I'm through 2 thirds of it and so far it's really funny and entertaining, just wanted to clear up something about the power of waking and stuff. When you said it's not great sora gets the power of waking right when he needs it for ven, it's not like he gets it there but he is informed he never lost it to begin with. In fact, the journal states that you can't reach the realm of darkness without Michaels key, a dark corridor, or the power of waking. Seems like the first time sora actually uses it, without knowing it, was back there to go save Riku "with all his heart" like it's mentioned many times in the game you need to do to use the PoW to begin with. Once you realize that and that the ventus moment was just sora consciously realizing he had the power all along it makes that scene flow better. Also keep in mind that riku's line before his sacrifice is "I believe in you, you won't give up" more so than telling sora that sora doesn't believe what he is saying rn, which he most definitely does legitimately think he is worthless alone.
I played KH3 level 1 on Proud before Re:Mind came out and it was miserable. Bosses were damage sponges who took 15-20 minutes to beat, and since you learn Second Chance (or whatever its called now) via level up, and the amount of enemies is huge compared to earlier titles, I'd just die out of nowhere so often. Not to mention this happening towards the end of a 15 minute battle. I can't imagine the misery of doing that for Crit. Props, you lunatic
i dont wanna do level 1 on proud or crit bc i dont wanna be a sobbing mess on the floor every time i try to play the damn game but what's level 1 on standard like? since KH3 allows level 1 runs on all difficulties, ive been thinking of doing a standard mode lv1 run for a hot minute
@@caifabe8050 KH3 Crit LV1 isn't actually that awful, but you can't really play it like you would on any other difficulty. Going berserk with the Keyblade and getting Formchanges will only carry you through so much, you get rewarded for making the most of all your resources (the speedrun breaks as much of your Links/Shotlocks/spells as possible), and that's why I personally think it's worth giving a try even if it seems intimidating. But to answer your question, LV1 on Standard is kinda funky. You have access to the long boi MP bar that every non-Crit category gets, so you're able to rely on spells a bit more for areas where you'd want it. You don't deal as much damage, but you also don't take as much for a longer stretch of the game. If you're really curious, I'd check out the speedruns.
There was actually a point in time before ReMind came out but crit mode was just released into the game, and it was COMPLETELY unbalanced - the worst experience in the series of KH I ever had thus far, so to anyone who beat this on proud or hard lv1 without the DLC update, they're either insane or just a god. And why the hell is there less reliable crowd control in this game if they decided to increase the amount of foes on the screen? Attractions don't count xD
@@ABadZoroark Meow Wow finisher, basically all of Simba, getting the Water Cufflink early in Olympus and using Waterza, Second Form's Magnet Splash finisher, those are just a handful of the crowd control methods you have from pretty early on that I thought of just now. Almost nothing in KH3 is akin to Magnet from KH2, tho, if that's what you're asking.
I feel insane for playing lvl 1, hp mp drain, no cure, no items, no attraction, no limit breaks. Only form shift, magic, and shotlocks. The game was hard as hell and I still haven't beat it. Got to the final world, cleared the heartless you face upon getting there, then took a several year long break I'm still taking 😂
Thoroughly enjoyed and watching and looking back at some great stream moments. Now I'm super hyped to do my own playthrough of Kh3. Although DEFINATELY not lvl 1

I have said since KH3 came out that its level design is the BEST in the series. Maybe KH1 could be considered better just cause it has that "charm" to it, but KH3 is just so good to explore and so well designed that no other KH game comes close. That being said my god does the Frozen world fuckin suck.
So post Christmas I got a Lego set for like 20 bucks off so it was pretty cheap relatively, a bit more in line with how they were in the early to mid 2010s. The point is I got a Lego set and I decided to watch this while I build it. And I may or may not have had to take a break with the buzz stuff. Probably my favorite parts of the stream.

I'm in the process of playing level 1 with all pro codes. I managed to beat amber on my first attempt, and I found it to be really easy. Pretty sure it was just insane rng tho, but I don't remember much of it

The level 1 run for K3 was actually the first one I completed and boy it was hard for me. especially at the end. The. I went back to kh1 lvl 1 that I didn't finish yet cuz I needed a little break because I decided to make the ultima weapon at level 1 and I took 40 hours lol also because anthem is hard.

I'm in the process of playing level 1 with all pro codes. I managed to beat amber on my first attempt, and I found it to be really easy. Pretty sure it was just insane rng tho, but I don't remember much of it

I was stupid when first fighting darkside. For 5 fucking times I failed to jump when darkside hit the ground and that wave instantly killed me. Critical mode f**KS you up hard-core man. I'm still in Olympus lol
The level 1 run for K3 was actually the first one I completed and boy it was hard for me. especially at the end. The. I went back to kh1 lvl 1 that I didn't finish yet cuz I needed a little break because I decided to make the ultima weapon at level 1 and I took 40 hours lol also because anthem is hard.
