  • Genoa Peak Trail is the PERFECT Lake Tahoe trail for a 4x4 outing with the family!
    After heading to Lake Tahoe for an impromptu family getaway I wanted to find a 4x4 trail that I could bring my 4 month old daughter on, and Genoa Peak ended up being better than anything I could have imagined!
    Not only is it nice and easy enough for a family outing, it actually has some of the MOST SPECTACULAR VIEWS at the end!
    I would highly recommend this trail for anyone interested!
    So what do you think? Have you ridden this trail? Do you have other trail suggestions in the Lake Tahoe area? I would love to explore some new spots! Let me know in the comments!
    And if you like this video, please consider giving it a 👍 and subscribing! Every little bit helps, and we really appreciate it!
    Until next time! ✌️

    I just did this trail last weekend. Its my favorite! Im checking out Verdi Peak next then Noonchester Mine Trail near the Rubicon. They are all forest service access roads.

    Nice! I'm going there this weekend and taking a couple friends for their first trip in their truck. Super helpful to see that there are campsites (and a trail!) as we were planning on overnighting.

      My man, thank you for the comment and support! I appreciate it! It really means a lot! The Jeep is currently having a lot of stuff done to it - re-gear to 4.88, on-board air, and paint protection film, but it should all be done soon and we'll be back out on the trails in no time! Not sure what's next, need to do some research! Stay tuned!🙏🍻

    How did Lana like the trails? Looks like she enjoyed it.

      Lana LOVES the outdoors, which is great! I'm not entirely sure if she likes the 4x4ing bit just yet, but she generally likes driving in the car, so hopefully she'll grow into it. The big thing is being so small I really need to be careful not to do anything too jarring...

    About how many hours would you say it took? Thanks for the vid! Going to be in that area soon

      If you're deliberate, there and back from the North side entrance takes about an hour per way, so 2 hours total. Of course, you're welcome to take as long as you like, which is encouraged, given how nice it is out there! Thanks for the kind words! You're welcome and enjoy!🍻

      We returned North the way we came because it was getting late in the afternoon and our hotel was on the North side

    • @FlawlessActivity
      @FlawlessActivity  8 днів тому

      @andyh6302 honestly, I don't want to get you stuck. I'd say most of the trail is fine, but there are a couple of spots that would make me nervous, and the final stretch in particular is more difficult than anything else. My best advice would be to use your judgment and don't attempt anything you're not comfortable doing. We left the same way we went in, so you can always enjoy as much as you're comfortable with, and there's no shame in turning around if it gets too dicey. Coming from someone who has manged to get a convertible Camaro stuck on a beach, nothing ruins a day faster...
