Pro tip, learn the most mechanical way to deliver mates, not the fastest (and most complicated). And then just practice it. Checkmate is still checkmate if it takes 20 moves or 5 moves.
@@masondavis9895 he means moet theoretical, the best can mate this situation way faster but the way this guy showed it can be used everytime this situation occurs

@@devlakhwani9514 A stalemate is when the king can’t make any legal moves but also isn’t in check, meaning that it will never move, and the other side will never have a turn.
I ve been playing chess for over 20 years , a bit competitively at early age , casually later , i ve been taught this so many times but i could never do it or cared to study it when older. This is so helpful , after watching this just once i m confident i can pull it off every time !
First, you make sure your 2 bishops control the center, then imagine the v shape that the bishops control. Your goal is to make it smaller and smaller, and eventually shove that bastard who does not surrender in the corner like the bitch they are, and mate them.
You have to cut the board into half triangles and try to get the king to one edge. Its good to try to look for ways to keep the king off the center of the board. Lichess has some great studies to practice endgames like this
Two bishop check mate is wild. I’m usually in two rook, rook Queen, rook Queen night or pawn game. Very rarely do I not lose my bishops to gain rank positioning.
Thanks, finally a followable explanation
Fr so many of these shorts are just so fast
Man explained it in a level that normal ppl understand
Here here here here here here here check check check check here here check here check here here mate
@@Kyloo_Rocket he explained in a way for the people who are below 400elo to understand

I know in an actual game I'll panic and mess this up but this actually made sense the way you show it.

That one person who gets too eager and makes it a stalemate
hi that’s me 🌚
Me ;(
just happened to me on a queen-king vs king clutch 😭
How do you determine it will be a stalemate?
@@devlakhwani9514 A stalemate is when the king can’t make any legal moves but also isn’t in check, meaning that it will never move, and the other side will never have a turn.
his “oh yeah” is just so good. 😩
This is the cleanest explanation of the 2 bishop mate i heard. Thank you
No it’s not when king bishop bishop are in the line. Moving king forward produces check mate
@@chandlerestes9027 What the hell are you talking about... that would be stalemate not checkmate...
"OoooOh Yeah"
It should be called the King's Walk of Shame.

how can u not know this after 20 years? bishop knight is even harder
Bros Indian Hikaru 🤣
It’s always the indian guy that help me understand
Very helpful technique to get this done.. no way I’ll get it with 5 seconds 😂😂
You're such a nice person!
he forgot to mention that the hardest part to make this is push the king on the edge of the board
I can make a full video on it. Hard to fit everything in a 60 second video
Warning: DO NOT MOVE YOUR BISHOP TOO EARLY. You can also stalemate with this cage.
This is the only clear explanation I've seen for this. Thanks
My problem is getting the king to the last rank
I love it when he says ohh yeah
Cool, I'll forget this immediately when I end up with two bishops
Just move the king to G4 in third movement...and it's checkmate...you should be the prescedent...🤣🤣🤣
I can feel my elo rising after this video
It's funny the way he's saying "oooooo yeah"
Please do one knight and one bishop vs rook and king
This is actually a very nice explanation thank you
Bro casually does a tutorial in a real game
I usually put my king on the shorter side of the board then start restricting the king, its the same but i can follow it easier
Perfect explanation, very easy to understand. Also, I love your energy and excitement for chess. Keep up the great work!!!!!
“Escort” the king
So kind of Levy to rent out his apartment to you.
Thank you for this video
Thank goodness he marked that the king can’t go h8
Gauri is going to blow any time now and he deserves it so much
Hey G do you offer coaching? If so, how much per session? If not nbd, thanks!
I have seen several videos but this one made sense 😅❤
Finally a good tutorial I can understand
Best explanation ever
Another Indian solving my doubts
The rook only crosses the king, but he bishop Xs him.
basically a bishop ladder
Super clear! Thanks! It happened to me today and i didn't know how to do it!
For the first time I understand this checkmate woow thanksdds
Sweet and simple. Well done.
I really appreciate your videos
Thank u this is very helpful
Oh wow amazing checkmate Magnus is proud
ok, wow, this was so understandable!
the cage is built , OHH YEAHHHHHHH👹👹👹
This guy should teach every subject in school
i love your energy man
Me watching endgame tutorials knowing my openings are absolute trash and I also have ten chapters of homework due next week that I haven't started
This is why bishops are more valuable than knights
Important to note not to get too jumpy, if he didn’t do that throw move at the end, easiest walk to stalemate 😂😂
I love you man thank you for making these
I was so waiting for a stalemate
Two bishops vs one king great stuff.
Me: Blunders the King
Simple and amazing tutorial
it's all about the cage. Ohhhhh yeahhh!
I know it is a explanation video but he missed
Check mate
No?
Bro has less elo than his own IQ and try to be smart lol
Just imagine he said checkmate at the end and your life will be complete.
POV : You always trade bishops
Well explained brooo❤
🤝
another good one so thumbs up

Perfect thank you 👌
Wow very helpful bro
You seem like a really cool guy man
The double wooden shield
mate in 1 when u “pick a side” king d 7
Huh
*Aggressively commits stalemate*
Check mate in 1 at start with the king
Great video.
Bro why haven’t I learned this before, it’s that simple?
Beware that without the 'wait move' he mentioned you force a draw.
I think the cage makes good mates
Also show how to checkmate with knight and one bishop
Nice explanation bro, keep it up
My mind: kd7! KD7!
If I had this position and more time, I'd let my king take a walk.
Ohh yeah makes me happy
Those arrows at the end were atrocious…
Thanks
Thanku for teaching
tricky part is keeping my bishops alive
Never had a game that ended with me with two bishops, nor two knights.
With just Two knights alone it’s impossible to win unless your opponent has another free piece to move
I'll remember that oooooohhhh yeah when I'm in the moment to build my Chakra 🫠🫠
Thank you, sir!
This dude definitely watches Prince yahshua
I have that exact chess board in my room ❤😂
Cage… Nicolas Cage.
Hey bro, I live in Chicago too

U had a mate in 3rd move bishop e7
Wow, interesting to see a two bishop endgame… Not very common 😅
Thought he was gonna make it a loop with the that’s why

Am still a lil confuse but am better than i was before
What’s that board and pieces and also how did you make your arrows like that?
