I just stumbled on this video a couple of years after the fact, and when he's going though all the Bills history he wasn't around for, when he said he wasn't around for wide-right, I literally laughed out loud for a second, and said, "You're going to."

I have been waiting since the 1966 afl championship game that we lost 30-7 to Kansas City. This sent them to the first afl-nfl championship. I have been through all forms of torture and heartache over the last 56 years. Nothing matches the 13 seconds. Now I pray I can see a super bowl victory before I die. Whoa

I feel exactly the same as you. I’m 45 years old I lived through the Super Bowls the Music city miracle all of it. My heart was ripped out of my chest after this game. My son and I were on cloud nine then in our own private hell shortly after. The ups and downs in those final 2 mins alone was yes torture to say the least. Go Bills man
I’m glad you said it. This was it. This was the time to do it. The path was set and we squandered a championship. The coaches failed them in 13 seconds. They even called timeout two times! Both times they got it wrong. I agree 100%, this was the time and they gave it away.

Hey brother I am right there with you. I said to my girlfriend right after Davis caught that touchdown with 13 seconds left that it wasn't over. She was literally in tears of joy for me haha. She knows how much I love the bills. She couldn't believe I wasn't celebrating, I said 13 seconds is a long time especially when it comes to the bills. I'm 34 years old and had to watch the music city miracle. I was 11 years old and it absolutely devastated me, I cried for nearly an hour afterwards. My first experience with the bills losing in the playoffs was in 1996 when the jaguars ran down our throats and Kelly lost his last home playoff game.
This game is on the same level as the music city miracle, but worse because of the pain we feel for Allen. He is putting everything on the line for this team and the coaches couldn't come through in the last 13 seconds. It is very heartbreaking, but we gotta move on brother. Allen isn't going anywhere and he will win the big one, I truly believe that!!

As a chiefs fan, it was a long week of hearing how we would lose and it made me kind of start to hate the bills. But after watching that game and recovering from 3 heart attacks during it, man, Allen is such a beast. Bills will be my number 2 from now on. Plays the game hard and just handles himself like a true professional. You guys truly terrified me the most. No doubt you get at least one title.

That game was the 2 best teams in the NFL this year. I feel your pain brother. I'm a huge chiefs fan and must say Josh Allen played a great game. I expect you will get another chance in the future.
I lived through the SB losses and all the bad games after, missed playoffs etc. And that loss against the Chiefs and how they lost, made me feel far worse than anything else this team has done. This loss topped them all. Bc of the roller coaster of emotions. Bc we had that game won. Bc our QB did everything he could and our defense and coaching 1000% let him down. Thats why this was the worst loss in Buffalo Bills history in terms of how I felt after.
I used to go to The Rock piile as a kid to watch the Bills play with my dad who was a police officer working security at the games. I've seen it all and always taking it on the chin. As you describe, last night's game leaves a pit in my stomach that can't be described. And as you also mentioned, I'm not getting over this game. Our offense was amazing. However, I noticed after the first two plays of the Chiefs first scoring drive that the bills defense was off. I figured they'd get their momentum and timing in the second quarter. It didn't happen. Then I was hoping they'd show up after the half. Didn't happen. When staring at that 13 seconds I said, "please defense, at least be there during this 13 seconds!"...fade to black...
Bills have Josh Allen, I'd say that's a lot to be positive about as for the future.
They said the same thing about Jim Kelly. They did win many games with him, but no Super Bowls. While this loss was not the fault of Allen, it was still devastating. The Bills were 13 seconds away from playing in the conference championship game, and they blew it.

I'm a Diehard Chiefs fan and I want to tell you I feel the exact same way you do....before Mahomes got here I went thru year after year of heartbreak...and even now when my team loses I can't even watch any sports media or even watch any replay of the loss EVER..your Bills are great but unfortunately Josh came into the league at the same time as other teams who also have elite QBs...Mahomes, Herbert, Burrow and all in the AFC...it will be tough for all of the QBs to be consistent Superbowl contenders on a yearly basis ...
I'm 64 years old -- seen the Chiefs suffer two brutal playoff losses in my life: the 1971 game vs. the Dolphins, and the 2018 game vs. the Patriots. Trust me, I feel for the Bills fans. It's painful. But the Bills have a great team and a fantastic QB for years to come! Good luck next season, Bills fans!! I lived through a 50 year gap between SB IV and SBLIV. I feel ya.
On a note to keep things in Perspective in 88 the Bengals beat us to go to SB AND then we went to 4 straight. This game to me had the same feeling as in 88 and the wide right SB losing by 1 point with no time left.

Including the music City miracle. Yes we have Josh allen but therr are too many variables in a season to think we will get back again. Ugh. So heart brraking

I feel you Z Bot. I have watched every single Bills game since 1990. I was at the unbillievable comeback in 92. And this one was the most roller coaster of emotion I've seen as a fan. It could be argued this is a worse loss than the Norwood miss because this team will see so much AFC competition over the years and there will be a bunch of changes next year. My hope is this loss doesn't change the trajectory of this team. Dan Marino only went to one. But in JA17 we trust.

I didn't think they could lose with 13 seconds left. They had to be thinking of the music city miracle and the botched squib kick that created it. I hope Frazier is gone after this debacle. We played so soft against them the #1 defense gave up almost 600 yards of offense. Please don't let the door hit you on the way out. Josh was unbelievable, down the toilet though.

As a life long Chiefs fan that learned to deal with a similar (albeit smaller) curse of our own, taking a healthy step back and assessing whether and why football should mean this much to you might not be a bad idea. I know in many ways, its way more than a game.... but it really is just a game.

This game will sting for a long time, but maybe unlike most my mind immediately went to every little moment during this season that went the way it did in order for that game to be in KC rather than Buffalo. The blocked punt/TD against Pitt; the 4th down slip against Tenn; the stinker against Jax; the wind game against NE; the OT loss against the Bucs....and then even KC beating Denver in the last week of the season on that fumble return when Denver was about to score. If ANY 1 of those things turns out differently throughout the course of the season, that game is in Orchard Park rather than KC. It's unbelievable that every 1 of those went against us. Yes we should've won that game anyway, but if it's in Orchard Park I think we would've gotten it done.

The Bills need a new CB this upcoming draft. Dane Jackson and Levi Wallace aren't going to work to get to the Superbowl. They desperately needed Tre White this game. Also I think it's time to get a new DC. Leslie Frazier made some of the worst calls this season.

young fella, we lost to the high-powered san diego chargers in the 1980 afc divisional playoffs, in the last minute and we would have hosted the raiders at orchard park the next week for the afc title game and possibly played the eagles with jaworski in the super bowl, and i feel we could have won it then. that was the year we broke the miami jinx, tore the goalposts down in the season opener. they did the same shit against the cards and let them get to midfield. coaching staff was scared shitless and played for a touchdown over the top and gave up all the short shit, thats on the bills..played not to lose and mcdermott looked like marv levy in the super bowls...

With Josh as far as getting hurt, he definitely should slide more. He runs like a speedy shifty fullback. However, I feel sitting in the pocket would be worse for him, better chance to take a shot he doesnt see coming. Lamars ankle injury was in the pocket this year for example. He will be smarter about this, John Elway is one that comes to mind that could do it all like him. He got away from scrambling too eventually.
