Best installation video I've seen yet for this particular door. I just ordered two of these for both of my large coops so we don't have to worry when we go out of town for a few days.
Great video, thank you! All the steps are spot on with no wasted time. I put it together as I followed along with your video, it was so much easier than fumbling with instructions as I did it. Your programming highlights were perfect for me too.
Thank you for this video. The instructions had me baffled. I followed along with you (even the pre wiring LOL). But, we got it installed!! Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing, this is really great video and much helpful! But I saw one mistake at 7:49 on wiring Auto-Door to Control Box , the wire cable must be installed under the plastic Cable Clamp and pressed tightly by this part to prevent any pull from outside, this is very important for product reliability. Another comment is the yellow warning sticker attached on opening frame can be removed after your installation, the adhesive on sticker back has been well tested and would not leave any residuum after sticker removal. Enjoying it !
Thank you for this very informative video! We ordered our door today…(gray) and it will be here in 4 weeks 😎after watching your video I have confidence in installing ours
Great video and beautiful smile. I would love to know what the opening should be cut to on the coop. Trying to prep my coop for the automatic door. TY!!
Thanks for the video Libby. I couldn't find my instruction manual and your advice did the job. Just waiting till it goes dark to see if all goes to plan!
@@LibbyFlanagan I can confirm it worked ok, one chicken was still out. She likes to check everyone is in, so I hoping she'll click to go in tonight. Worked like a charm this morning and they were out. There house has remained cleaner as their out as soon as the light appears.. It's really good isn't it. Thanks again.
Excellent video. Very informative. I made the mistake of buying one from JVR and it's a nightmare. My only concern is the 20 or 30 minute delay on opening. Once the sun is up the girls want to get outside, not a half hour later.
One thing that everyone does not touch on on their videos, and even in the installation manual itself is whether or not the door entrance should be flush with the interior timber/floor of the door or higher. Mine is currently higher and Im concerned that they are fully stepping on the plastic of the door to get in and out (which is part of the railing of the door closure/opening) and must be kept clean and damage free from their feet/claws for it to operate properly and for longevity. I believe if you have it low enough, they could avoid stepping on the plastic door railing altogether, only you are making the door entry smaller by doing so.
I remember those lcd button interfaces from 10 years ago or more....I have been working on a DIY coop door it uses wifi and your phone to configure it. I think the light sensor is too flakey and a time based setup is the way to go. The "coop cop" as I'm calling it just sets the time to open and close. It will need changing a few times a year, but it doesn't have to guess when to open or close. The more interesting thing I think it to do a 'draw bridge' door so any predators can't even get close to the door as the 'ramp' lifts up. Basically it hinges from the bottom of the opening, instead of a slide (left-right for this one, up/down for others). I should be selling this as a 'kit' with just the electronics parts for like $25 so anyone can do the door part and just hook up the microprocessor and motor. Check my channel I should be posting a video soon. It has taken forever as I keep coming up with cheaper and better ways that make it easier for others to do this, when I could have had my 'free' car window setup done in a day for myself.
One of the best Omlet installation videos I've seen. The details help. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the video! There doesn't seem to be another one out there that just get straight to the point.
I’m glad that you enjoyed it! I do my best to get to it!

Thank you so much. I would still be on page one of the instructions crying by now if I hadn't found your video.

Hey! What are the dimensions of the hole you had for the door?
Thanks for the video Libby. I couldn't find my instruction manual and your advice did the job. Just waiting till it goes dark to see if all goes to plan!
🤞🏼I have had a lot of success with it! I hope yours works well

Great video Libby. Looked like a pretty easy setup.🙂
It was super easy!
Can the door be opened without power? In in an emergency situation. Like when you don't have batteries available.
This is the number #1 auto door in my opinion.
Excellent video. Very informative.

Could it be mounted on the inside to prevent sun damage, freezing and theft.
i dont see why not
How big was you opening.? Mine is 10x12" and I was concerned it wouldn't work with my existing doorway.
That will work!
Thank you!!!’ I was having a lot of trouble with it!!!!
You are welcome!

The chickens go inside when it becomes dark? I never knew that!
Yes they do! Its really cool to watch!
After 6 months of use, how do you like it? Any issues?
Still love it! Going strong on the same batteries
Thank you for doing the video. You saved me a lot of time not having to read directions ❤
Another great video 🐓🐓🐓
Love the door company name🥚🥚🥚
Yes it's so cute!
Can you set your own time to close it?
Yes! You can either use the light mode or a timer
How do you still have grass inside your chicken pen!
I move it everyday 🥰
Nice video
Thank you
One of those products that make you say “why didn’t I think of that?!”
I know right!
Bridget is looking into hot pink coop doors, to match her coop aesthetic

You are not supposed to calibrate the door except when it is already installed. Read the forums.
It still is working fine 🤷♀️
Eggssss!!!!
Here from women of UA-cam group
Awesome welcome!!
The best part!
Looks like too many parts.
It really wasn’t bad!
