      I'm a 1900 guy who uses it every single time my opponent plays 1... e5. The thing is, the Wayward Queen Attack often puts Black into a theoretical abyss, especially in blitz matches where time is very limited, whereas White has usually studied every continuation. That alone is worth a lot.
      Even if Black plays correctly, then while it is true that White has no advantage that usually comes with opening the game (in contrast to spanish for example), it also doesn't have a disadvantage.
      Of course elite players could capitalize on White giving up the advantage, but neither I nor my opponents are elite players.
      For me, an amateur, it makes much more sense to play a solid opening that very few of my opponents know instead of a "good" opening, that most people know inside out.

    How to avoid if you accidentally place your knight to c6
    He will play bishop to c4
    Then play your other knight to h6

    • @Azide_zx
      @Azide_zx Рік тому +1

      first of all knight to c6 is the best move actually
      second of all you should play g6 after bishop to c4
      the whole line usually looks like this:
      1. e4 e5
      2. Qh5 Nc3
      3. Bc4 g6
      4. Qf3 Nf6
      there are several options for move 5 but white should ideally stop black from playing knight to d4 (ive seen Ne2 and c3 both played as well as starting the whole attack with e3 instead of e4) threatening both the queen and king/rook fork, black will probably move the bishop and try to castle and the game goes on

    • @gab___.
      @gab___. Рік тому

      If you can play Nd4,here is a combo to win the game:Qd3 or c3 is a mistake, cuz you go d5,if bishop takes then knight takes back, pawn takes, bishop f5 wins a rook.

      @BLettuce ima be honest idk what i was smoking that day but there is no need to move the queen. After Nf6 the queen just doesnt need to move you just defend the e4 pawn and eventually bring your bishop to g5 to attack the knight that cant move. Nf6 also stops your bishop from moving until you can castle queenside. Either way youre still losing if you blunder the fork.
