The Omlet is available in dark grey as well if you don't like the flashy green. Love the optional light, I installed it inside to persuade my budgies to sleep inside (whitout success)
I just purchased the Fuzzy-Bird Solar Automatic door, and I absolutely Love it!! The solar panel is actually located on the top of the door, there are No wires to deal with and you can select it to sense the light and you can select the timer mode, plus there’s a built in Lithium battery that Never stops working, Overall I believe this one in my opinion is the Winner 🥇!!!!
I have Vevor but not that one , it’s like the run chicken and I have had no problems with it since we installed (And it’s cheaper then the one in video)
The chicken guard breaks in a matter of months. It operates off a string that unthreads very quickly. The locking mechanism broke in 1 month. It needs an overhaul.
Thank you for your information, I believe all auto door closers should have the safety edge for chickens safety so there will not ever have a chicken hurt or killed ❣️❣️🥰🐣
I have the Run Chicken door. It's been good but it doesn't do well if you have freezing rain. I had to fight it a lot this winter in Nebraska. But this could be a problem for all chicken doors I imagine. Also I do not like the fact that the gear that runs the door up and down is plastic. I've had the Run Chicken door for about 8 months. Overall, I'm satisfied as long as I get several years of use out of it.
i have the vevor and its not reliable. it would sometimes open and sometimes not. i got another one from harris farm which is similar to chicken guard that has been running flawlessly for several months.
Run-Chicken door is the worst automatic door on the market. Their support is criminal. Save your money. Or be ready to buy a new one inside a year. There are much better options with superior support.
@farmlite we just ordered a door from you guys a few days ago! Haven't received it yet but very excited to see how it works. Didn't know you were American made! Makes my choice even better!
I love the “American Branded” wordplay. I get that it’s cheaper to make in China. I’m not judging FarmLite for outsourcing the manufacturing. Just don’t pretend it’s American. The dishonesty in the statement leads me to not trust the integrity of the company.
@@fuzzytb Well I own the company and there is no dishonesty about where the door is manufactured nor my work ethic to provide my customers with top notch products and service. It's an American company with manufacturing in China like any other company such as Therabody, Apple, etc except the difference is when you purchase a FarmLite product you don't have to talk to a robot for customer support and you get to talk to me. American branded isn't even the right word, FarmLite is an American company with the best product and customer support on the market(related to Chicken doors) and my reviews speak to that. Purchase whichever brand you'd like but I promise you if you have an issue 12 months down the road you won't get the support from another brand like you do from FarmLite.

Run Chicken also runs on gps location and it works great, so it can be mounted anywhere regardless of light conditions.
Can you explain what you mean by this?
Omlet is very well made. Excellent quality.

We've added the Vevor door you mentioned (pre-assembled) in the article and planning to make a new, updated video soon.

I've had mine for 1.5 years and the little problems you mentioned are getting worse.
i really appreciate the vid. thank you.
The Chicken Guard looks pretty cheesy with that lift string.
I had the Vevor would not recommend it, lasted about 18 months. Their customer support was good it's just that the actuator arm kept breaking.
I can't let my chickens see this. They'll refuse to close the door behind them and demand one of these.
😅
whahahaha! That made me smile as 4 am! Thank you! 😃

I bought one from Temu and it's all plastic.. anything could push it open
I still find the 'omlet' one a little morbid. 😭
😅 Is it the name?
@@chickenfans not to be recommended for intelligent chickens, able to read. That's all I'm saying. 😢
I like it, 😮

What would u reccomend? I’ve been looking on Amazon and looking to spend around 100$
Way to leave out the only American branded chicken coop door, FarmLite )=
These are four doors out of a long list we've tested so far. We reached out to you in November; feel free to get back to us!
