the fans that was able to see what the game was, it’s one of the best conclusions to a over-arching story and a return to that action combat system that was established in KH1&KH2. Also you’re a mad lad for playing the game at level 1 with all 13 pro codes on too.
You can't say its one of the best conclusions to an overarching story when its riddled with millions of inconsistencies and things not accounted for over the course of the series. It may not have been possible to be perfect but the sheer amount not answered and mystery boxed for the sequel, combined with the zero catharsis of the ending which arbitrarily forces us to accept xehanort is merely misguided, is blatantly disrespectful to all the love the fans delivered to the previous games. Saying its only because its not what we wanted is absurd. It was badly done. You can like it in spite of that, but storywise it is objectively terrible
I agree. Kh 3 haters always talk about it's flaws but never bring up its pros. In fact, I'd say there's way more pros than cons. I say it's best to ignore the people who hate on 3. 3 is a beautiful game that truly shows how much care square put into it. It's objectively a great game
It's a hot take because the game is still extremely flawed, critical mode gives every single enemy the capacity to one shot you. It leads to getting killed constantly by off screen enemies
The timing of this video is perfect. I started playing KH3 on ps4 but couldnt finish it due to life-stuff. With it coming out on steam in a week or so (At the time of this comment) its pushed me to be excited for finally playing it again! Thanks for all the hellish work that proud mode put you through!

Ngl I did the same lvl 1 run all codes and I lost my sanity against skoll as well, I am suprised that you didn't mention this as well (I am at 50:27) but there is a way to heal yourself with all codes on mid battle, you need to wear the wisdom ring the ability lets you heal as you spend magic but it is kind of a gamble since it is not guarranteed AND it is based as the proportion of the spell you cast. IT DID help me survive but on the other hand battles takes way longer. Massive respect for you!

Great job on completing the run! This one was VERY difficult to do a couple of years back, and honestly I commend anyone who even gave this a try. Keep up the great work!!
I'm at 37:50 right now and I commend you for having the patience to take the strategy you did (no spoilers for those who haven't gotten that far 😜) but I did not during my attempt of this same run. I just threw myself at a wall for like a week and hoped for some good RNG and my heart being my guiding key 😂😭 Wait edit literally like 10 seconds after I commented this and restarted the video my heart dropped for you 😂😂😂
Love the Video! Love seeing kh3 appreciation as well. Very interesting to see how your own run differed from my own! and the startegies you took. A very user-friendly tip, especially if you continue to the dlc or anyone else reading wishing to attempt this run. the minigames (i believe spicifically arendelle sleding and verum rex?) have accessories you can earn that give second chance once more when equipped. That combined with the chefs keyblade, having wizards ruse allows you to snatch hp back from using magic! since hp drain never continues draining past critical health. Swap to it to have a chance to heal with magic than back to ultima for damage. That was of my own strategy, hoping that may help your future endeavors with the dlc or anyone else interested. cant wait to see you tackle that!
I accidentally tried to do a lvl 1 run before. I kinda brainlessly (and not sober) switched on exp 0. I was trying to figure out why was this hard until I found it when I was sober. I went pretty far but being under leveled made me reset the game lmao
Congrats! Been excited for this one. Just did this challenge recently as well so I feel the pain lol. Pretty sure a small amount of people have attempted this so you are absolutley GOATED!
I could never do this challenge. I was successful at a KH2 level 1 challenge, but doing a regular critical no codes at all, I struggled with everything you did in this video. I only did it so I could unlock the oblivion keyblade, and I almost gave up. You are much better at kingdom hearts than I am.
You can actually get Once More and Second Chance in a Level 1 Run. Some minigames have these bronze pendants as consolation prizes and they come with random abilities including SC anD OM. I know you can get them from the Arandelle Slide, but I am pretty sure you can also get them before that. You kinda lose stats, but food should always make up for that.
Just want you to know my wife is not happy with you haha. I just found your channel like last week and have watched all the lvl 1 run videos and because of you I have now started my yearly KH playthrough sooner than usual. Keep up the great work !!!
@@myriadbIades if that ain’t the truth. I’m actually going to do it on proud as well since through out all the games it’s the achievements I don’t have
I'm currently fighting kh3 data fights on critical + all pro codes on (including the status standard code that brings you back at lv1). Those guys are beyond insane but at the same time they convinced me even more that kh3 combat surpassed kh2's and I defeated kh2 data fights + lingering will on lv1 critical as well. Only xemnas, master xehanort and yozora are left to no damage.
ALSO another thing I learned was if you have your ps5 controller speaker on when you have to bring sora back to life during that last ray you can hear Donald and goofy calling out to him through the speaker
Did you guys know that the sole of Sora's shoes in KH2 is different in KH2FM? Nothing weird. Just for the people in the back who also thought Sora's shoes were slightly different in KH3 Olympus. EDIT: For reference, Vanilla KH2 has white soles (which where used in KH3) and KH2FM has grey-ish soles
I've done the same thing, BUT also using only the Kingdom Key keyblades and some other restrictions. I have to admit that I learned a lot of things that a few years ago I didn't even know, so THANK YOU so much! When you'll do Re:Mind, keep in mind the Thunder strategy against the Pink Shadow (which I randomly discovered before the official discovery, lul), so that you'll have a better time since that fight is ATROCIOUS! GGs man, good job
Awesome video, doing Lv 1 with all pro codes on is wild. I've done lv 1 and Skoll is such a pain and reminded me again how much I don't like that fight.
Currently doing a KHIII lvl 1 critical playthrough and during the Titan fight I took out Ice Titan in under 20 seconds. Surprised myself with that one.
Only ever played KH 1 and 2, while being aware there's other games that tie in into the story of KH as a whole. But seeing you play them all at Lv 1 makes me change my mind about leaving it at that. I do NOT have the (in)sanity required to do it all at Lv 1 though, but I absolutely salute you for having gone on that journey and sharing your experiences with those videos! Might not be a bad idea to mentally rest up before you tackle the last stretch, as much as I anticipate those Superboss fights now.
You don't have play at level 1 but in general definitely play re com, bbs, ddd, before playing kh3. I'm always an advocate for experiencing long running stories like kh in their entirety, and if you find yourself not having enough time, just play a little bit everyday!
Ooh, I did this the first time I played with all pro codes… I wasn’t aware that they were only needed for boss fights and played through the entire game at level 1 with all pro codes 😂😂😂 It was hell but it wasn’t actually all that bad
"One would believe an madman would even think of equipping just one of these, right?" Consider me an madwoman then cause have an mod that allows for both EZ and pro codes and I always choose the No Attractions Pro Code, along with the following EZ codes: Auto-block, HP Regen, MP Regen, Focus Regen, Form Charge, Survival (Which is a double edged sword), And overflow (once again a double edged sword as it makes rageform appear more often, but if you're in a tight spot and need IMMEDIATE healing at the cost of versatility this is for you.)
You did amazing there and pray that you aren’t fully stressed when dealing with the Data Battles. Any chance of doing the DS games at Level 1? Granted they are the only games that you can be LV1 on any difficulty and Re:Coded doesn’t have much on what counts as Level 1 with the stat chips so.. if your ever itching for more after Re:Mind, give them a try.
Woah. I just happened to stumble on this vid while finding resources for my first kh3 run. I thought pro codes wasnt that problematic until i died to the first wave in olympus like 7 times. Im starting to regret playing it without ng+.
Yeah, Skoll is an atrocious fight to do Crit Lvl 1 All Pro Codes. Especially if you're like me and didn't use NG+ to have access to Ultima. I was running Happy Gear for my equipment and airstepping into Buzzsaw to deal with the DM. With on and off attempts, this fight took me about a month before I threw my controller on the ground with excitement.
Omg love these KH level 1 vids MNIJ truly but I do have a question are u gonna do the remind and organization 13 data battles like u did with KH2 im curious bc I'd love to see that one day.
@@myriadbIades yeah I wrote this before I finished the video and u teased it there so I'm hyped for that. Sidenote do u believe we'll get any KH 4 news this year bc everyone's talking about it?.
Eerily enough every point that you struggled with in critical 1 i struggled with in my base critical run. I just wanted oblivion tbh, but dear FUCK, why do these bosses have so many health bars?!
I love ur series been watching all of em but and i believe this was hard to accomplish and i am very astonished at u managing all of it very impressive U missed a secret boss But ngl that boss aint that hard to be honest i think the wolf is WAY worse just lettn you know theres still something waiting in the Graveyard 1000 heartless area ;P I wish you a lot of fun may it wont be as painful as it was for me And nonim talking remind ;P
What I do against Skoll is killing the clones first and keeping distance from skoll. Thundara is great to deal with all of them as it's an AoE spell. If you time Thundara well enough when Skoll summons the clones, you'll kill many of them immidiately. After they are gone, Skoll ain't too hard to deal with. I guess the DM can be a bit annoying with the timer to kill a lot of clones, but what I do is wait before reaching the HP at which Skoll initiates the DM. I let my MP be restored before the DM so I can use Thundara on the clones in the DM. Airstep is also great for getting closer to the clones and killing them faster. I remember hating this fight at first. But after I learned a few strategies and tricks, I don't mind it too much now.
I find it funny that ultama weapon has the weakest magic stat when not upgraded and when I was doing the final world I convinced myself that all the bosses were the data versions but easy
I know that you replied to my comment about if it’s 1 or 2 videos (also awesome love it when creators care about talking to the audience) but the one problem that I do have with this (and it’s a small one) is that you didn’t fight dark infurno (the first one in the base game in battle gate 14)
watching this reminded this one just how much it actually enjoyed KH3 after forgetting and its opinion turning a bit sour(namely due to some levels feeling like flat rehashes of the source-movie's plots or the Toystory world just...not feeling that much like it actually had much to do with Toystory itself.) Also reminded this one that it never did beat Re:Mind. iirc, it thinks it went straight from the final boss to the Data-Org and figured that's all there was to the DLC and dropped it
I attempted my first run at level 1 Critical and got walled at Amber (should have called her Calcabrina Square Enix, missed opportunity!) Never thought to kite her to the top of the shelf, good thinking!!
It's one of those things that requires a bit of outside thinking but is definitely very rewarding (it also helps Sora runs really fast in this game lol)
I'm going through my own level one run right now (no ng+ no pro codes) and I have fucking TRAUMA from when I did skull slightly underleveled in normal critical (no ng+). I am fearing for my life when I get to Frozen.
Theres a lot of design choices in the game that should have been reworked before release that could have made the game way better. Also the ending, in my own eyes was terrible. Very anti-climatic. "Just spent years of our life and robbed our childhood trying to kill us, but we good now yeah? Best buddies for life". The game was good but that ending man...
Ironically enough I learned that Phil’s Japanese voice actor had passed away so out of respect they kept him mute in the English dub of the game

16:57 after 3 weeks this is where I'm stuck

Pro tip- if you jump backwards, then Super jump then air slide; you can bypass the walls of the DM.
GET UP ON THE HYDRA'S BACK!
I feel like this title is selling you crazy short… ALL PRO CODES?!?!?
Sora has always worn a tank top
BABE WAKE UP JOSH UPLOADED
Yeah, Skoll is an atrocious fight to do Crit Lvl 1 All Pro Codes. Especially if you're like me and didn't use NG+ to have access to Ultima. I was running Happy Gear for my equipment and airstepping into Buzzsaw to deal with the DM. With on and off attempts, this fight took me about a month before I threw my controller on the ground with excitement.
alot of people hate kh3 and i never understand why they did it i loved the gameplay and the story
Kh3 gameplay surpassed kh2's for me.
Bro beat gamechamp to it.
LETS GOO IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VID!!!
Omg love these KH level 1 vids MNIJ truly but I do have a question are u gonna do the remind and organization 13 data battles like u did with KH2 im curious bc I'd love to see that one day.
I absolutely will the end of the vid teases it basically
@@myriadbIades yeah I wrote this before I finished the video and u teased it there so I'm hyped for that. Sidenote do u believe we'll get any KH 4 news this year bc everyone's talking about it?.
Eerily enough every point that you struggled with in critical 1 i struggled with in my base critical run. I just wanted oblivion tbh, but dear FUCK, why do these bosses have so many health bars?!
Doti retweeted this so I will watch and subscribe!
I love ur series been watching all of em but and i believe this was hard to accomplish and i am very astonished at u managing all of it very impressive
U missed a secret boss
But ngl that boss aint that hard to be honest i think the wolf is WAY worse just lettn you know theres still something waiting in the Graveyard 1000 heartless area ;P I wish you a lot of fun may it wont be as painful as it was for me
And nonim talking remind ;P
You know whats funny? Pro Codes on DLC Super Bosses are objectively way easier and more satisfying than main game boss fight.
I know that you replied to my comment about if it’s 1 or 2 videos (also awesome love it when creators care about talking to the audience) but the one problem that I do have with this (and it’s a small one) is that you didn’t fight dark infurno (the first one in the base game in battle gate 14)
One of these days, Darkside is going to get a fiendish level get-back on you 💀
watching this reminded this one just how much it actually enjoyed KH3 after forgetting and its opinion turning a bit sour(namely due to some levels feeling like flat rehashes of the source-movie's plots or the Toystory world just...not feeling that much like it actually had much to do with Toystory itself.) Also reminded this one that it never did beat Re:Mind. iirc, it thinks it went straight from the final boss to the Data-Org and figured that's all there was to the DLC and dropped it
Also just wasn't fond of Xehanort's new voice
I attempted my first run at level 1 Critical and got walled at Amber (should have called her Calcabrina Square Enix, missed opportunity!) Never thought to kite her to the top of the shelf, good thinking!!
It's one of those things that requires a bit of outside thinking but is definitely very rewarding (it also helps Sora runs really fast in this game lol)
Time to see how my boi Josh cooked
I’m doing it right now
DO A LEVEL 1 RUN OF BIRTH BY SLEEP
What if I told you that I already did
Oh sorry I just saw it lol
Using the ultima blade is kind of cheap but serious respect for this
I'm going through my own level one run right now (no ng+ no pro codes) and I have fucking TRAUMA from when I did skull slightly underleveled in normal critical (no ng+). I am fearing for my life when I get to Frozen.
lowkey in normal critical it took me 7 HOURS.
Teranort's tackle is the most annoying.....
My man's has never met OG Shao Khan....
gaming
Theres a lot of design choices in the game that should have been reworked before release that could have made the game way better. Also the ending, in my own eyes was terrible. Very anti-climatic. "Just spent years of our life and robbed our childhood trying to kill us, but we good now yeah? Best buddies for life". The game was good but that ending man...
Have you ever used the Wheel of Fate?
