Way to go Jesse, your the man I havent tried anything that difficult yet. Good job, like you said you have to get out there and do that kinda riding, in order to get better. Great video keep them coming, and cant wait to see your upgrade videos.
From beginner to beginner: 1) you must get in a standing position, it releases the bike from your mass and adds your legs as a suspension plus you can use your body to stabilize the bike. 2) go to a field, drop your bike and learn how to recover it. Don't worry about, just let it down easy and try different techniques. You'll be surprised how "easy" it is if you use the right angle and grip. For example, don't squat it up, walk backwards. Great Video, great bike and great trails. Like it!
Exactly what I was looking for. I’ve never on road for 6 years but never rode. I’m interested in this bike so it’s great to see someone’s else’s experience! You did awesome.
This was an awesome bike. The only down side was it’s pretty tall. I’m 5’7. Also kind of heavy for anything too crazy off road. But the bike itself is a beast.
That bike will go anywhere that a dirtbike will go!! I had my 2019 tiger 800 xcx before my 2023 tiger. so its very capable it's just ridin and seat time! 2 types of riders those have wrecked and those who are goin too. Keep the content comin
Thank you. I appreciate the comment. The trail started off nice from the south end but once I got up towards the middle it got pretty rough. Awesome experience though.
First off, mad props to you for going off road and testing your limits 👍👍 Sucks you went down but glad you got some help getting her bscl up. Any damage done? A word of advice when riding, and this applies to ALL motorcycles, when going 10mph and under, keep your rpms high and hold on to the clutch. Whenever you feel the bike might tip over just release the clutch slowly to give it more power. Something I learned watching a youtuber named Robert Simmons. He gives lessons on slow speed motorcycle operation, great youtube channel. Keep it up man, you got some great videos 👍
@@jesseonamotorcycle awesome man cant wait!! I do have a request though, since you're not terribly far from Yuba City could you do a video around that area? Or maybe up to the Sutter Buttes? That'd be pretty cool
Nice one mate - you are a lot braver than me right now. I'm still wanting to put some Barkbusters on before I do that kind of thing. I have also just recently bought the Garmin and just got the Evotech mount from Germany late last week. I recorded some video of the install so you might want to look at it. I already posted a video of the wiring I did. I'll have another look at your video once the HD version is up on UA-cam.
I emailed barkbusters and they said they will have a set for my bike very soon so I’m waiting on that. HD version is now up. Takes a while sorry about that. I subscribed and I’ll check the video out thanks 👍🏼
@@jesseonamotorcycle FYI, the barkbusters set for the Tiger 900 will fit the 1200 series as well. You'll want to do some checks and minor adjustments to make sure you're not touching the faring and the windscreen at full lock, but it's pretty straightforward.

It’s a ton of fun in the beginning. The second half which I didn’t record much because of dead batteries was filled with bigger rocks that wasn’t much fun lol. I definitely want to do a training course someday. But they are expensive.
You’ll break your ankle trying to stop a 500lb bike from falling. Stand up while riding and it will be easier :). When in doubt throttle it out (momentum is your friend) and just ditch the bike when you are going down. Sick bike man!
Thanks for the advice bro. Very good point. I’m very lucky I went down the way I did and I had no injuries thank god. Wake up call. Need to be more careful and not get ahead of my self.

Sorry for the sarcasm, but I'm always amazed when people drop or crash their motorcycles and proceed to tell the world about it. They'll take pictures of their expensive motorcycle lying there. And some people will stand on it and beat their chest as if they somehow conquered it, which to me shows that there is some kind of fear involved. I'm also amazed how people stand on the pegs like it's some cool trick. It's what you're supposed to do. We did it on bicycles in grade school. Again, sorry for the sarcasm, but this is one of those posts that I don't like. If I drop my expensive 500lb motorcycle, I'm not going to take pictures of it and tell the world that I messed up.
I once dropped my motorcycle in the dirt off the side of a park road because I forgot to put my kickstand down. The bike was loaded with 150 lbs of stuff I'd just bought at Walmart that had taken me 15 minutes to strap on-board. When the bike went over, I had to spend 5 minutes unstrapping it all and setting it aside before I could pick the bike up, and then I spent another 10 minutes strapping it all back on again. I also had my 35 lb dog on board that I had to release from his safety harness and worry about his getting run over while dozens of cars drove slowly past gawking at me rescuing myself from my own stupidity. To top it off, the bike had fallen on the side the breather hose was routed, so that fuel was leaking out the entire time. Sentimental memories like that are one of the joys of having a motorcycle as my only vehicle.
