Circle K is an American-based convenience store chain headquartered in Tempe, Arizona (where I was born, and still live nearby), although it is owned by a Canadian-based company located in Quebec. Circle K started in the early 1950's and has gone through several ownership changes through the years. They operate in Ireland, Norway, the Baltics, Poland, Russia, Canada and Mexico, and of course the United States. There are also many franchised stores that operate globally throughout Asia, and New Zealand. Anyway, I remember growing up as a kid riding my bike down to the corner Circle K for my mom. In a pinch, she had me get things like milk, bread or eggs for whatever was being made for lunch or dinner. One of their first slogans was "Circle K - We're on the Way." Haha!
That's so fascinating! 🌟 It's amazing how Circle K has expanded all over the globe yet still holds such a nostalgic place in so many people’s hearts. Your story brings back memories of my own local shops and those last-minute trips for essentials. 😊🚴♂️🛒🧡
Much appreciated video Saffy finding good food helpful camp sites and beautiful views all in one video, looking forward to giggles per mile and more of your commentary Saffs🤗😘

Shell first pulled out of Northern Ireland and sites went mostly to Topaz. Shell subsequently then pulled out of Republic of Ireland again most sites went Topaz. Topaz were bought out by American Circle K, can't remember date but must have been when Circle K were embarking on large scale expansion into Europe. They're pretty good at what they do, but so are Applegreen or the larger Maxol stations. Hope you enjoying your stay?
@DavidJohnston58: Thanks for the info! It's fascinating how the fuel station scene has changed here. Circle K, Applegreen, and Maxol all have their own strengths. I'm definitely enjoying my stay despite the changing landscape of service stations! 😊
You were certainly due some good luck. I'm so glad that the late campsite turned out so well. I could do with some tips; I been trying a few different mic/cam options. Because I can't stretch to a GoPro or DJI Osmo, the budget Chinese smart cams have a big minus in that they still keep the damm internal mic on even with an external mic plugged in, so windnoise galore. I then tried a separate digital recorder with a mic inside the helmet, but the mic still picked up the helmet wind noise one hears just riding, but still seems to be best option so far.
I struggled with SJI because of the magnetic clip that holds the mic in! The only thing that's really been working for me is a GoPro + Media Mod + Rode Microphone.
