Thank you for this video! Did you find an issue with the Run Chicken (I know you said it was awesome so far, but just checking!) that you got the Omlet instead? I was pretty set on the run chicken, and found your video on it, and then saw this was more recent and wanted to make sure! TIA!
Hi there!! The Run-Chicken was an awesome door, I was just interested in trying the Omlet since there was so much discussion out there around the two, wanted to have a well-rounded opinion ;) They are both great doors, honestly. The differences are: The Run chicken opens up and down and is metal, the Omlet opens to the side and is made from ABS which is a very durable plastic polymer. I feel confident in both, but personally I like the Omlet for the fact that it has its own control system with adjustable buttons, you can see in the video I am playing with the controls, and you can also get the version where you can control it with your cell phone. Haven't tried that yet but would love to hear your thoughts on it if you end up getting it! It also just feels extremely durable. If I had to choose between the two right now, I would choose the Omlet. Where and the way our coop is positioned right now, the control panel being away from the door isnt a game changer for us, but this gives me good insight. I actually found your youtube FROM that article (someone linked it in reddit, so thanks to that redditor too!!) Love your channel-esp because were in the cold northeast US, and door operation/farming is way different in these sub zero temps like you reflect! I appreciate your time!!

I've watched two of your videos, both involving the coop doors and found your channel enjoyable. Encourage you and your husband to come up with more content ideas and produce more frequent videos.
