All Allen does is throw bombs and run for miracle 3rd down conversions. He needs to take a page from burrow and learn how to put 10-12 play drives together. It’s not always about the huge TD plays. He also definitely misses Brian Dabol

That's the offensive scheme. Dorsey needs to change. The progressions are designed to prioritize deep , then intermediate, then short. It's a bad scheme for a team that has a trash O line

I doubt the OC is telling Allen to chuck bombs and run when it’s not a designed run. Allen is overrated because he’s big with decent speed and a strong arm. That’s about it though. He’s got a lot to learn. Your best receiver had 10 targets and 4 were catchable. That’s terrible.

It's honestly not rocket science. We run a offense where the progression sequence is Deep/intermediate/ short. When you have a bad offensive line that is a bad philosophy. Most teams pass sequence is intermediate/short/deep or short/ intermediate/ deep. Also we only have 1 great route runner (Diggs) and he's always double covered. I know Josh loves Dorsey but this offensive scheme is bad for a team built like ours.
You were asking why there was no energy from the Bills,I think the only explanation is that they were still stunned from the injury to Hamlin when they played the Bengals and just couldn't get passed that. No other way to explain this it was just mind puzzling had to be something going on.

The way he plays, he doesnt have 10 years if they dont build around him properly, and take some of the pressure off him. Also, his contract limits how much you can build around him.
As a Bills fan since 1972, I can say they have never failed to disappoint me. And the Sabres are close behind. The hardest fan to be in the world is a Buffalo sports team fan, period. Does anybody remember the Buffalo Braves NBA team? Same thing.
I remember going to Braves games at the Aud. Randy Smith, McAdoo, Ernie G...win or lose, always liked having a team in Buffalo. Sabres have turned things around this year.

Because I hated how he walked in a cut every playoff level player on the team because we only needed a few pieces back then. I felt foolish then when we lost by 4pts to Jacksonville in a wildcard game after he gutted the team. I was a real diehard superfan and it really helped to step away briefly. Now my blood pressure stays low but the embarrassment stays

They haven’t been the same since the Monday night game. Every game after was terrible. I almost wanted them to lose to Miami so we wouldn’t get humiliated in the divisional. What we saw on Sunday was a team on empty. They needed fire, a common enemy, something to get them going - instead they were compounded by all these terrible events. Probaby PTSD. BTW I lived through the 90s, this feels the same. No matter what, ride or die.
Brandon Beane needs to get the axe. I do not have an ounce of confidence in him on draft night and we have to get this right!! It is not about free agents for us.

Most will disagree with me but I think we should try and trade Tre White this off-season or before the deadline in season 23. Benford and Elam could be our young starting corners and I truly think Benford is our best corner! But how will we know when he sat behind Dane Jackson all year😐 He could have at least played safety opposite Poyer, but I guess Cam Lewis was better😶
Anyways, McDermott makes some serious questionable calls when it comes to this roster, Kumerow making the roster over Hodgins, Moss making the team over a guy like Nick McCloud, then we sign Xavier Rhodes?? This stuff baffles me and it is starting to show on the scoreboard in the playoffs. Shakir was our second best receiver all year and sat the bench. McDermott loves his "culture" and "veterans earned it" style but that style is losing in the post season. Shakir should have been starting all year and had a great relationship with Josh by the playoffs.
Sorry for the rant man, I'm with you on your frustrations it is tough. I think we need to move on from Frazier and Dorsey to be honest, but I know they won't which truly scares me about this regime. I think they are to loyal and it will be there downfall!

I don’t know maybe I am wired differently. Looking at all the hurdles they had to face, all the injuries. Bills get stranded in Chicago on Christmas, finally get home, have to dig their way out to drive home, then the first game after ALL of that Damar Hamlin drops dead on the field. The emotions that coach McDermott, and the entire team had, you can till that was the straw that broke the camels back. Their season ended on the sidelines in Cincinnati. If not for Hines heroics, they lose to the pats. They struggled against the dolphins, and ran out of gas vs the Bengals. Let’s not forget this is a team that competed in the superbowl. They earned some respect.
I get it, some fans are so emotionally attached to the team. Take a second and really think about what this team had to endure.

First, relax the Bengals are not the better team; they were merely better on that given day. The BIlls came out flat, unprepared for the pressure or magnitude of the game. It looked like they were emotionally spent, just not executing as they could even on an off day. This team this year went through so much from the Topps shooting, Knox brother, every person on the team injured, Kim Pegula's illness, weather, Hamlin, Josh's elbow.....and so on and so on. This I believe is what happened, they were emotionally exhausted and at the worst time experienced an off day. Now I don't hide my apprehension regarding coaching and individual play. The D and Offense struggled for most of the season and just didn't come together the ways they should have when considering the talent on the team. THE BENGALS AGAIN, are not a better team - they were better that day. This off season they have to get rid of the soft zone and start pressuring the QB's as the teams did to Allen the 2nd half of the season. There's no pressure from the D line and time to turn the page on a few of the D linemen like Oliver and Espeneza. We need to go to a 4 3 4 and put Von as a weak side LB like Lawrence Taylor allow him to roam, pick his attack points, read the Offense to take away the run, get to the qB. We need to play tighter, challenge every play, be aggressive to put fear in opposing teams QB's eyes - like a top D say Ravens or Steelers in the 2000s. Offense, for hell sake the line sucked. But most is Josh's fault for holding the ball too long on EVERY PLAY. Our offensive scheme SUCKS. We need to drop Lil Dirty, Crowder, Kumorow, and get a 3d WR that can stretch the field. I'm not opposed to keeping Smoke, we can get him cheap but the draft has to address speed on the outside and height. (TO SAY THE BILLS AREN'T ON THE SAME LEVEL IS PATENTLY FALSE YOU CAN'T COMPARE OTHER TEAM'S SUCCESS TO OUR LACK OF SUCCESS WHEN IT CAME DOWN TO COACHING FOR BOTH BENGALS AND CHIEFS) Josh needs to bet back to 2 years ago when he was able to stay in a rhythm, two - four step drop release. I am sick and tired of McDermott and Frazier completely dropping the ball in the playoffs. Their defense has been absolutely pathetic the last three postseasons. Do they even watch tape and game plan? I don't see any evidence for it. They just plop out their boring, old 4-2-5 zone and expect it to perform. Big changes are needed if this team wants to move forward.

I totally get the disappointment, it feels like the usual story and we have heard it all and we will hear it all again until next season “Bills cant win” “ The Bills will always end up screwing things up at the end” and for fans outside of Buffalo “ Why do you support the Bills if they always end up losing?” i been a fan of the Bills since i was 7 years old and i am now 40, here in Mexico theres a really small community of Bills fan so its common to get the same bullshit comments every year. But lets not get discouraged, this is a good team, this is a great organization and Buffalo is a great town, they have to take a deep look on what they need to do in this offseason and change a lot of stuff, i hope they do it, the famous “super bowl window” is not closed, theres no invincible team in the NFL, if the Bills understand what they really need to change and stop just hoping for Allen to win the games for them then they have all the opportunity to be great the next year and in the future. I know it looks darker now than last year, but that has a lot to do with the media discourse of the Bills being the favorite to win it all this year, we knew they were struggling since November, next year they wont be super bowl favorites and that really doesn’t matter, they still have the team to fight for it, the Bills have the future in their hands if they chose to go for it, the media talking wont make you a super bowl winner and wont prevent you from winning one either, so i hope they focus on really improving this offseason and lets go for it next year, yes, next year has been said forever, we will say it until we get that ring, and we will.

As a Bills fan who lives far from WNY in another NFL city I can shed some light on this. I'm not saying it's *entirely* accurate and I'm not saying it's *entirely* fair, but The Bills are often seen as a tiresome Drama-of-the-Week team that whines a lot and thinks they are the only team that faces adversity.

The Bengals run game is deceptively great (not good, great). They don't use their RBs in a traditional way. Burrow plays out of shotgun and prefers short screens to his RBs vs handing off the ball. That's why the Bengals are 7th in yards after catch. That's how they use their RBs. Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine are no joke. The Bengals are gonna win the Super Bowl.

Personally I had the Bengals winning, but I did not expect them to bully the Bills, especially in the snow at home. As a Chargers fan, I'll believe the hype when I see it, just happy that Joe Lombardi is gone, he's been trash all season and a cancer to that offense.
Every press conference Sean does know is killing his own career. Literally being defined by his last game. It’s just a testament to his ineptitude in the playoffs. And, he tries to ignore and deny his culpability’s in this. Just the big three of excuses he always gives of checking the tapes, evaluating players, and the biggest career killer is trusting the process. He’s had six year and he’s emotional and intellectually stunted on rebuilding. Every presser he gives now moves him faster and further away from Beane and the Pegula’s to seat opposite either Nance or Romo. Along with a surprising and perhaps masterful trade of exchanges between the saints for Payton and New Orleans with McDermott serving merely as a seat filler until they can find someone for their next hurdle and step up.

Best way to lose? Hear me out - sorry to have missed the live show. Given the L - can't change that - there's a case that this was the best way to take the L. Either way, season over, didn't make to AFC Champ game, that's the way it is. But - would you rather have a loss like last year - could have won with one less dropped pass or one FG - and then be complacent about the state of the team? Or is it better to get punched in the face with an embarrassing loss? I'd prefer the latter. Would you rather see us go all next year as over-hyped favorites or as disrespected underdogs? I'd prefer the latter. Would you rather go through offseason with front office thinking we just need to tune a couple of things and keep on keeping on, or would it be better to realize that major changes are needed if we ever want to win it all? Again, I'd prefer the latter.
Our window is still open but something has to change with coaching and scheme. If our nickel wasn't working why stay with it? We played 2 high press man a few times and had success why not stay with it?

I think there are some serious issues going on in the background that we are not aware of. I realize the offense and defense have problems but it is like someone deflated the team right before going on to the field, we had nothing. This leads me to speculate something is going on!!!

Philadelphia has not made numerous NFC championships in the past decade. They have made only one. Last time they made an NFC championship prior to the '17 season was the 2008 season.
