Cadillac is totally not relevant in Europe. I think they do not even sell cars over here. Lexus is "exotic", i.e. while they *do* sell cars, they are very very rare on the road. As an example, I just looked at the German new car registration numbers for 2015, and in the whole of Germany and for the whole of 2015, there were *five* new LS600/LS600HL registrations. Compare that to over 6300 S class cars sold. Added together, maybe 500 Lexus cars altogether (all models). So apparently also not a very interesting brand for people over here. The Jaguar is more interesting (I guess more so in the UK - in Germany, only ca. 150 cars of that model were sold in 2015), although it's more of an "I want to be different" car and not an actual competitor on the same level as the Audi/BMW/Mercedes. Those three really are the usual choices in this segment. Still, would be nice to see a comparison.
The Lexus is nice but its extremely outdated along with the Jaguar. When those cars first came out they were among the best of best and now they don't even come with HALF the standard features of a new Sclass. Brand new cars are on a whole other level of luxury. To put that in perspective, a 2016 Maybach (based off the S) is a 100% identical vehicle except for a longer wheelbase, 1 inch higher roof line, more chrome, and a few extra features.
correction: bmw has never made a 4.0 liter diesel or a over 3l diesel.. do a google search and tell me what you find :) are the 550d and 750d also 5l diesels? lmao

I was slightly off then, not doubles, but multiplies by a factor of ~1,2 as this logarithmic function has base different than 2 and also some multiplier, but the point remains.
I mean my god isn't Mercedes making an amazing job with the s class !! I mean it came on 2014 and still no other luxury car could compete with its looks , interior , comfort literally everything !! Well done mb !!
Lol I've driven Mercedes, BMW and Audi cars before. Mercedes is my favorite by far. BMW was the worst. Im not saying BMW is shit or anything... its just that out of these 3 BMW was the worst for me.
In this car class it's all about the suspension comfort, so it its the S-Class which wins then. If you want the same but cheaper, hurry up and buy a Citroen C5 with the biggest diesel because it has an even more comfortable suspension (yes, i've driven the S-Class). PS. Please don't tell me that the C5 is in another league well below theses cars because that's not my point. My point is that there are always much cheaper cars that could do one thing better even than the most expensive car in the world.
you should wake up. People who buy these kinda cars don't drive them, they get driven in them. They want luxury, comfort and refinement not stupid gimiky tech, or look I'm slightly faster in a drag race etc... That's why the S Class is the one everyone goes for.
@@MDDeGrande1994 what does it matter being from it's origin? it matters what's equivalent to it. i'll say i'll leave audi out of this one. mercedes benz vs bmw rivalry is pretty much a similar comparison to real madrid vs fc barcelona. 2 heavyweights, don't like each other, competitiveness, rich history and accomplishments. that pretty much explains everything.

Cadillac? buhahahaha
just wait for audi to upgrade man
Do review of 2018
Mercedes S-Class,
BMW 7-Series
and Audi A8..
No doubt ,A8 will win.
Izaz Original do now with 2020 all of them
No dobut 7 series will win
i like the way u host the blog
Still my favorite era of Audi interior design
Agree
The A8 interior is so dated.
Tin Nguyen thats because it was last updated in 2014... fucking idiot
Tin Nguyen compare the new one. Not the eight year old one
is the oldest car, like he kept saying :D
There is new a8
Mr LaBeouf fitttjtjjtjtjtjt
in 3 years these cars will be 15k...
Oooookayyyy
Matt Kochanowski i think ur dreaming
more like 25 k
+AHCy0 actually he's right. After 1 year the S-Class loses about 30K in value.
PCMasterRace and în 3 years remain at 40....not 15
Correction: BMW 7 series 740d is a 4 litre not 3
correction: bmw has never made a 4.0 liter diesel or a over 3l diesel.. do a google search and tell me what you find :)
are the 550d and 750d also 5l diesels? lmao
***** i wasnt talking about stuff that ancient .. i was talking about the last 10 years or so..
***** 2009 yet the car wasnt manufactured after early 2008 lmao.. like i said in the last 10 years or so..
***** its almost 16 years old.. that is ancient.. its also the ugliest car bmw has ever made :/
***** no.. no.. the e65..
I'd choose the BMW without a shadow of a doubt, but with the quad turbo diesel, in the 750d trim.
my dads 7 series (same as in this vid) got stolen last month and we were all super depressed about it, but they found it today! so im watching this video preparing myself again :D
Wtf
Don't keep keyless entry keys by the door.
We want a
Jaguar xj
Lexus ls
cadillac ct6
In the next episode
Cadillac CT6 vs Lexus LS vs Volvo S90
Jaguar XJ vs Porsche Panamera vs Maserati Ghibli/Quattroporte
mano23937 Cadillac don't sell cars in the UK.
There are hardly any Cadilacs in the UK but Lexus LS and Jag XJ are possible
The Cadillac isn't really relevant in the UK
Maqsud Rezwan
Audi looks good , Mercedes is beautiful , but Bmw leaves me speachless...
The S-Class will always be the defining car of this class. If it fails to do so Mercedes will fail to be Mercedes.
Time is change and Audi A8 win
I love 💖 AUDI 🧠💖😍
decibel is a logarithmic unit so technically a change of 1db doubles sound amplitude
Two signals whose levels differ by one decibel have a power ratio of 10^1/10 (approximately 1.25893) or (sometimes equivalently) an amplitude (field quantity) ratio of 10^1⁄20 (approximately 1.12202).
Wikipedia
I was slightly off then, not doubles, but multiplies by a factor of ~1,2 as this logarithmic function has base different than 2 and also some multiplier, but the point remains.
Wait for the next generation Audi A8.
its worse, waste ot waiting
I already knew which one won before watching the video
me too lol :D
Battlecraft Gaming bmw of coure
course
+Blackstar ofcource not! S classe the best
I thought "head2head" was motortrend's trademark
pretty sure you cannot trademark something like that. Its too generic.
hauptmann25 'head to head' maybe not. but 'head2head' quite possibly you can
Dmitry L no you cant
in the end he's like "don't forget the evian water i threw...do you think money comes from trees?"
Awesome review😍😎🤘🏻
for me the 7 series won the test
For me too.
Best seats.
2024 anyone? 😂
A8 cant handle the S class.
Ma passion oh come on its the oldest car here, its like years old, its due to a replacement soon
Wait till the new Audi A8 comes in, although I love the S class
in corners it can
Neither the 7 series can handle the S-class.
i have driven all three of them and the a8 is the best in corners
love your videos man.
very good video carwow i love your vids
I mean my god isn't Mercedes making an amazing job with the s class !! I mean it came on 2014 and still no other luxury car could compete with its looks , interior , comfort literally everything !! Well done mb !!
BMW Best Technology, Best Interier, Best Exterier, I Love You BMW !
XD
Metti Haziri bla bla bla shut the fuck up...ur borring us
He is yet to find out that the S Class is currently receiving an update.
Thats just pathetic
Paul Stefan really paul?
nice cars like these, are always driven by nice people!
We need a rematch!
740 D's interior just impressed me!
My Dad has an XJ. I think handling and performance would outbeat them.
BMW ALL THE AWAY EVER!!!
I know this is not M...
BMW M POWER///
Lol I've driven Mercedes, BMW and Audi cars before. Mercedes is my favorite by far. BMW was the worst. Im not saying BMW is shit or anything... its just that out of these 3 BMW was the worst for me.
Can you explain why..? 🤔
Why did you get the bmw with the M package and all the additionals, and in the mercedes you just got a s350 instead of an s500 or s600??
s class-comfort,classic,beautifull-just the best
In this car class it's all about the suspension comfort, so it its the S-Class which wins then. If you want the same but cheaper, hurry up and buy a Citroen C5 with the biggest diesel because it has an even more comfortable suspension (yes, i've driven the S-Class).
PS. Please don't tell me that the C5 is in another league well below theses cars because that's not my point. My point is that there are always much cheaper cars that could do one thing better even than the most expensive car in the world.
Sherukka wake up pls
Maybe it is someone else who should wake up? Don't belive the hype and learn more from "The Emperor's New Clothes".
you should wake up. People who buy these kinda cars don't drive them, they get driven in them. They want luxury, comfort and refinement not stupid gimiky tech, or look I'm slightly faster in a drag race etc... That's why the S Class is the one everyone goes for.
Sherukka
Sherukka no one wants your shitty French crap car
The S class destroys them all.
S-class will always win in these comparisons whether you like it or not,Benz have mastered class and luxury
From those three BMW 7 has the best exterior, the best interior, the best technology simply the best car of the segment!
the black trim on the bottom of the doors on 7 series looks like a damn hockey stick
It's ALWAYS #1 S Class, #2 7 Series, #3 A8
Is it me or is Matts accent not as strong anymore
Panamara remains the only sports car with the saloon bogy now.
maserati quattroporte?
Leo Phan oh yeah, thanks you mentioned, kinda forget that. but would rather have Panamera over Quattroporte GTS
+nakul singh Aston Martin Rapide?
you forget audi rs6 twin turbo v10 with saloon body
Leo Phan and now Mercedes AMG GT 4 Doors
3:04 I mean yeah u can talk about the emblem. But u wont talk about how flimsy it was
Thank you Mat for this review.
bmw 7 series is best
nah
Nah
Mercedes Benz = Real Madrid
BMW = FC Barcelona
Audi = Bayern Munich
It's always been that way.
Shouldn't the BMW be Bayern Munich? You know BMW is from Munich, right?
@@MDDeGrande1994 what does it matter being from it's origin? it matters what's equivalent to it. i'll say i'll leave audi out of this one. mercedes benz vs bmw rivalry is pretty much a similar comparison to real madrid vs fc barcelona. 2 heavyweights, don't like each other, competitiveness, rich history and accomplishments. that pretty much explains everything.
@1990Thunderbolt Fair enough then. lol
@@MDDeGrande1994 (y)
BMW is the Best
Now that's a toy remote control car I want for Christmas!
All that for one LT, what a time to be alive
