Those and super singles tend to slide in mud and snow and I’m thinking snow isn’t something that you see in Australia. Some 24.5” give a little more footprint and load but cost more and aren’t as easy to find sometimes.

That's a hard no on the floaters on the front. Also getting rid of the stripper pole for the hoses and doing a flush mound with qd lines really cleans up the look on the catwalk!

The fenders you put on are 1/4 fenders. The ones you said you would like to put on that cover the tires on front rear axle is called a 1/2 fender and the fenders that cover both rear axle are full fenders. And those thick front tires dont look right and would probably wear things out faster because that axle isnt rated for that heavy tire!!

Funny story about those boxes... no lie I can relate. I used to work at this indie shop that had woods bordering the back parking lot. Well one day I was hearing this loud tapping metallic noise... I look out back and there is a group of about 6 or so turkeys, and they were pecking they're beaks/ heads off the side of a customers black accord!! They were seeing their reflection just like in your steps and were going ape shit on this guys car. They actually did quite a bit of damage to it. It looked like stone chips and it was all around the rocker areas. Dumbass birds. If I had a rifle I probably would've tried to start Thanksgiving early. The progress on this Pete is awesome. Gonna be killer when the 18 speed is in there and your rowing the gears!!! 💪😎👍

I suppose if your hauling cow crap in tanks on the back then the road floaters would be perfect... fits right in with bird shit on the chrome battery covers for lack of a better word describing how garish it looks. Just wait till you cross a expanded steel bridge and those big wide tires on the front put you into the curb.... there is a reason for them and usually on heavy rock trucks or something in that order. I don't like having so many lights on a rig that you become a slave to keeping them all lite up. I go against myself though as I always did like a small light on the ends of he flaps.... like the strip led lights are good for something like that and its clean looking.... digging that visor as it is "dope" as you kids say. I did like my visor and it got me pulled over a few times. The deck Greg... I sure do hope that you use some expanded steel to cover the drive assembly as its just hard to always land on a rail when hoping off a trailer deck or even just crossing over from side to side. You have enough chrome on it now so don't over do it as it really makes the truck look like a city slicker thing. Kinda surprised that you didn't already wire that truck since you were behind that dash more than a sink to wash the face after a long day. I'd drive it and just the way it is and be proud as a peacock

Greg and Silent Mike, as far as brakes go on a Pete like that, a lot of trucks brakes will last longer based off of Highway vs city driving, manual vs auto, and how well your exhaust brake or jake brake works to slow the truck down. I’ve heard of guys going 800,000 + miles on factory front brakes, you aren’t applying as much force in the fronts as you do the trailer brakes and rear brakes, so it’s quite possible you guys are replacing the first factory set of brakes on that Pete. Love the truck, weird question but which one of you has your CDL? I didn’t know you and or silent Mike had your Class A. Keep up the awesome videos!
