🌿Thrilled to be finishing my art studio makeover! I'll go thrift shopping for decor, visit an antique store for a new desk, and add more aesthetic organization. I'm also putting up curtains, floating shelves to put paintings on, and a new gorgeous rug! It's been six months since my first video where I transformed this sunroom into an art studio. Taking the time to make it a little more dreamy, decorated, and organized has been so rewarding! I also want to thank you for all the support you've given me. 100k of you in this community is insane! Ashleigh!!! I LOVE the new look 🥹🌷 ahhhh it’s so perfect! I hope you enjoy it and I hope it brings you more magic ✨ if you ever run out of more space for panels and don’t want to store them because they’re beautiful!!! Use command strips! That’s what I use. Works like a charm 😉 until I find frames for the ones I love haha this will do. they don’t ruin your walls or the panels!

there is a saying , the more space you have the more you will need. What you have done with this space is amazing so well done Ashleigh. I want to point out something you may or may not have realized in finishing the studio. This helps with the art block you mentioned. You made your surroundings comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to YOU. Its organized so you dont get frustrated with where did i put that brush or color of paint. All of that helps you focus on painting. Being a comfortable space makes you want to be there and stay there longer. Peaceful and relaxing your area to get away from life which we all need. It programs your brain to relate painting with that "Happy place". I do see needing more space in another short 6 months. Proud of you my dear.

Such a stunning art space! And I love what you said about working artists. I keep my art space clean and tidy too. I can't create in chaos. My brain just won't function if there's too much clutter around. I find so much peace and fresh creativity in a space that is organized and where everything is easily found because it has a home in my work space.

What makes you gravitate towards panels instead of canvas? Is there a big difference of just that panels are cheaper?
Thanks so much Rebecca!! I do spend most of my time in here haha 😅 I’ve just been enjoying the smoother texture of panels more lately. The canvases I have are mostly secondhand ones and probably pretty old lol, so that might aid in my dislike towards them. Hopefully I can try some better quality ones in the future because I do enjoy how easy they are to hang up!
